👽 Frosty’s Auto Freak – Woche 8 Und dann wäre da noch… das Ding. 🤣 Frosty weigert sich weiterhin konsequent, wie eine normale Cannabispflanze auszusehen. Die extrem schmalen, verdrehten und teilweise fast schwarzen Blätter machen sie inzwischen eher zu irgendeinem Gewächs, das man nachts besser nicht füttert. 😂 Aber unter diesem kompletten Freakshow-Wuchs sitzen mittlerweile richtig schöne Blüten. Besonders der Headbud ist deutlich angeschwollen und die Harzproduktion ist einfach brutal. Auf den Nahaufnahmen sieht man, wie dicht Zuckerblätter und Blüten mit Trichomen überzogen sind. Der Name Frosty ist inzwischen wirklich verdient. Viele Pistillen sind bereits orange/braun und eingezogen. Gleichzeitig gibt es noch einzelne hellere Bereiche und die Blüten scheinen weiterhin etwas zuzulegen. Ihre Buds wirken im Vergleich zur Malawi deutlich kompakter und massiver. Das dunkle bis violette Laub zusammen mit den orangefarbenen Pistillen und dieser weißen Trichomschicht sieht inzwischen einfach völlig irre aus. Und das Beste daran: Genau diese Pflanze war von Anfang an unser kleiner Sonderling. Hübsch? Darüber kann man streiten. Normal? Auf gar keinen Fall. Interessant? Absolut. 🤣👽❄️ Und ich glaube, gerade Frosty wird am Ende diejenige sein, bei der wir beim Trocknen und beim ersten Smoke am neugierigsten sind.

Flowering is on, two plants showed pistils a few days ago while third one showed today. I upped bloom nute dose to half strength preflowering. At the very end of day 27 rn. Got hold of some string and started LST around week 3, gently bending every few days and as it grows bigger, not touching any budsites. Tallest one is almost a foot high, curious as to how much they will stretch, they're supposed to reach a minimum of 3 feet so, yeah I guess we'll see :) Faint but distinct super sweet dreamy smell from the first one that started flowering

D78 - We're just starting week seven of flower, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. I'm thrilled with how they are coming along. The buds are fattening up, with a more intense smell than they had only a few days ago. I'm starting to see the first signs of fading, and the trichomes are clear/milky with an odd amber here and there. I estimate that chop day is a couple of weeks off, which would bring it to eight weeks of flower. ________________________________ D80 - Pics ________________________________ D82 - I have been stuck in trim jail so it has been a couple of days since I looked in on the girls. They didn't miss me though as everything is just humming along. They look and smell amazing, citrus and pine, and the buds are fattening up with each passing day. Some additional fade but not much, to be honest. ________________________________ D84 - We are indeed on the home stretch at the end of the seventh week of flower. The girls look great with only a slight fade until now. I'm starting to see some amber trichomes but want more before harvest. Judging from how the trichomes have progressed this week, I say chop day is a week off.

🌱 Wieder mal einen schönen Sonntag & zweiten Advent für die, die es betrifft 😊 🌿 Wochenupdate Die Woche war wieder bisschen was los… leider =D Ich versuche wieder alles so transparent wie möglich zu machen 😊 Zu Beginn habe ich meine Lösung wie gewohnt manuell mit hochwertigen Apera-Messinstrumenten kontrolliert angemischt und behandelt. Das lief auch immer perfekt, bis es leicht überhand genommen hat 😅 Ich habe locker 7-mal am Tag gemessen und dementsprechend anschließend gereinigt… Nach ein wenig Überlegen habe ich mich dann schließlich doch für einen Bluelab Guardian entschieden. Anfangs wollte ich nicht so viel in reinen Komfort investieren, aber mir persönlich wurde es einfach zu viel, weil ich zu oft wissen möchte, was los ist =D Letzte Woche hatte ich ja bereits erwähnt, dass ich den Stretch-Peak anhand der EC- und pH-Kurven bestimmen konnte. Das lief schon alles über den Bluelab. Da ich wirklich gerne datenbasierte Entscheidungen treffe, habe ich ab diesem Moment weiter fleißig runtertrainiert und die Werte beobachtet um den richtigen Zeitpunkt zum sortieren zu erwischen . Der Trend war dann aber erst mal, dass sie einfach wie verrückt weiterziehen 😄 Am 4. Tag bei diesem Messverhalten wäre es fast passiert… Der Uptake hat über eine Dunkelphase so dermaßen zugenommen, dass ich es mir nicht mehr erklären konnte (Peak-Messung × 2,5). Fakt war aber: Das Reservoir war von den Werten her wirklich in einen kritischen Bereich gerutscht und ich wollte das ändern. Warum das so war, dachte ich mir: kann ich auch später klären… schließlich haben die Ladys Hunger =D Also habe ich wie immer 30 L Top-Up berechnet, gemischt und auf etwa 4,30 mS/cm eingestellt, damit ich die niedrigen RESS-Werte wieder nach oben bekomme. Zum Glück habe ich auch meine Momente, man mag’s nicht glauben 😄 Ich habe random beim Abpumpen mal den Drain gemessen, weil es mir keine Ruhe gelassen hat – und siehe da: 1,9 mS/cm. Die Sonde hatte sich über die Wochen ordentlich in einen Wurzelballen geschoben und dadurch zwar konstante Werte geliefert, aber eben in einer Wurzel-Biozone und nicht im freien Draftwasser. Das klingt erst mal nicht dramatisch , aber wenn mir das nicht aufgefallen wäre, hätten die Damen rund 24 h in einem hochtoxischen Bereich gestanden… Das wären sicher ein Ordentlicher stepback gewesen... Und natürlich passiert das Ganze in einer Phase, in der ich ihnen so wenig Stress wie möglich machen möchte 😄 Ich habe jetzt aus grobem Filterschwamm kleine „Hüllen“ gebaut, die aktuell ihren Dienst tun und die Wurzeln fernhalten. Drain-Messen ist ab jetzt auf jeden Fall SOP 😄 Da der Guardian erst während des Runs eingezogen ist, konnte ich ihn leider nicht ordentlich verbauen.. 🌿 Pflanzenstatus & Training Zur Sicherheit gehe ich wieder Back to Basics und trainiere so lange weiter, bis der Rebound-Stretch sichtbar nachlässt 😊 Das sollte jetzt die Tage geschehen. Den nächsten Run gestalte ich hier definitiv anders 😄 Ich brauch doch meine Werte fürs Timing… Anschließend nur noch die Meshes bestücken, langsam am Klima schrauben – und wachsen lassen 😊 ⚙️ System Bis auf die Panne mit der Sonde läuft das System nach wie vor perfekt. Am Vorgehen mit berechneten, gezielten Lösungen hat sich nichts geändert 😊 800 PPFD 1,0 kPa VPD 700–800 ppm CO₂ im Durchschnitt 💚 Special Mention Da geht auf jeden Fall was 😄 Ich glaube, an dem Punkt kann man echt davon sprechen, dass sie durch ist. Day29F - still showing vast growth on buds, swelling and trichomes blossoming out. The colours starting to form nicely on the buds. Smells like a pungent caramel now. Day32F - This plant is so thick and strong, and can resist a dry and hot climate. For me this plant has been so easy, and she sucks up nutrients and loves it, 💪 Buds are getting dense and so sweet to smell. So fat and so many, I'm surprised on this auto 👏 well done again RQS. Day 68- Day 33F - the buds continue to swell and devolope. Trichomes flooding through now. Starting to see cloudy so will push for another week of nutes if she'll allow it after Friday, we'll see 😏✌️💚

