Week 11: May 30 2021 - June 5 2021
Topped Trainwreck on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Clipped the main two branches around the 5th node.
Did some light defoliation on the bottom of the plant, and removed a few fan leaves in the middle to expose more growth sites.
Plant is starting to bush out in the middle, but branches at the top haven't grown too much. Made the mistake of feeding nutrients a little too late in the day and we had a bit a heat wave this weekend... Frost and light snow last week, heat wave this week... π
A couple leaves have shown signs of nutrient burn, but overall the plant seems okay. I flushed her a couple times and gave her half dose of nutrients this week. Will keep an eye on her, but I think the worst is done.
Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
Looking great over there! Our plants are looking very similar in size and shape!
What are you using for soil and nutrients? I am using ProMix BX, worm casting, and Gaia Green 4-4-4.
Cheers and happy growing!π½π
@Zorachus, For soil I have been using Pro Mix Premium Potting Mix with a blend of black earth topping soil. For nutrients, nothing fancy, just a couple brands from the local garden centre that have different NPK ratios for veg and flowering. When it comes to nutrients, I find that less is more. I always start with at least half dosage, and always dilute with more water. If the instructions say mix in 2 L of water, I will put in 3 L. It is easier to deal with a deficiency, than an over-abundance or toxicity. The plants will tell you if they need more food, and then you just increase what they get. Hope this helps. Feel free to drop a question or comment any time, and good luck with your grow! Your plants are looking awesome, dude! Keep it up!
