Week 3 is here This one is looking weird, but I had temperature problems in the night plus she is on a 12/12 because she shares a room with 3 photoperiods I topped her two days ago and the two tops are showing I fixed the heat problem and will switch the light cycle as soon as the photoperiods are done. She started germination Monday 14/10/2019 straight into the soil, after 3 days she turned into a little sprout. 23/10/2019 - Struggling a bit to maintain good veg RH (55-65), currently between 45-50, humidifier on the way. PH was also to high about 7.5-8.0, already fix it to 6.5, with a drop of lemon juice. 24/10/2019 - Noticed little flies on the tent, going to add sticky trap.

I’m a few days late with my entry because I was busy in the other tent finishing up with a project. The express is going along nicely. I duped the nutrients and ran a few days of florakleen to run a test and see if stripping the salts and removing the nutrient bond as advertised makes a difference. She has a big beautiful stall and all her branches are supported nicely.

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

Growth has been amazing in this short space of time. WiIl transplant into final 15 gallon pot at the end of week 3. I am aiming for an 14 week grow till harvest this run.

Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. NL stopped also vertical growth, started to fatten her buts. :D Her main cola will be huge.

Well week 15 and 5th week of flower started yesterday, 9/12. I did a little more defoliation over the weekend, maybe cut 20 leaves altogether. Everything is still looking good. Temps are good, rh is good, airflow is definitely good. And judging by the frosty trichs that are showing I'd say everything is right on schedule. Starting to get more smell. That's about it for now. Eccoci un altra settimana è passata, anche poco di più.. Devo dire che queste genetiche sono davvero impressionanti! C'è resina addirittura sulle foglie laterali, le così dette "prendisole" devo ammettere che nn mi aspettavo davvero un concentrazione così alta di resina già ora che i fiori nn si stanno ancora gonfiando! Impressionante è dire poco! Forse è merito di questi nutrienti spettacolari di Terra Aquatica che stanno facendo questa enorme differenza, è la mia prima volta in idroponica e davvero nn mi aspettavo così tanta resina e dei fiori così belli! L. Unico mio timore è che le piante avendo dato troppa vegetativa siano troppo attaccate alla luce, ma posso fare ben poco, ormai purtroppo nn posso più fare nulla, quello che esce continuerà a crescere, ma ora per fortuna sembra che la crescita in altezza si sia un po arrestata.. L odore di frutti tropicali inizia a farsi sentire! Sopratutto la papaya sherbert sa davvero tanto di papaya, e sembra lo shampoo che uso, mi viene voglia di addentare le cime dal buon odore che sento! Davvero sono grato a Fastbuds di avermi dato ancora questa possibilità di crescere le sue genetiche! Day 35 to 37 is showing rapid hydroponic growth. The roots are getting very dense at the bottom of the container. There is much less tendency for the roots to grow up into the available space. This makes it more difficult to crack loose and raise the root mass from the bottom of the container.

Last week for our C-vibez grom dutch Passion! 🇳🇱 Awesome strain, fruity and citric smell with very hard and sticky buds, we see trichomes all over the plant and leaves! This strain is close to one of my favorites so far. This week we continue with water and in some days we will harvest!