The plants seem to be recovering a little this week, and the flowers are continuing to develop. 🌸🌱 I've brewed a 4-litre batch of BioTabs Compost Tea. For the brew, I used 15 g of Compost Tea and 5 ml of Orgatrex per litre of water. After 36 hours of brewing, I added another 3 g of Bactrex to the entire mixture. Each pot, containing four plants, received around 500 ml of the finished tea. 🌱 I also used part of the remaining mixture on some of the cannabis and tomato plants on the balcony, as well as a few selected houseplants. 🌿🍅? Something that has really caught my attention is the terpene profile developing on these plants. They are producing some very interesting and unusual aromas. At the moment, the dominant notes are fruity and sweet, almost like a dessert or candy. 🍬🍓 But in the background, especially in the after-aroma, tere is also a slightly chemical note that reminds me a little of glue. 👃🌿 I'm really curious to see how this develops. The terpene profile is only just starting to reveal itself, and it could still change completely over the next few weeks as the flowers mature. For now, though, I'm really enjoying what I'm smelling from this mysterious King Z. 👀🌱 Let's see what the next few weeks bring. 🤞💚

Last week of flowering, buds are big and fat. Delicious smell, it never became purple, but everything else was excellent. A few more days for perfect harvest.

Strawberry Pie is going to have a tough time this week, let's hope it survives, meanwhile there are signs of heat shock and sunlight, it's developing 3 point leaves and strange ramifications but maybe I'm wrong. D38 Defoliation, I hope I haven't overdone the pruning D41 First week of flowering, I think it couldn't have gone better, it's growing visibly, let's hope it's like this until the end, maybe shortening the timing, we'll see. on the contrary strawberry pie has stopped growing, I have to thank that she survived, who knows what will come out of her, I wish her a sweeter climate... D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.

🌱 Grow Diary – Anfang Woche 6 Blütewoche 3 Der Start in Woche 6 und damit in die dritte Blütewoche läuft richtig gut. Alle vier Pflanzen entwickeln sich prächtig und machen insgesamt einen sehr gesunden und kräftigen Eindruck. Der Stretch ist mittlerweile vollständig abgeschlossen. Dadurch lässt sich jetzt deutlich besser erkennen, wie sich die Pflanzen in der Blüte entwickeln und wo sie ihre Energie hinstecken. Die Blütenstände werden immer ausgeprägter und nehmen sichtbar an Volumen zu. Ich habe noch einmal vorsichtig Blätter entfernt, um etwas mehr Licht und Luft an die wichtigen Bereiche der Pflanzen zu bringen. Gleichzeitig wurden im unteren Bereich alle kleinen, wenig vielversprechenden Knospen entfernt, sodass die Pflanzen ihre Energie gezielter in die stärkeren Blütenstände investieren können. Besonders schön ist, dass sich bei allen vier Pflanzen bereits deutlich Zucker auf den Blättern bildet. Die ersten Trichome sind gut sichtbar und geben den Blüten und den umliegenden Blättern schon diesen typischen, leicht glänzenden und „frostigen“ Look. Für den Beginn der dritten Blütewoche ist das eine sehr erfreuliche Entwicklung. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem bisherigen Verlauf sehr zufrieden. Die Pflanzen haben den Stretch gut gemeistert und sind jetzt voll im Blütenmodus angekommen. Die kommenden Wochen werden besonders spannend, da die Blüten nun zunehmend an Größe und Harzproduktion zulegen werden. Fazit: Vier kräftige Pflanzen, Stretch abgeschlossen, Unterwuchs bereinigt und bereits eine schöne beginnende Harzproduktion – der Start in die dritte Blütewoche sieht vielversprechend aus. 🌱❄️

There are about 5% of thr trichomes that are amber. There are about 50% that are cloudy. She is getting close.
