D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

- RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF
D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

- water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

Der Grow:
Die Buds entwickeln sich sehr schön.
Der Geruch wird auch immer stärker, irgendwie hat es was von frisch gemahlen Kaffee.
Ich laufe der Woche habe ich alle Blätter bis zum Netz entfernt.
Triebe musste ich keine mehr entfernen, da ich dies schon immer wieder gemacht habe, sobald sich welche entwickelt hatten.
Oberhalb des Netzes habe ich nur ein Paar Blätter entfernt.
Die Pflanze ist durch das Netz schon sehr offen und das Bud Blatt Verhältnis ist auch sehr gut.
Daher kommt für meinen Geschmack, überall genug Licht hin.
Bis jetzt verkraftet die Pflanze die 1000 PPFD sehr gut.
Mit der Living Soil von Couple of Plants bin ich auch sehr zufrieden.
Bis jetzt gibt es keinerlei Mängel.
Auch keine Cal/Mag Probleme.
Bei meinen früheren Runs mit Organischem Flüssigdünger hatte ich hier immer wieder die typischen Rostflecken.
Dieses mal nichts.

Man I'm in love with this strain, very strong sweet odor, amazing aromaband the flowers are very hard and dense like rocks, I'm very happy about this lady, just what I expected coming from seedstockers! Stay tuned for more until we finish! 💛💚❤️👨🌾

Week 5 already? Plant is struggling to catch up after such that two week lag period where it didn't do a thing. Still, things are starting to get encouraging so now watering every day at 2 hours after lights on.
Added a webcam to the tent to watch what is happening. Noticed that at 12 hours after lights on, the leaves would start to wilt. Flooding at that time didn't have any noticeable effect before lights out, so I added a flood at 9 hours in (half the period). Pushed the wilting back to 14-15 hours after lights on, and just a little now, but still not completely solved.
Grew from 2 inches to 7 inches this week!

Happy New Year!!!
Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked.
The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction.
I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis).
I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO…
“Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.”

If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Your comments, feedback and recommendations are very much appreciated!

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent.
Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either.
I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios.
The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure.
When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

She seems to be overfed, showing yellowing here and there. I might have messed up the Ph because I did not adjust fhe ph of nutrients mix. I assumed it was ph corrected. Now, I am adjusting the Ph and reducing feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers next week.

Week 8 Flower
Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦
It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better.
She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing.
A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update!

I started her directly in the soil of my Grow on the Go. I really didn't pay that much attention and once I cut the Lemon Cherry Cookies I just had the pot outdoors on Campground. Of course hiding a plant on Camp Grounds is not ideal conditions and the intension was to grow a plant outdoors while travelling.

Aprovecho de comentar que estoy cultivando con LED APOLLO 4, al inicio comencé con los 3 interruptores encendidos, fueron pasando los días y estudiando, leí sobre que la LUZ AZUL, se utiliza mas para vegetación y tiene como beneficio que acorta los nodos. Por lo tanto apague todas y deje solo encendido el interruptor de VEG, así estuve 1 semana app y hasta que finalmente llegue a un video de 60 min del mismo creador de estos LED APOLLO. En este video el personalmente recomienda tener en FASE CRECIMIENTO: VEG+FULL SPECTRUM. Al momento de iniciar FLORAZION, deberíamos encender también el interruptor de BLOOM. Por lo tanto, los 3 interruptores encendidos al mismo tiempo hasta la cosecha.👽
Srta. Nesbit fue plantada una semana después, producto de que una de sus hermanas fue degollada por el cable del humificador, el cual le cayo encima la primera semana.😪 Mónica estaba creciendo lento, al momento de sacarla de la maceta sus raíces eran pequeñas y arrugadas, quizás tenia algún problema... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MONICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Lo positivo es que Srta. Nesbit va creciendo como avión y es la que se vio beneficiada de lo que aprendí en las primeras semanas con sus sisters. Incluso me atreví a ponerla en un vaso de plástico para después hacer mi primer trasplante, espero no romper el pan o comérmelo 😆 es su tercera semana, por lo tanto el trasplante viene pronto 😯

They are going amazingly not had any work need as they have done it for me just done some defoliation to them so I could open them up to show of their amazing structure
A is growing like a Christmas tree
B has split herself at 3rd node and again at the 5th and theirs a new nodes popping up in the middle and it looks like she going to split again
C went sideways ways when she started and give herself 3 main head's and now pushing new nodes everywhere from the bottom

Day 91 - Getting very close to the end now. Some parts have been harvested already when I see an amber trichome. Those are in the dry net.

Was a bit worried in the first weeks of flower as the buds formed early but... i was left with the most densest of buds literally hard like arnie in his terminator days lol! I didn’t quite get the amount I expected but defiantly enough! Will defo grow again!
After time went on she developed so much frost literally like diamonds 💎
Resistance was very strong on this one too and drank so much more than the rest had to be smart with watering! I’m the end the result was as intended can’t wait for the next couple of weeks for the flavour to really come out but as of now really reminds me of skittles as you can taste the sweetness but also that cake 🍰 comes right through too and this is before a full cure. Happy growing buddies I say this one is a top one to grow!
Added a few photos since cure! These buds are dense and colorful and fruity! Tastes like it smells until you get a lovely bit of cake come through! Heaven!
High is full body literally one point I felt it in my feet rose to my chest!
