Harvested the Purple Lemonade. Smell of the flower is extreme! Most of the rosin is coming from the cuttings of the Tropicana Cookies. However, I have not been able to “cure” the cuttings of the other plants at a controlled 62% humidity, so this may not be a meaningful result. Thought a little more Anthocyan would surive, but i may have to press @ 160 Mikron next time, will try :)

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

Day 64 Flower (Day 106) Today is the first day of the 10th week of flower and I put on a powerful headlight and some magnifying glasses and closely inspected the right girl during the dark period, so the colors from the grow lights didn't fool me. Unfortunately, I found another couple of buds with bud rot. Soon I'll have to decide to harvest the plant now and cut my losses even though she isn't done, or I'll take my chances and let her go a while longer. I turned up my extraction fan, installed another circulation fan, and ordered a dehumidifier that will arrive tomorrow. I'm hoping that all those measures will bring down the humidity in the tent (unfortunately, I can't do anything about the temps) and prevent further rot. I will let her go another few days and see if any additional rot pops up. Fingers crossed that it won't. The left girl is just doing her thing, but it doesn't look like she will fatten her buds. I guess all that stress in the tiny tent was too much for her. No matter what the result of this grow will be, it certainly has been a great learning experience. Day 65 Flower (Day 107) Things are looking good for the right girl as I haven't found any more bud rot yet. Turning up the extraction fan certainly helped, not only with the humidity but also the temperature dropped. Not by a huge amount, but I'll take whatever improvement I can get. Today the dehumidifier arrived as well, and I put it in the tent right away. The humidity in the tent has now dropped from the high 60s to a much more suitable mid-40s, and I hope this will be enough together with additional air circulation to prevent any further rot. I looked a bit closer at the trichomes today and found that most have gone cloudy, and I finally found some amber ones (about damn time!). I'm aiming for around 20-25% amber in this harvest as I'm hoping for a relatively "heavy" smoke - one of those frying-pan-to-the-head kinds of smokes suitable for late nights. Day 66 Flower (Day 108) Still no signs of more bud rot. Fingers crossed All I did today was to mix up some more nematodes in water and then feed each girl with 3 liters of it at ph 6.4. I'm not sure it was necessary for my main tent as the fungus gnats seem to have died out by themselves. I put in a new yellow sticky trap yesterday, but it was still empty today, and many dead gnats were lying on the tent floor. I have no real idea why, as I don't use any pesticides, but maybe the gnats really don't like this new low humidity in the tent. In any case, I'm just happy that the little buggers are gone. Day 67 Flower (Day 109) The bud rot is still staying away, and I'm getting hopeful that it will stay gone. All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water. She was a bit thirsty as I had the irrigation turned off for a couple of days due to the nematodes I gave them yesterday. I've now turned on the system in each tent and will just cruise along until harvest. The girls are already way over time, but most trichomes are cloudy, and I've started to see some amber here and there. Although, not much of a fade so far. Day 68 Flower (Day 110) All I did today was snap a couple of pics. It's all just a waiting game at this point, and I hope it won't take that much longer. I'm ready to cut the girls down and have some time off before the next season is here. I plan to grow a couple of photo CBD girls in my main tent and maybe an auto in my smaller tent. We'll see. But yeah, first, the current grow must come to an end. It looks like the left girl is starting to get her fade on, so there's that at least. I didn't bother looking at the trichomes today, but I'll have another look in a day or two. Day 69 Flower (Day 111) I didn't do a single thing with the girls today except snapping a couple of pics. What I did, though, was to make a smoke test of the right girl. Let me explain: Earlier this week, I had to cut off four buds due to bud rot. Out of those four buds, I saved two small tops after trimming off all rot (as well as plenty more just to be safe). I left those tops on the tent floor, where they dried in only a few days, and yesterday I decided to try a smoke. Naturally, I can't say anything about taste as this weed is dried the worst way possible: fast, hot, and in the light. On top of that, it's not cured either. That being said, holy smokes, batman! This stuff kicks like a mule, which is why I didn't post this last night already. I was too stoned to care. Precisely the effect I was hoping for from this harvest: properly stoned and incredibly lazy. Boom! Day 70 Flower (Day 112) Today was the last day of week 10 of flower. Not much exciting is happening this late in flower, so it is primarily a waiting game at this point. I did remove the irrigation system from the left girl and will hand water her instead. That cheap system I had was too erratic, and I'm better off without it. Plus, I hope that she will be done soon-ish. She will never win a beauty contest due to her scraggly foxtail flowers, but I'm still happy to get something from her considering all the stress she went through. The right girl has been doing fine all week, and no other bud rot has been seen since I fixed her environment. I rechecked the trichomes today, and still hardly any amber in either girl. I'll let them go for another week, but then it is time for the chopping block. This grow already went a lot longer than planned initially, and it is time to bring it to a close soon.

Week 12 kicking off and she is getting chunky still, will be another couple weeks before she is done. Definitely the higher yielding one of the two. Coming up on the end of the 12th week and she is producing new bud sites still. I had to cut off a 6 inch side branch that grew in and started preflowering but was a small branch and would not have time to finish. Not sure what brought on the flower bursts, but she is chunky! And she smells like fruity pebbles so that is awesome!

The cookies gelato are doing good getting frosty but has a way to go for sure and they are drinking a lot and i spilled a lot sometimes getting to back plants but luckily Tray Keep Clean a removable waterproof floor tray to hold soil and fallen leaves. Another smooth week as the girls continue to do their thing, buds keep stacking up & putting on size. NL & DD-OG have some super solid, dense, sticky & Big buds. GG has done really well this grow, really bushy produced heaps of branches. Only problem with this strain is the thin weak branches can't support much weight & as buds get bigger the branch just falls over, I super cropped a few branches as they were over 3 + foot high & were hitting the light, this helped to strengthen the branch others bent over & grew horizontal, like they were in a scrog, which it would be perfect for. GG is getting some nice nugs, different to the NL & DD-OG not as dense , grow a little different but some nice super sticky buds😀👍

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. The plant is stretching very fast. It's very healthy. Besides being the smallest plant in the grow, she is doing well.

She looks absolutely awesome, has come stronger since the supercroping technique,she got the branches up again,and now she's more open and can get a bigger light penetration in all the bud sites,let's see how this wonderful lady performs,the aroma it's not too strong yet and the resin production is not too much either but smells very sweet,let's see how she performs! 💚🌱✌️💎
