Wir sind jetzt in der Mitte der Blütephase und die AK-47 fängt ordentlich an, Muskeln zu zeigen. Die Trichombildung ist massiv und zieht sich schon weit über die Zuckerblätter – der typische AK-Geruch wird von Tag zu Tag intensiver! Ich habe gerade einen kompletten Wasserwechsel durchgeführt, damit die Lady für den Endspurt frische Nährstoffe (besonders Phosphor und Kalium) zur Verfügung hat. 💧 Wasserparameter (aktuell): • pH-Wert: 5,8 – 6,2 (wird stabilisiert, nachdem die Sonde etwas gezickt hat) • EC-Wert: 1,6 (Ich habe den Wert von 1,8 leicht gesenkt, da die Blattspitzen eine leichte Überdüngung anzeigten) • Wassertemperatur: 19°C – 21°C 🔍 Beobachtungen & Herausforderungen: Die Pflanze war letzte Woche etwas wählerisch. Ich habe bemerkt, dass der EC-Wert gestiegen ist, während der Wasserstand sank – ein klares Zeichen, dass die Nährlösung für ihren aktuellen Durst einen Tick zu stark war. Optisch steht sie super da: ein sattes, tiefes Grün und eine sehr vitale Blütenstruktur. Die ganz leichten "verbrannten Spitzen" an den Blättern nehme ich als Signal, den EC-Wert jetzt bei 1,6 zu halten. Das ist der "Sweet Spot", an dem sie am effizientesten arbeitet, ohne Salzstress zu bekommen. 🛠️ Was diese Woche gemacht wurde: • Reservoir-Wechsel: Komplett frische Nährlösung angesetzt. • Monitoring: Tägliche pH-Kontrolle (aktuell manuell, da der Monitor kalibriert werden muss). • LST/Pflege: Ein paar große Fächerblätter wurden strategisch entfernt, um die Lichtdurchlässigkeit zu den unteren Buds und die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern. Nächstes Ziel: Die Blüten beim Anschwellen beobachten und die Werte stabil halten!

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 9 Saturday 17th October: Nutes in today and more LST. Defo running out of space, so LST is proving more tricky and stems are less bendy now and much easier to crease! I’m tempted to not try too much more teasing of the plant and purely work on light height from here on in.. I don’t wanna mess up all my hard work by trying to force the plants too hard, damage them and stress them out. Other than that all looking great and pistils coming through lovely 😊 UPDATE- Day 4 of week 9: Monday 19th October Nutes in again. Increased the BioBizz Top Max this week to 3ml/l so let’s see how they respond. One girl looks like she’s a little slower than the others but other than that happy days. Oh and the crease I made in the main stem on one of my ladies last watering, doesn’t seems to have suffered any for it thankfully.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 9 Wednesday 21st October; Nutes in and a little defoliation. Have a mild case of thrips, so I’m concerned about what products to use as I’m now in the 3rd week of flower and don’t want to spoil the buds or taste.. Argh! Since putting in the dehumidifier temps have soared which is what’s causing the thrips.. Gonna use the cardboard box method for the dehumidifier to get it out the tent, just need to pickup an aluminium hose and ducting tape. Pretty pissed as I’ve had such a smooth ride up till now. Really don’t wanna spoil my first grow. Thinking some Neem oil may help but worried about spoiling the buds ☹️ Happy growing peeps! 💚✌️🏼

Die Ice Cream Haze performed mega und dass Aroma Profil ist unbeschreiblich. Süß, ein wenig wie Zuckerwatte und Schockofrüchte mit einem leichten Zitronen Haze Aroma. Ehrlich gesagt, kann ich es kaum erwarten, diese unfassbar Aromatische Sorte zu testen. Sehr viele glitzernde Trichome und funkelnde Zuckerblätter. Ein echter Hingucker.

After 2 weeks I chose my favorite plant of the three and prepared her for the Autopot. Now she needs to root this pot for another 2 weeks before we can turn on the Aqua Valve and the tank. DLI 30

