11/30 - 12/5: The bigger Zenzations has the beginnings of a small apex flower. Both Zenzations continue to look great, but the big story is the turn around the Black Jacks have made. They've tripled in height in 2 weeks and have nice, long lower branching. Both Gorilla Girls are stretching well now and have huge fan leaves, so I think they've still got some stretching to do. I dialed back the lights to 13 hours of daylight on the 4th. 12/6: I fed them today.

Nice sweet smell... could say what strain it is because its from sweetseeds sweet auto mix 10 pk of the best.. Definitely going to enjoy this one ... Grow went well and fast 62 days flat...

Both got a light defoliation. The Skywalker is clearly in Preflower but the Afgahni wants to wait a bit longer... So both have a time for 8 Weeks i thinks thats not gonna happen 😅

Can't complain with another good week! More pistils are starting to turn orange and buds are looking good and healthy, I've got no burnt tips and so im guessing the nutrient mix is balance nicely after removing the silica after it kept reacting with the mix. Done another defoliation to get that light where it's needed, im very happy with these two plants as they are only my 2nd and 3rd plants I've ever grown. Thanks for stopping by✌️

Tag 63 Blüte die 10. Woche beginnt und die Damen sind fast soweit aber für es sind immer noch zuviele Trichome klar und die ersten werden erst Bernsteinfarben. Würde ich WPFF also Waschen und Liverosin pressen wäre jetzt oder in paar Tagen Ernte. So wie es aussieht dauert es also noch ca 10 Tage. Meiner Erfahrung nach sind jetzt die entscheidenden Tage wo noch viele sekundäre Stoffe wie Terpene und Cannabinoide geildet werden. Der Duft ist Fantastisch bei jedem öffnen des Zeltes. Da der Sommer mit der Hitze eine Pause macht kann ich niedrigere Temp. halten und schone noch die ganzen flüchtigen Terpene. Also ich habe wirklich viel Glück mit dem Wetter gerade. Die letzten Tage habe ich angefangen nur noch mit Wasser zu gießen, angepasst mit Canna CalMag auf (EC 0,5)(PH 6,0-6,2). Nur der mineralisch gedüngten Frozen Tropicana Cherry mische ich noch 2ml/L Canna Flush ins Gießwasser um Salze rauszuspülen. Den Drain halte ich gering. Es reicht mir wenn ich nur 5% drain habe (der EC ist da bei 1,4 und PH 6,1). Besser könnte ich es mir nicht wünschen. Canna Terra hat wieder einmal mehr als perfekt funktioniert. Die Ladies trinken auch noch viel auch das zeigt mir das Sie noch wollen und es noch zu früh wäre sie zu ernten. Jeder grower kennt das ja am Ende trinken sie nur noch sehr langsam und sagen dir ja Buchstäblich das es soweit ist. Ich finde es sehr wichtig die Pflanzen zu beobachten und nicht irgendeinem Plan stur zu folgen. Da wir in paar Tagen in Urlaub fahren muss ich wohl die Ernte und das aufhängen der Pflanze meinem alten Growbro anvertrauen genauso die Vorzucht des neuen grows. Ich hoffe das die Damen noch nicht trocken sind wenn ich wieder da bin. Aber da will ich hier keinen zulabern. Ihr könnt euch ja vorstellen wie das ist erade in den letzten Tagen nicht da zu sein. Zum Glück kann ich mich da auf meinen Kumpel verlassen er hat auch schon viele Jahre Erfahrung und ja meinen Grow Style ja von mir gelernt und fast 1 zu 1 übernommen.. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Another week, new Problems. On Wednesday i noticed that on the Special Queen one spot looked very weird. Instead of forming one bud on a spot, there were coming two buds out of one spot. After asking in questions section and google the problem, i found out that this is most likely "Fasciation", a mutation most likely caused by stress or bad genetics. Some people said it's fine and that it will get even higher THC levels, but most said it will have less THC, taste weird and that there will be most likely a high mold chance. So after some consideration i took the scissors and just did cut it off. Im really not in the mood to experiment with some mutant stuff right now and i just hope the energy will now go into the other branches instead. Also i did my last defoliation on Thursday. Maybe i have done too much of it, but that is how it is now. I have a good feeling that i will get good results and right now that is all which matters for me. You can ask 10 people and all have different opinions about it, so i just do it now as i think it's right. At least now i can see everything all right, so if i get hermies, i can remove the pollen sacs right away. Before that i couldn't see anything because of all the leaves. It was such a pain in the ass and took over 5 hours to remove everything. I can't open my tent on the left side and can't remove the plants because of the scrog, so i really struggled especially to do it on RG #1, my back is killing me now. Decided to do super cropping on two Branches of RG #1, so i can lower the lamp a little bit. Im out of stuff which i could put under the Plants to increase height, so the canopy won't get better / more even then this now sadly. I hope i did it kinda right. Im still kinda sad that they didn't stretch more, but it is what it is. As you can see on my picture there is a lot of wasted space on top of my tent, like 30cm. Next Veg will be longer for sure. After last week they now got BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 again for the second time. I think the plants look alright and as long as nothing will herm now, i think im fine for the upcoming last 5-6-7 weeks. Was feeding 2.5 2.5 1.2 per gal flora series with 2.5 calmag ph quickly dropped in run off to 4.7. Im guessing the florakleen had something to do with messing with the buffer. I thought the king tut looked droppy a few days after flush of couse i thought issue was maybe overwater. I skipped one water and over night all plants were much worse. Half the leaves on tut dried out and some on the alien tech. Read up and finally found someone mention to feed 1.3 to 1.5 gal per 5 gal in coco coir per event. I was feeding 1 gallon of water twice a day so went to 1.5 to 2 gal per event twice a day. Underwatering was the issue, cal mag in some, nutrient burn and ph. Ph going in at 6.0 coming out 4.7. I chopped the chem de la creme and the acid as they were not doing well or just stunted badly. Squanch Queen had a lot of calmag issues so added more. Eventually i ended up doing a 1/4 nute 2.5 calmag ro flush to get the ph of run off out of 4.7 range and eventually it has risen to 5.2 to 5.4 in time with .2 ec adjustments. Lots of problems. Have an ro buddy but am going to get a better system. Working on installing diy drain system.
