420 Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 11 This week has been super interesting non the less. We had a couple monsoons roll through and absolutely dump a ton of water. Over all they did handle it well no broken branches but between the humidity and heat I can't wait for cooler temperatures. Still watering straight well water about 2 liters daily. They're moving through flower fast as the flower sites are growing super fast swelling nicely and starting to have a real sweet smell. All in all Happy Growing.

My poor girls... the calcium toxitity got worse before it got better. Even after the flush, the problem continued for a few more days so the leaves are worse for wear. I'm so upset about this. Ughh. I've had issues with every grow when it came to flowering. Unsure why. Last time I had pH issues, this time a calcium toxicity that causes a lock out of I believe at least phosphorus. They are on the mend now even though the damage has been done to the leaves. Their buds have already fattened so much more since the actual flush last week. The leaves are just terrible though. At this point I'm just hoping to come out with an ok enough yield so that this whole thing won't have been a waste. I learned a lesson with this grow... the water here for this grow is higher in calcium than the city we lived in with my first 2 grows. Next grow, using calmag VERY sparingly. Hopefully my 4th go will finally be the charm. 😖😕😖😩😫😭😭😭 8/25/22: Well the girls have recovered pretty well. No more lockout or leaves shriveling. The buds are getting fatter and we've got some cloudy trichomes already but they still need another 2 or 3 weeks after being as sick as they were. Both the Granddaddy purps are have some purple coming through... excited about that. I also noticed that the stems on all 3 plants that were super dark red before the flush is now are lightening up. It's pretty amazing how these plants quickly recover. 😍

Great plant structure so far! The best-looking plant out of all of the ones growing. Roots are starting to come out of the bottom of the pot and Will be transplanting soon. People of the ganja world, here we are, he second plant has gone down, we apologise to anyone affected by PTSD from the two towers, it was not our intention to harm you with the similarity. Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT! Yes it is time to get these ladies dried and ready to serve their purpose, life is a party, so let us have one! See you soon folks!

Week 3 = The Clown Show. I definitely transplanted too early into 14l pots. I also should have only started two seeds because this tiny tent is crowded now. I kinda freaked out when I saw what looked like nutrient deficiencies (calcium, potassium, I don't know) AND nutrient burn? I was so damn confused. I also realized not ph'ing was a dumb idea and quickly went out and bought a ph meter. I assumed since the tap water here is drinkable and not chlorinated, it's fine. But turns out it all comes from underground aquifers that are made of bedrock and every mineral that increases ph. I'm using lemon juice as my ph-down now and have figured that out pretty well. 1ml of it gets the water down to 6.0-6.3. Anyway, I spent the weekend in YouTube University trying to figure out what mistakes I made. More experienced growers, please feel free to comment with tips. Just don't be an asshole.
