Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. Not a lot to report this week. The leaf curl has diminished, and all the girls are looking pretty good! This tent is going to fill up quick, using the SoG. Let's see what happens next week!

The last two weeks are beginning. I'm getting hungry and are slowly starting to get amber.I'm starting to give only half the nutrients.

The Bruce Banner shows the first pre-flowering in Veg4. Plants are growing well but the size of the tent doesn't make it easy. The plants have already been switched to a 12/12 light cycle.

The Afghan is a show off. The buds so far are growing strong for 21 day’s of flowering. No worries with this strain as she takes defoliation very good.

I know you shouldn't really be defoliating when auto plants are in flower but I had to clear a path for airflow around the bottom of the plant because humidity is high because of the summer months apart from that she is going from strength to strength couldn't be happier would definitely grow Dutch passion again

This strain was a pain in the ass honestly. I will never grow bagseeds again, when real genetics are so cheap. This plant hermmed so I have a metric fuckton of seeds that I have no idea what to do with. But for a first grow, this plant was really good at letting me know when I was doing something wrong. My other runs suffered the same treatment, but their strong genetics didn't mind as much. But this plant, this plant bitched and moaned about everything. Its leaves faded like 2 weeks early. It had all these weird mutations. When she was a babe (Weeks 1-4), I literally thought that she died from how she didn't grow much at all. Every other plant I've popped since, has been a dream compared to this one. But now I know how to diagnose all these things. I feel like I got 10 grows worth of wisdom in one. So for that, I am thankful. RIP Big Bertha. You may be gone but, with the amount of seeds you've given me, your lineage will never die.

Day 7 flowering : Hi all . A good week for these Exotic ladies tjisbweek with the flowers starting to show up throughout #1,2 And 3. #4 is a week behind it seems now and has started her flowering too. All of them are looking so healthy and green with some huge fan leaves powering the beginning of stretch. I will be defoliating at around day 21 Flowering and will remove the biggest fans to get light down lower in the plants. The stems on these are so thick already that I am confident they will be holding some nice fat colas up come harvest time. #3 has taken the lead with her actual flowers amd has some golf balls forming up already!!. Thisnpot had the premixed pellets in for feeds and I wonder if that is why she is advanced ?. All in all a good week for them all. I am excited at the prospect of their next few weeks now and am so glad I had the chance to try the genetics. Thank you @exoticseed . I already love these plants and their willingness to grow happily is very endearing.

This week has been great! Germination on all 4 Pre 98 Bubbas and 2 Dirty Blondes was a success!! We planted them in there pots an through out the week we gave em each a very light spray down of pure water phd at 6.5 and by Friday they all popped out the soil Let’s go!!!!! Hey folks. Into week 16 (week 7 into flower) and the ladies are doing great! Again putting on some mass! Temps have been optimal hover around 12-25degs, night to day respectively. They are starting to stink up nice, lots of pine, kushy undertones and a hint of pepper! Sounds and smells insane. Its not loud yet but the aromas hanging out on the deck are amazing with a gentle breeze! They are packing on some serious mass and producing an amazing amount of resin. Day 36: I bend the branches even more, cut off the top leaf that covered 2 buds, one of them is very small, I hope to give it at least a little chance to grow. This is a victim of a broken branch.
