Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. This pheno was certainly on roids. The strain being from an autoflower just outpaced every other plant by at least 2 weeks. It produced a whopping 8 ounces. The colors gave an alien reddish purple glow as if it were from mars. The aroma was that of blueberry cacao, a totally unique chocolatey profile.

Popped 2 of each and had 100% germ and sprout rate! Didn’t take a picture of any specific genetic popped that day so here’s a video!

Esta semana la dejamos más tranquila a la Jack solo le hicimos un trasplante a 5 litros quedo bien , la dejamos recuperar unos días y después le hacemos las últimas podas y ya va a estar lista para florecer

I'm gonna have to try this strain again as the pheno that I got was not 'The One'😞. It didn't display the really dark, desirable, coloration in the leaves and was EXTREMELY sensitive to nutrients and water amount! Hard as I could try I couldn't get her dialed in. She looks and smells amazing but she ended up much smaller than I expected and was not a big resin producer. Have to see how she smokes after a 4 week cure!😛 I did end up trying out a nug from a jar that was @ 58%RH. It was ROCK HARD, crystallized and smoked incredible! You can immediately feel it hit you right in the forehead, them moves through you with a tranquil relaxing stupor.

Lady MimosaE was able to get fatter in peace. The humidity is borderline. Fluctuations of 40 -70%. But I will leave it like this, humidification with a fogger and bucket is running. Otherwise I only watered with water Light Power: 100% Day 79 Flower #3

New clones just arrived! Starting them off straight into coco coir this time. First transplant today into solo cups. They got a pretty heavy first watering with a PPM of about 425. Hoping to really start them off strong. I will be vegging them for much longer than usual. I typically veg my plants for 4 to 6 weeks and these girls will be vegging for 8 to 9. This grow will be a great chance for me to try some HEAVY plant training techniques.
