She started very healthy and grew very quickly, we topped her once at the 3nd node (after 5 nodes), tied the main branches to the side allowing the bottom growth to catch up... we then toped each new top 1 time (after 2 nodes on the new growth), our goal is to creates 12 main top branches...we stripped the bottom 1/2 of the plant bare for now :)

The buds smell a little like standard weed not so special but that doesn't surprise me as the plant looked in bad shape almost the whole grow. Exited to see some return on the hash, will be making fresh frozen so that should be cool.

Week 2 went fast with zero issues from this strain it has become my favorite of current grows as of now based on structure, growth rate and it's overall healthiness. I have a feeling this is going to be a really nice plant by flower. I gave her her first worm tea this week and a foliar spray as well. Other then that I'm gradually pushing the light intensity daily hoping to reach my veg lights max output shortly without stressing it. Also rigged my light to move for me check out the video of it moving that mover cost me about 4 feet of tie down wire and that's it keep that in mind if your on a budget! You don't have to buy one if you get creative! Anyway I'm having a good time with this can't what to start training on the coming weeks. As always if your interested in Barney's Farm genetics or critical kush specifically or if your interested in organic/living soil grows follow me and let's watch her grow!

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

10/5: Comparing photos from the beginning of last week and today, it was pretty decent growth. If they were stunted from being in the temporary grow bags for too long, it wasn't too badly. --Blackberry I (I call her Halle), is really purpling up well, and looking like she'll be a single uber-phat cola...no branching at all..whereas her sister is all about the branches. --Wedding Cheesecakes are consistently big and vigorous. They'll probably be the best producers of the crop. --Orange Sherbets look like clones they are so consistent in shape and leaf structures. Kinda short compared to the other varieties, but nice and bushy. --Gorilla Cookies are also identical in plant shape, but two of them are a few days ahead of the other as far as pistil production goes. Also not a very tall cultivar, but many branches. --The late/stunted Lemon Pie is praying to the sun at all times and starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. The bigger LP is gorgeous..perfect structure, the other one is catching up, but my cat keeps defoliating her.馃槒 ---Strawberry Pies have massive sun-blocking fan leaves that require constant tucking, but they are branching well, and a couple of them are pretty beefy. The other SP is doing fine considering her crooked trunk and slow start. 10/6: Today I noticed 9 "lone" nanners on the nodes of the crooked trunk-Strawberry Pie!馃槯 No clusters.. just single pollen sacs here and there.馃え These plants have experienced no major stress at all...I'm keeping it like late-August upper-peninsula Michigan in the closet. 80f/50%RH 馃憣 Damnit...this is a new, stable strain, right??馃憟 I've seen no other SP diaries with hermaphrodites...just my fukt luck I guess.馃槚 I plucked them and will watch for more..and I guess I'd better keep a close eye on the other two SPs as well... I just got my wife a new 16 x 7 x 7 greenhouse frame with the green semi-translucent cover for her 4' x 12' raised bed...if i see any more sneaky nanners appear, I'll probably remove the plant(s) and move them outdoors to finish in there. I swore I'd not do any training this run, but while removing the pollen sacs I couldn't resist opening up and tieing down some branches on the hermie.馃し 10/9: I fed them.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong when it comes to the end of flowering. I've seen harvests with nice green leaves but for some reason my leaves are always yellowing and burnt by the last couple of weeks. I usually just chalk this up to harvesting time fade/fall coloring but I wonder if it's something I don't have right in my nutrients. Either way I only have about a week or 2 left of feeding, im going to implement Liquid Koolbloom the last week of feeding. The last 2 weeks of these girls I'll flush with just ph balanced water. Day 60 should be around January 8th which is my expected Harvest date so this will be my "New Year Harvest". Needless to say, I'm super excited! P.S. I added in another layer of netting to help support the really heavy buds forming. They feel super solid and thick as well as extremely sticky
