Week 1: March 21 2021 - March 27 2021 Seed sprouted and broke soil within 72 hours. Stem is a little weak and she has stretched a little bit, but leaves are big and look healthy. First time growing this strain, don't really know what to expect. Looking forward to the season ahead! If you have any questions, comments, tips, or advice, feel free to post below. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 4: April 11 2021 - April 17 2021 Great week with no issues. Lots of vegetative growth and lots of leaves. Overall, Trainwreck is staying compact but has stretched quite a bit over the last week, almost doubling in size. Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe 4/20. Cheers!

Week 6: April 25 2021 - May 1 2021 Trainwreck has recovered from the topping last week and has been really stretching and fattening up it's main stem. Plant has started branching out and looks healthy. Another solid week with no issues. Goal is still to get these girls outside by May Long Weekend, but I'm hoping the weather cooperates to get them out sooner. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 7: May 2 2021 - May 8 2021 Plant is doing well after being topped a couple weeks back and is branching out nicely. This one is the tallest of the plants I'm growing and looks a bit more skinny and lanky than the others. Leaves all look healthy but the spacing between internodes is noticeably bigger. Will be interesting how this one turns out once it's outside. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 8: May 9 2021 - May 15 2021 Great weather this week so the plants spent a few hours outside enjoying the sun. Forecast is looking good so plants should be outside in their final homes by next week. No other issues, just strong growth. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 9: May 16 2021 - May 22 2021 Moved Trainwreck outdoors on Monday, May 17, 2021 - Transplanted into 20-inch, 45 Liter pot (12 gallon) - Used a blend of Pro Mix Premium Potting Mix and Organic Black Earth topping soil Amazing weather this past week forced me to put the plants outside. Insane growth this week, Trainwreck is about 1 inch shorter than Blue Dream and Girl Scout Cookies. One interesting thing to note is that there is a side branch that is growing 3 nodes on it instead of just 2. I'm tempted to top it to see if I can get 3 branches, but I don't know if it will get enough sunlight. I'm also considering clipping it to try and clone it. Pretty bizarre, I've never seen a plant grow like that. Other than that, things are looking great. Plants are extremely happy and loving their new homes. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 10: May 23 2021 - May 29 2021 We got rain on Friday and temperatures dropped to 2 degrees (35 F)! Covered the plants with garbage bags in the morning and then removed them on Saturday. Luckily, it was only one freak day and the weather is back to normal now... Only in Canada... 😂 Plants were a little shocked, showing drooping leaves and bent branches, but they seem to have bounced back after the weekend. Trainwreck is doing well, growing nice and even and staying pretty uniform. Will probably top her this upcoming week along with Blue Dream and Girl Scout Cookies. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 11: May 30 2021 - June 5 2021 Topped Trainwreck on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Clipped the main two branches around the 5th node. Did some light defoliation on the bottom of the plant, and removed a few fan leaves in the middle to expose more growth sites. Plant is starting to bush out in the middle, but branches at the top haven't grown too much. Made the mistake of feeding nutrients a little too late in the day and we had a bit a heat wave this weekend... Frost and light snow last week, heat wave this week... 😅 A couple leaves have shown signs of nutrient burn, but overall the plant seems okay. I flushed her a couple times and gave her half dose of nutrients this week. Will keep an eye on her, but I think the worst is done. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 13: June 13 2021 - June 19 2021 Trainwreck really transformed over the last two weeks and is looking great. She is getting as tall as the other plants and really pushing out new growth and branches. For a while, this plant seemed like the runt of the litter, but she has grown in nicely. I love the shape she is building. No problems with this plant this week. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 15: June 27 2021 - July 3 2021 Hot, rainy and humid this week. Now that it's July and the plants are a few months old, I have switched over to stronger nutrients to give the plants a boost in P and K. Figure this will help as the days get shorter and the plants continue to transition into flower. Noticing a few yellowing leaves so it looks like that plants need a bit more food. I will slowly increase the nutrient dosage weekly and keep monitoring the plants. Trimmed and cleaned up the plants again over the weekend. I should have better pictures for next week's update. Trainwreck keeps growing and is looking great. Nothing else to say, really. Very happy with this plant this year. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 20: August 1 2021 - August 7 2021 Noticing a lot more dying leaves so I decided to switch to higher quality nutrients. Flushed out the plants and introduced General Hydroponics Flora Series, and GH's version of CalMag. Made a 4 L (1 gallon) mixture and fed it across the 4 plants in my garden. I realized this was not enough and a few days later I tried 1 gallon for just one plant. This seemed wasteful because a lot drained out the bottom of the pot, so I'm doing half dosage in 2-2.5 L (1/2 gallon) of water and feeding twice a week now instead of once. Let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 21: August 8 2021 - August 14 2021 Nutrients seem to be working well, I can say that I have noticed a difference in 2 weeks. Trainwreck has hit 5 feet tall and I hope has finally stopped stretching. All the other plants have started to flower but this one looks like it's still making leaves. Hoping she switches sooner than later, but overall she is really healthy and looking great. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 22: August 15 2021 - August 21 2021 Super hot and humid this last week with no rain. Been watering the plants almost daily. Decided to clean up and defoliate dying leaves near the bottom and center, and did a bit of lollipopping. Last week of veg for Trainwreck. She is finally starting to push out more pistils instead of leaves, but she keeps putting on height. She is by far the tallest in the garden, hope she has just as impressive yields. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
