The plant more than doubled its size this week. I thought that might be the case but was not sure how multiple 100f degree days would affect her, but she did just fine, and even seemed to thrive. I watered the night before hot weather started with my compost tea. Two mornings later got watered deep with cal-mag water in the morning, and has been doig well without water since and I held off a day to water to wait and see if it rains. Also gpt a little top sress of BSF frass and a touch of neem seed meal to help with pests and also helped the microbes in the tea.

July 30, - Last week of Veg from the look of the plant, its heading into flower - plant has had its 1st meal w/ Veg nutes reduced, 2nd meal w/ Bloom nutes introduced. - Next meal posted above. 31st, - branch-bending and some fresh compost on the plant base. (= tv dinner for a couple weeks) Aug 1 - started the day with some LST and the top of this plant is now pretty darn wide and level. Yesterdays bending was well timed. After only 2 LST sessions on the Canopy, its a different more receptive plant heading into Flower - last transition meal fed; 3 gallons. Next meal, its bloom nutes from here on out Aug 2nd - when gentle-bending becomes kinky… the plant looked great after the LST. This morning I saw a great opportunity and it involved More aggressive tactics and saw some more aggressive kinking & super-cropping. - plant had a nice “South-facing” slope. Aug 3 - woke up to a beautiful plant, with a legitimate level canopy. Bring on the Blossoms, Jack is down to 38” again Got rid of the last Sucker in the grow. No touch now lol, what you see is what you get Aug 4 - next meal posted above… - clipped the lower suckers on ea Cola branch to help keep the business on the end

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! End of Week 9 (Second week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1300ppm and the ladies have stopped stretching. The main top-sites are starting to form buds. I defoliated a few fan leaves again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites I also gave a cup of worm castings as a top-up to each pot to give the microbes a boost and it replenishes vital minerals to the soil. Hey what’s up fellas ✌️ Week 2 of flowering, I have trim the legs by cutting all the small shoots in the bottom that won’t reach the canopy. And removing some few big fans leaves that are covering some lower shoots. I gave them a lil bit of nutrients during this week, last time was about 13 days ago. Just to support the stretch. Keeping an eye on the plants is the best way to know when to feed them. Lights are at max level now, all the ladies should have plenty enough space to grow without reaching the cooking zone. The Mars-Hydro led is just a bit lower and closer as it produces less heat. ✅New Growers Tips✅ ✅Trim your plants legs, don’t waste energy on the bottom popcorn buds. ✅Your plants are stretching, they need Nitrogen, stick to your Grow/Veg. nutrients ✅Always pop more seeds than expected to grow, look at the shitty plants in the middle between the 2 scrog in the video, those plants were germinated same day than the ones in the scrog... Keep the best phenotypes and put the shitty ones at the trash. 29.09.2024 - Day 17 every plant was dry after 3 days, i only gave them 3L of plain rainwater pH 6.0-7.0~ each 04.10.2024 - Day 22

D49 - Today is the first day in the seventh week of veg for #2 and the sixth for #1. It has been a week since I topped the first girl, so I went ahead and topped her for the third and final time. #2 is thriving, and I'm using LST to spread her out while keeping her flat. With the toppings now done, I can install the scrog net soon-ish. As for the thrips, I haven't noticed any additional damage, and hopefully, the mites are doing their thing. I realized, though, that I had one extra package of mites. Instead of waiting for slow release, I went full Rambo by cutting up the package and sprinkling the mites/sawdust all over the girls and soil. I also redirected the airflow to not blow directly on the plants. I'll leave the sawdust there until tomorrow and then brush it off. The slow-release bags are still on the plants, so there isn't much to lose with additional shock-and-awe tactics. DIE THRIPS!!! Finally, I started a compost tea heavy with neem meal, which should help create an inhospitable environment for the thrips. Worst case, I have neem oil, but I don't want to go down that route unless I have to. D53 - I did some additional LST to both girls and removed a few leaves and branches on the underside of #2. I also cut back the cover crop and gave each girl 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3. D55 - I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of compost tea @ pH 6.5. The first girl has bounced back strong after her final topping, and in a few days, it will be time to flip, but I need to do one last defoliation before that. Sorry about the porn-light pics. I was a bit late, and my lights had already gone into sunset mode.

How's it growing guys, this is my new Diary that I would like to share with the Grow Gang! 2 short videos just explaining the setup and showing the germination rate. My other 2 diaries were my 1st which I'm not doing a good job of filling it out properly but I will do a better job with this strain on keeping you guys updated. 12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

Although both plants are amnesia haze, they seem to be showing very different traits already. AH#1 is forming typical Sativa like buds as expected and should be ready for harvest in the next couple weeks. AH#2, while 3 weeks younger, is much much more pungent than her older sister and the plant is already a lot bigger in size!

Week 14 (Apr 1 – Apr 7) April 1–3 → buds heavy, pistils turning darker. April 6–7 → macro shots of trichomes: mostly cloudy, still some clear. Aroma increasing strongly.

Temps were hard to control this week due to a heat wave and the fact I'm in a basement with no AC. I put the fans in the tent on too high a setting pointed right at the plants and they ended up with some wind stress which can be seen in the pics affecting the new growth. Bought a 6 inch inline fan to beef up the exhaust for the tent and this seems to have helped a lot. I moved the tent to its final location to allow access to ventilation so I can pipe the smell outside when the flowering starts. I started low stress training on both plants this week. I decided not to top either plant but I will for the next grow to see how it affects yields. I also fixed the other viovsun tent that had a broken zipper track and only one slider. Hopefully I can use it in the future for flowering photoperiod plants.

I am watering them a bit more than 1L f water every 2 days and allways adding nutrients, I give them Fast food + Shogun + Auto Stimulator + Calmag and 2 days after bio-bloombastic + calmag. Once every two weeks I also add bloombastic in both feedings since it is a low PK (1312, funny number though 👊😋) due to its organic procedence. The LSDs are the taller plants in the back and in the right wall of the grow tent and the ones in the center are blueberrys Overall I am very happy, LSDs are getting really mean main colas and it seems to me that they are not going to be ready this week, which is not what Barneys said but is better for me in order to get a greater harvest, and to be honest, me being a first time grower might have also played a role on the process lasting a little longer since I slightly overfed them the first week of flowering. I must also say that this is an exceptional genetic, I mean they are sooo sticky and have such a nice smell that I am crazy to try them once I finish. Also, I am going to try and get a narchotic effect on these LSDs by harvesting them when all the trichomes turn brown after a 5 day root washing

Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

Week 7 started, plants are going well, biscotti mints 1 looks a bit behind of biscotti mints 2.. I flushed both plants, one in the beginning of the week 7 and number 2 after it dried out from last watering yesterday.. breeder says plants will be ready in 8-9 weeks so now only water and watch the trichomes to harvest in the best time 🙌🏼
