this week buds getting fat. everything as usual. end of this week gonna give second compost tee. buds are sticky some areas hard to reach therefore impossible to defoliate. I love growing forest.

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. Only 1 plant harvested, the other is a few weeks behind and is in much better health. Chopped one on day 77 and I'll let the other go until like day 82-85. I will also prob create a better song for this strain. I was on a time constraint.

Germinated went well both seeds germinated in abt 3 days in Water ac infinity tent coming in soon so I’ll be transferring it to the tent around Wednesday.

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

Week 4 This week 4/28-5/4 Germination April 6. Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. 5/1 That was a fun feeding week. I got heavy handed with the TPS1 which put the ppm to 1600= so I had to dilute with more water which changed the ph. So I carefully added the smallest amount oh PHdown..then the PH was 5.08 so then added ph up. Oops too high, let’s try again. Ok finally within range with 6.02. Am I the only one?? Hopefully next week I have better control on the nutes. With my AC controller in charge of the humidifier, I must add 3-4 gallons of water a day. (Getting my lifting exercises in regularly). Girls are fed 2 liters of water every other day. Nutrients: TPS1 7ml per gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Took pics 5/1 and 5/3 which show the vigorous leaf growth after only 2 days following defoliation and training. Lemon Drizzle is V shaped with a primary main stalk and a secondary smaller one, With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. Until the plants are big enough to go outside, I will be using my AC Infinity tent and equipment. Once outside, I will be watering with well water and recharge and any additional fertilizers or amendments will be determined at that time. The plants doing very well. Since the topping they already filling out all the space again. I will give them around one more week before i send them into flower. I am still surprised that my soil coco wormcasting mix still gives them all they need and that I can’t see any nutrient deficiencies at all. I guess the pot size is the key for it. The clones not having any roots so far but still doing well. In the next upcoming days they will show up.
