yesterday I did a major defoliation of the mid and upper canopy, getting noticeably more light penetration. I also visited my local hydroponic store this week and purchased me a liter of power si bloom. overdrive and moab. not going to start the MOAB or overdrive till week seven. I’m very curious to what my overall harvest we will be seeing that this is my first grow and all. hopefully everything is going good so far I can’t notice any deficiencies myself if anybody else sees anything feel free to let me know, thank you

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

-Grow is going great. Swelling up -I've been dropping the temps and humidity down during lights off. The temps don't drop below 66 degrees and I try to bring the humidity level down to 30-35% several times throughout the dark period. -Starting my flush. On my hydro plants, I will be using florakleen and hydroguard in water with a ph level of 6.0-6.2. -Flushing the plants in coco with ph balanced water and blackstrap molasses for the remainder of the grow. A nice experiment to see what difference it makes.

Hello Diary, Milky Way F1 has completed its second week of flowering, a total of five weeks since the beginning of the vegetation. Although it is the beginning of the flowering phase, Milky Way F1 is full of flowers that develop really fast. The shape of the plant is usual, the main cola rises dominantly above the rest of the surrounding branches, which have all reached a similar height. If all these wounds are filled with flowers, I will be very very pleased. Some leaves dry up or turn yellow, so I mostly remove all such occurrences. This week I added supplements to both waterings. The first time I put the Easy Bloom Booster tablet in 7 liters of water and the second time I added Bio Flowering Booster. The conditions on the farm are good, the humidity is lower than 50% while the temperature is around 27, 28 degrees. Here is a quick overview of the week: 30/05/2023 - Day 31. Watering. I added one Easy Bloom tablet to 7 liters of water and lowered the pH. on 6.0 I watered all three plants with that amount. 02/06/2023 - Day 34. Watering. This time I added all three components from the Bio Flowering Booster kit. I also watered all three plants in the Box with 7 liters of water. 03/06/2023 - Day 35. Having cal mag issues going to hit the grow store tomorrow am and see can I get some organic cal mag and see if that helps other than that no real issues 2/24 I’m going sit my dumb ass down and chill I did a defoliation and man I over did it I think it’s pretty aggressive and i don’t know what I was thinking I was just clipping away 🤦🏾‍♂️…… anyway got some calmag for the color issues only going 1/2 tsp see how that goes hopefully when the new growth and more stretch happens it’ll look a lot better I’m also bottom feeding the calmag hope that works too

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Sorry for the long time no update. Work got busy and I haven’t had the time to update this. Flower has gone pretty smoothly and the girls are getting ready to finish up. I have 3 bubba pupils in the tent at the moment, with a reservation privada purple wreck, freedom of seeds Godberry, and a serious seeds AK-47. The bubba pupil phenotypes look to be all the same. Low yielding with some extremely resinous quality buds. The smell is funky and grapey. The bubba pupil buds look like they’ll be all finished up in about 1 week to 10 days. Most of the trichomes are milky, and I have yet to spot any that have turned amber. The purple wreck is starting to purple out and probably has 2 weeks and some change left. The Godberry is probably the most resinous plant, and looks like it will be the second heaviest yielder next to the AK-47. The resin on the Godberry is extremely fruity, and leaves your fingers smelling like a bowl of fruit loops after plucking a few fan leaves. The AK-47 is the fattest bitch of them all. Big colas everywhere across its canopy and they’re falling over because I did not install a trellis on this grow. The AK-47 has an old school funk to it, and has around 5% amber trichomes. I’m thinking I will start to flush her at the start of week 8 (in 3 days) and let her finish up at a full 8 weeks.

Let's go. Started a couple more of these I had. The last time growing them I thought they'd make an exception extraction strain for fresh frozen rosin. The flowers where nice and pungent smelling but not to dense. Heavy Yileder as well. Will see how they do this run. All In all Happy Growing.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and overall looking good still but have a ton of bracts/calyx that are not throwing out pistils. They seem to slowly be coming out on some but looking like I’ve got a ton of them without pistils and no buds actually forming, not sure if I’m explaining it right, all still fairly new to me. The only thing I can think to do is just let it ride for awhile longer and see what happens. Day 73 - Looks like a few more bracts/calyx’s are starting to open and show more pistils. Some have thrown out a single pistil and started to shrivel already. She’s got a lot of milky trichs but still think she’s got a good couple of weeks left, hopefully she’ll fatten up quite a bit. Ended up giving her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today as well. Not sure why I didn’t research or why I didn’t think of it but she’s definitely foxtailing so hopefully cutting off one light will help slow it down a bit or something. She’s nice and frosty and stinky so not too worried about any ill effects from it but still not happy. I’m sure a combination of lights, a little heat and a screw up somewhere on my part stressed her out too much. Oh well, every grow is different and is a learning experience. Day 74 - Still chugging along and even though she’s foxtailing, she’s starting to open up more and throw pistils. Other than that, not much else happening with her. Day 76 - She’s still chugging along and not much to really update today. I know she’s foxtailing quite a bit but just letting her go to try and get as fat as she can. Still a lot of clear trichs and bright white pistils so a bit of time still left. She’ll need some water tomorrow for sure. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and I’m probably gonna give her another week then possibly chop. She is just about all milky and just don’t see her fattening up much more. I did give her one more round of nutes today but that’ll be it until the end and just straight water from her on out. If I see some fattening up, then may let her go longer. I may possibly do a partial chop and then see what happens with the lower stuff.

Bumped up the nutrients this week. not by much, though. Just enough to top off. I prefer to make gradual increases and underfeed rather than overfeeding. To me it's easier to correct problems of underfeeding than to correct the problems from overfeeding.

All girlz are growing super fast and healthly. I'm so confused now on who's who. I know all four plants look alike divivded into two. I think the two very light green plants is Banana Kush and the other two is Zkittlez. I am so done on raising four plants in this tent, all future grows will be limited to three.

Because I have iridium and copper in the water, the ph meter fluctuates due to breaking bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen. The fluctuation range I see is between 6.4 and 6.9 so I’m reporting 6.6. So far, I don’t see any negative effects of the iridium & copper on the plant. The soil base is Happy Frog, Coast of Maine, Mushroom Compost and Super Soil.