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome. UPDATE: THE PLANT IN THE TEN I SPRAYED LOOKS BETTER THAN WHEN I SPRAYED IT! I ALSO DIDNT WATER AS ITS UNDER 70° AND EVERYTHING I WATERED LOOKS WORSE THAN WHAT I DIDNT. ITS TIME FOR THERE PLANT DOCTOR PREVENTATIVE. 8/20 I watered the two kush in the back WITH THE PREVENTATIVE DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR as they were dry I assume due to the wind they get. The one in the 50 I found one sep leaf. Looking carefully arpund the garden I can tell that I have a thrip infestation. First time I've fought this and it seems most people don't really know what to do besides predators at the beginning of the season. I'm too far along for spinosad. At least thats what I've been told. My pro buddy said to try to spot treat it. It's not bad bit I'm afraid it might be worse than I think. The plants I treated with citric acid look MUCH better. I think I'll dial the dosage of citric acid down and start with that tonight and switch up treatments. I can get rid of them it's just going to take a ton of work. I think I've had them before and I attributed to something else. I so think that the very early pink kush plants could handle spinosad. I hope so. The plants I watered the other day look overwatered. The plants I didn't water look GREAT. The special kush in late flower looks happier than I've ever seen her. The difference being we went from 104° one day to 72 the next with 46° night Temps. This week is highs of 70's lows of high 40°'s. I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Didn't do a video as I didn't have time but I'll do one. EDIT: Nothing needed to be watered at noontime and I'm trying to not overwater so I left them. The two I watered this morning are fine. I'm glad I caught this thrip bullshit when I did bit it sounds like it's going to be a HUUUGE pain in the ass to beat. One thing right after another. I've found those suction marks and the silvery shit they leave behind on pretty much every plant now. I'm thinking me using the leafblower (away from the other plants I THOUGHT) must have blown a bunch of them around. I'm not seeing a lot of bugs. Mainly feces. I did find a couple adults. Honestly, I've probably had these before and not known it or attributed it to something else. Literature I'd all about spinosad which of course I have on hand. AI told me I could use spinosad in early flower so MAYBE I could treat the pink kush plants with it but ill have to figure something else out for the other girls. I'm planning to treat tonight depending on where the research takes me. Not sure exactly what I'll be using but I'll keep this updated. 8/21 IT got cold last night. It was low 40's when I went to the garden. I watered the special kush in late flower and the mk ultra I kept natural. Did some defoliation. Found little feather on a large branch. Birds have been helping with pillars. I left out the plant doctor on those watering as septoria has pretty much been eradicated. Plants are drinking significantly less water. It went from 104° day time to 72°. Same with the nighttime Temps. Luckily with Temps like this the thrips don't seem to have spread. I found a couple lacewi g eggs while looking for pillars. Hopfully they will help. Maybe spot treatment and decoliation will he enough. I'll update as I go. EDIT: Went back over around noon and put up blue sticky traps and did some defoliation. I may go back tonight and treat some stuff. Not sure yet. 8/22 This is the last of the cold weather. At least for a week. It will be like 70s today but temps WILL go up so I need to figure out what to do about these thripsxandcstick to it. Doesn't look like it's spreading but I've seen adults now. The sticky traps caught one. I killed one but I'm seeing lots of yellowing leaves. I know they are flowering but still. I watered today butvi watered much less. I gave the two kush invthe back a half gallon each. I gave the special kush in the 10 half a gallon, the mk ultra 1 gal, 10th planet's both got half a gallon I think but I mightve given the big one a whole gallon and chem dog got a half gallon. Once Temps stabilize watering will be more consistent. I need to factor in the change since they are floweringcas well. I've seen some enormous locusts that I've chased away. I don't SEE the thrips but they are there. I killed ONE adult this morning. I haven't seen any sep leaves in a while so that's a bonus. Pink kush is far behind the rest in flower.

It worked! After 30 days away, I returned home to see if automating the first 30 days of this grow using the Blumat watering system and automated fan from AC Infinity worked. Day 36 - I defoliated quite a few large fan leaved and did some LST to expose some flowers to light.

