well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. Moved these girls back inside this weekend. I started to see what looked like the start of bud rot outside. Its been cool and damp for the past couple of weeks and bud rot loves that. I cut off a couple of branches which showed signs so I would not bring any indoors (fingers crossed). I'm going to chop and dry 2 of the plants this week - once I'm sure there are not anymore signs of rot. The third plant still needs another week or two. The video shows my upcoming grows also. Ok let’s go! She’s doing so amazing! She’s catching up at such a fast rate! I guess that’s brand new genetics for you plus that added Zamnripper umph combined force lol I trimmed away the lower leaves off her and she loved it appreciated it and boosted up! Dynomyco is obviously doing it’s thing too helping her get to canopy! And with help of the new light TSW2000 from mars hydro it will be a better outcome! I continue to give her a little spray a few times a day only lightly but it helps with the low humidity! I am in 2 minds with the flip! Like do I wait for this to go 4 weeks at least or just go for it so I’ll decide very soon! As that’s in a few days lol so she’ll be 3.5 weeks! So should be alright!

Day 30: Just got back from vacation, left the girls on their own for 4 days. Watered before I left, came back and they look fine. BL is at 19cm and PB is 10cm. BL's stem is getting thicker, and stray spiders and ants are becoming more and more attracted to her. Odour is still weak and no signs of flowering. I may have to keep an eye out on her leaves starting from now and consider adding some liquid fertilizer. While I was on vacay I kept them at 12/12 artificial light. Usually I give them 3hrs of supplemental sunlight on the windowsill. Day 33: The foliage is starting to show signs of nutrient deficiency, spotting on the top leaves and yellowing on the bottom leaves on both plants. I'm adding a low dosage of orchid fertilizer and a bit of chamomile tea. Will also sprinkle some coffee grounds to the top layer of the soil. (7PM: I am seeing white pistils come out! Thinking it will start flowering very soon.) Day 34: Sprayed with a neem solution last night night and turned on the fan. Removed the yellowing leaf, looked like a powdered mold growth, and seeing if the spots are from bug meals. Hoping that the fan and the neem will reduce bugs. Day 35: The white spots definitely look like bugs taking bites out of the leaves. I'm going to spray her with neem daily and look out for critters now, and do all the rest of the household plants too. Started doing LST on PB as well. Looking forward to seeing BL enter her flowering phase as she is clearly pre-flowering now. Day 36: Might have been a bit too intense with PB's first LST session, she needs some recovery. Good thing I can just keep her in vegetative for a while. Neem spray went well, no new leaf damage. BL has done her pre-flower stretch. Will be able to keep these girls pretty small. Landlord may visit this week so I'll have to hide them.

Great performance so far, few fox tails but I have reduced light intensity and increased air flow so have seen an improvement. Lots of white hairs for flowering still, looks like it will be a big plant and a good growth. Looking forward to see next week's growth!

I start by saying that the genetics of this fantastic and super plant, the only exemplary because I was given after ordering, the first time I cultivated this variety .. I never had any problem from germination at the end of harvest, made grow for 6 weeks approximately with light hours 18/6, then kept in bloom for 10 weeks ...... and from about 10 days to dry with temperatures between 19/20 degrees, and humidity rate to 50% between today and tomorrow I'll make a nice manicure.

Hung to dry will come back to trim and weigh later

Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Spray evolution one's a week

Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are filling up more and the first pistils start to get brown, which shows the plants start to ripen and go towards harvest time. The smell they exude is STRONG now and VERY PLEASANT. The aroma is sweet, peachy with sandalwood undertones and is MOUTH-WATERING. The plants are TRICHOME MONSTERS and are covered in crystals, any little touch and your fingers stay sticky for hours.
