Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. The past week I have adjusted the RO to contain 1.1 EC for the AH and the runoff is a bit lower. Don't know if this is a good thing or not. I have also increased the fertigation to 1,5 L twice a day. I have set up the AC infinity inline Quiet T10, but the carbon filter has not yet arrived. Overall all ladies are looking good. some minor Potassium, Calcium, and Phosphorous excess and deficiency are shown on a few leafs, but I think it's nothing to worries about Day 68-70- the FB and SK were really taking off, especially the FB. omg they are beasts. I need to water them 3 times a day now. due to the Bud rot I have found(see week 12) om the AH, I've decided to do some defoliation- big time- A lot of small nuggets(or popcorn's?) were in the bottom of all plants, also so many fan leafs that no air was circulating the plants. Also due to high outside humidity I was struggling to maintain- but was several times around 65%RH I think I've got it under control now. the weather has changes so RH% is around 45% outside. and I have the windows open to cool the garden as well

Week 18 Middle August : weather is changing. Return of heat and humidity: 28 degrees, a little bit rain. A heat wave is coming but near the ocean the maximum will be around 32 degrees. It’s good to grow in greenhouse during this period : -ventilation control: I adapted the rythme: for now it’s around 18h/24h intermittently -pests and diseases control: insect’s traps natural and artificial, less heat -humidity control: no rain problem Daylight 14h: 7h/21h Flowering time 😁. Healthy plant, beautiful green color, just a few yellow leaves on the base. More watering: 1,5L every 60 hours Same cocktail: Calmag (0,5ml/L)+ FloraGro (2ml/L), FloraMicro (2ml/L), FloraBloom (1ml/L) + Root booster + Cannazym Feeding soil with guano bat (NPK 3/6/10) for a slow dispersion + dried horn and blood (NOK 13/0/0) for nitrogen add. Protecting plant: sprayed Neem Oil, added diatomaceous earth on soil. I will make a defoliation soon.

By the looks of things they appear to have between two and three weeks to go from now on no nutrients will be used on them only pH water .they have been growing very big and huge with very big buds hybrid looking flower with an incredible nice aroma. I just wanted to mention a note for my readers and is that the weeks that the breeder give as time for flowering starts not when you flip the plant to 12 12 hours but when the first flowers appear you start counting as Week 1 usually it takes two weeks for them to start flowering I thought it was an interesting note to put out there so when you are buying seeds you take that into consideration. I harvested this plant about a week ago. Gd was suffering some update issues still, but appears to be resolved. The plant grew great. I am impressed with the results myself. Nice big colas of frosty goodness. She bounced around a bit in growing under different lights. The results were great. I was even running the flowering light lower since she stretched a little too close to it. That was probably my biggest issue during the grow. I am anxious to try it once I get it processed. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's also beginning to increase in height about an inch per day now and has great color and vigor. 6/2- Yesterday I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet with 2 cups of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 1 cup of Down to Earth Bio Fish along with 1/2 gallon of worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments into the soil by hand, I watered it in via garden hose with straight well water. 6/4- It rained hard yesterday, so I skipped watering the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo today as the ground was still pretty wet. 6/6- The last two days have been sunny and warm so I watered the Papaya Sherbet photo with straight well water from the garden hose today. Another week gone by for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and I'm looking forward to next week, as well as the weeks that will follow to see how this lady progresses! On day 81, the plant has shifted resources into bud development and the results have been beautiful, the plant has also flourished with low doses of nutrients in order to avoid nutrient stress. The buds are sticky to the touch and give a slight citrus and cherry/raspberry smell, with continued purple transformation of the plants cells.

Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. This soil has nutrients premixed into it. I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients, with the exception of ferrous sulfate, will be dry amendments premixed per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. I didn't fill these pots above halfway with soil in the case we had heavy consistent rain. Half a pot dries faster than a whole one. I will be filling these pots completely as soon as these get more height and the rain lessens. Day 1 we had heavy dew and it was mostly cloudy. Day 2 we had a heavy dew in the morning. That afternoon we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued overnight. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. Day 4 we had a rain shower late morning, but the sun came out mid day. Day 5 early morning 2-3 a.m. we had very heavy thunderstorm. The rest of the day was sunny and cool. Day 6 forecast was 5% rain that became 100% thunderstorm. There was heavy rain and wind on day 6 for about a hour from 9.30 a.m to 10.30 a.m., then a second round later that afternoon. Day 7 turned out very good. Lots of sunshine and a light breeze that'll help dry out that soil a bit. These soaking wet conditions we experienced this week are something cannabis seedlings survive with difficulty. I've found fastbuds genetics withstands these conditions consistently where other brands have total failure. We had a very successful week considering all of the difficulty with the weather. Fastbuds genetics have consistently withstood the harsh outdoor environment here in the Ozarks. These girls are pushing two inches and are thriving.

01/01 happy new year start of a new week here. Top dressed with craft blend, pushin p, and ocean blend, and 2/1 mix of buildaflower and castings .and watered in rootwise goodies just 3 gallons also raised vpd to 1.2 and ppfd to 550-600 depending on the spot. 01/02 remembered to shift the hours down to 16/8 definitely gave em to much light for to long looked pissed before lights out. Also have been adjusting light height and power to get the ppfd I want and temp. Think I got it dialed in now. Just keep tucking for now 01/05 For some reason wat I logged the last few days is now gone from here... yesterday I watered in 17 gallons total 3.5 of that in the middle with supplemental stuff. I should have kept it at 14 gallons cus in slightly over saturated in the bottom but it should be fine. Did a pretty aggressive defoliation and tucking to open up canopy and under side of plants.
