Gave her Recharge for the first time this week, she seemed to love it. She bushed back out again in a couple of days after defoliation. Bud sites are developing nicely. BDM is back-right in the group pics.

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Ok so I did a drip system on these plants for about a couple weeks took it out now half the plants want to be watered more then usuall and if not they start to droop other then that it’s fine hopefully they will do better when they get transplanted to 5 gallon pots

Added 2 videos on preparing a nutrient solution and pH balancing the solution. This week saw aggressive topping (mid week 4) and some serious leaf damage. Not sure if the leaf damage is from the topping, nutrients, etc. I did a flush and solution swap, cleaned the air stone and inside of the jar etc. Built the trellis and started training. I'll cut away whatever trellis doesn't end up getting used once flowering starts. Creepy Don Santa is watching this grow closely. That cat of his is trouble.

420Fastbuds-FBA2506 I'm excited as it's tester time. Germination week is complete. I planted 3 seeds and had all 3 sprout within 48hrs of being in the soil. I do soak them for 48hrs in a glass of water before planting. I can't wait to see what the weeks to come will have in store. Happy Growing

Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. My Skunk Apple Runtz plant is finally starting to bounce back. The leaves are getting their color back, and it smells fantastic – all thanks to the Ricky Bobby. It's a shame the plant's shape is a little funky, but honestly, I can live with it if it keeps producing that amazing smell.

Not really done much last week, they got a bit of light burn from LED. Which I've now move up. But new growth seems to be doing ok. Cover crops are coming on fantastic. 26/6 Friday V) She is the bid sister of the group so I'm going to top her today 29/6 V) Has got 4 new grow tips started where I topped her. The rest are catching up nicely now. Will start some LST in the next couple of days. 2/7 Done a bit if training on the girls today. Bent four of them over. The fifth one that I topped I didn't bend her yet, I just did some leaf tucking and she is coming on fantastic. 3/7 They have all bounced back brilliantly and heading towards the lights. 5/7 End of week 3 and going to do some more LST on them as the have bounced back from the last lot of training.

***** Week 12 growth - February 20 to 26, 2021 - Week 3 Flower ***** These girls have been happy all week and CL2 has looked happiest still. CL1 pheno came out of the gate stronger and taller from the beginning but I have been looking for a little more out of her so while I was giving GSC x 707Headband some fulvic acid in her feed I gave some to CL1 also. She has reacted well to it, or it certainly hasn’t brought about anything negative. Used Gold Storm at 5ml/L👍 CL2 is just freaking gorgeous and may be a keeper, in early growth anyways😃 Love her size, node spacing, leaf to calix ratio, thick branching, early trichome production......all on point so far🔥When I took a leaf the other day the underside vein appeared to be slightly starting a color change......should be some purple in there somewhere with that genealogy😍 Light is at 20” and pulling 480 watts at the end of the week. Stated off with 400 watts at the start of the week but keep pushing it up this week. I don’t want to break 1,000 to 1,100 PAR by very much as I am not supplementing with true CO2. I have an Exhale bag to raise it a couple hundred ppm. Feel the need to keep the intensity high for penetration lower in the canopy. Will lower the amount of time in daylight if stress gets too high. Push to 11/13???? Nutrients are following IPP HOG 3 Part pretty closely. Just playing with macro nutrient ratios but otherwise supplements are at full week dosages following week 3. Have been seeing great resin production last runs so staying with Rezin as part of their feed schedule in flower. Terpinator......I think I see a lot of sulfer benefit here so it stays in the grows as well. Recharge seems to be working out well but we did the change mid grow from Microbial Mass. Since in coco have to feed the microbes so they reproduce and really dig Nature’s Candy with Remos additives in there👍 To help keep the root zone clean we add Enzymes😃 I have been debating a lot lately about the addition of CalMag to these nutrient lines and it’s necessity but since in coco I keep adding some......noticed a couple of spots on MM2 so have added it back in a bit more this week. Little more detail....... Feb 20/21 - Day 15 - Full feed today.....it’s been five days. - tap water with Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP line at full strength. - 1400ppm and 6.1pH - CL2 given 4L with good runoff. - CL1 was given some fulvic acid in Gold Storm. Help with giving her a chance to stretch a little more. Little more node spacing.....bushier girl. - 5ml/L added to feed for 1490ppm and 6.1pH. She was given 4L with good runoff. Feb 21/21 - Day16 - Dry out day Feb 22/21 - Day 17 - watering with supplements and light feed today. We are in mid flower now.....need to keep the macro nutrients up. - Epsom salts @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. Purple on stems is getting prominent......could be cold temps but also giving magnesium. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, grow @ 1ml, micro @ 2ml, bloom @ 2.5ml, Recharge @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. - 1400ppm and 6.0pH. - 4L Feb 23/21 - Day 18 - keeping up the silica this watering - silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Ultimate B+ @ 1ml - 600ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Little to no runoff this watering. Feb 24/21 - Day 19 - full feed again today.....girls are big and growing hard......keep it going💪 - IPP line as listed for full line. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml - 1425ppm and 6.0pH - they are taking the high ppm feeding well. Feb 25/21 - Day 20 - Had some feed water left from yesterday. Added plain tap water to get 20L. - 810ppm and 6.1pH - 1.5L......don’t want to over saturate the medium. Feb 26/21 - Day 21 - Nothing today. - Will feed early tomorrow as it’s Saturday. - Let the root zone get some oxygen is my thought and water to nice runoff first thing in morning. Week 3 behind us and going into 4.....middle of flower and girls are feeding hard. Pushing the lights hard now as well so need to keep the ppm up👍 Little more variety in these two phenos but certainly not negative differences. In the end I think CL1 might have bigger colas than CL2 because she is getting some wide/thick bud tops. I do like the appearance of 2 better though because I suspect trim is going to be better as well😎 Again though......I am make sure nothing happens to the clone of CL2 and Mandarin Mimosa 1 right now💪👊 Good week ETS.....let the swelling begin🌟