Week 2 (Veg) – Day 15 Kickoff & Substrate Steering Week 2 is officially underway! The main photo captures the entire canopy status on Day 15 (Sept 10). I will be continuously updating this entry with more notes and photos as the week unfolds. Environment & Lighting: Main Light: Mars Hydro FC3000 EVO dialed to 50% power (~362 µmol/m²/s PPFD, DLI ~26 mol/m²/day on 20/4 schedule). Supplemental Lighting: Mars Hydro Adlite Blue runs daily between 11:00 and 15:00 for a mid-day blue spectrum peak to maximize stomatal conductance and keep internodal spacing compact. Climate: Stable 26.5–26.9 °C day / 22.4 °C night. VPD dialed in at 1.0–1.1 kPa using a passive air intake from the basement buffer. Having the LED driver mounted outside the tent keeps thermal management effortless. Irrigation & Rootzone Steering (ATOMIK v6.0): Sensor-Guided Dryback: Monitored via the Mars Hydro CA59 soil sensor. Allowed moisture in the outer zone to dry back down to 5.7% Sub Hum to maximize rootzone oxygenation. Feeding: Perimeter feed applied (400 ml per plant in a 15–18 cm ring) calibrated to EC 1.20 mS/cm and pH 6.1. Sub Hum bounced back cleanly to 7.6% with zero pooling at the base. Stem Mounding: Mounded fresh moist coco around the bases of the stems to eliminate leaning, provide mechanical anchor support, and encourage adventitious root development. Day 36 / Week 6 Issues, Solutions & Defoliation Log 1. Issues & Root Causes: Acute Ca/Mg Lockout ("Formula 1" Effect): Pushing metabolism to the absolute redline (DLI 55, CO₂ 1200 ppm, 29°C) triggered a severe root zone acidification down to pH 5.5 alongside high EC (2.5). Heavy potassium cation competition combined with acidic media blocked calcium and magnesium uptake, causing necrotic rust spots on the leaves within 4 hours. *Dehumidifier Failure: The 12L dehumidifier was overwhelmed by peak transpiration from four mature plants in coco, dropping air and Leaf-VPD well below safe thresholds and stalling the transpirational pull. 2. Implemented Solutions: Substrate Reset & Buffering:** Flushed the pots with an input EC of 1.5–1.9 mS/cm cut with tap water to introduce a natural bicarbonate buffer. Runoff stabilized right inside the ideal target window for bloom: pH 6.1–6.3 and EC 2.2–2.4 mS/cm Climate Recovery (30L Dehumidifier Upgrade): Installed a heavy-duty 30L unit, bringing humidity down to ~54% and holding air VPD at 1.44–1.50 kPa, which delivers an ideal Leaf-VPD of ~1.25–1.35 kPa Light Intensity Relief: Dialed PPFD down to ~520 µmol/m²/s (DLI ~37 mol/m²/d) to halt photo-oxidation of damaged leaf tissue and allow vascular recovery. 3. Defoliation & Lollipopping: Under-Canopy Strip: Stripped the entire lower third of foliage directly up to the trellis net line. Pruning Non-Productive Growth:** Cleaned out all shaded popcorn/larf bud sites and removed necrotic leaves damaged during the lockout. Airflow Tunnel Established:** Created an open air channel underneath the canopy and around the elevated fabric pots, preventing stagnant humidity pockets and redirecting full hydraulic pressure to the primary top colas. Day 38 Netafim bow instaled. Day 39 Mastered pH stability. It was dificult but now runoff are pH 6.1 ec 3.5 No lockouts. Happy Day 42 Swapped out the empty CO2 bottle today after running dry on Day 41. Dialing in relative humidity and VPD in a fully sealed room has been quite a challenge, but parameters are finally locked in: temperatures consistently above 28°C and VPD rock-steady at 1.4 kPa. Really hoping it stays this stable now, as constant swings in humidity and VPD are far from ideal for the plants. Just hoping no other equipment dies on me like the dehumidifier did 6 days ago! Canopy is looking strong and ready for peak flowering. Netabow watering a great.

Dec 7th: One plant doing fantastic, one is more sensitive and I’m don’t everything I can to get the most out of it, lesson learned, start more and keep the best.

Week 5 veg - clones and Week 3 - Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seed Co.) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from seed. G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas topped with 2 clones each taken from cuttings to propagate placed in 2x2 clone/seedling tent with low LED lighting. Temps in low 80F w/60% ROH. Clone cuttings covered with sandwich bags used as humidity domes. After taking cuttings transferred G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas to 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Black Cherry Gas clone, Blueberry Cupcake, and French Macaron from seed remain in 2x4x5 AC Infinity under Spider Farmer SF-2000 with dimmer set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Continued twice weekly IPM foliar treatment with Organishield as well as watering soil program (SP).

Week 8 there hasn’t been any drastic changes for either of the girls. Girl #1 is looking better and better each day. Girl #2 is just being as stubborn as can be. Girl #2 still hasn’t showed any signs of flowering. I’m gonna continue to be patient with her she’s a very late bloomer. I can’t believe she’s been in veg for 8 weeks.I know some of you expert growers have experienced a long veg similar to my experience.Not sure if it’s good or bad luck just yet being my first run of autos. I have to admit. When i saw this week coming to The end and girl #2 wasn’t showing signs of flowering, I got down face to face with her quietly whispering (You better flower soon or it’s time for the trash can 😂😂) lol 😆 I had a weak moment was very frustrated. I thank all of you that have shared your information cause without it I would have been panicking. I’m gonna be patient and let the plant tell me when she’s ready. Everything has been running smoothly. I have given both girls light bloom nutrients. I have learned so much and it has been a pleasure watching the magic happen. Man the smell is so fucking strong☠️ Also the resin has increased a lot!! The buds are smaller than I would like but It's fine we will solve that problem in the next grow!!

New microscope came in, just in time to start checking trichs on CP. I never realized how hard it is to keep a steady hand for a proper shot, so hopefully I’ll have better focused shots soon... Appears they’re mostly clear, I like that couchlock high so I’m going for mostly amber but maybe partial harvest? I don’t know. Comments, suggestions, opinions, all are welcome here. For now I can wait.
