Youngicons 1st Transplant took about an hour. Last year I had 3 plants and this year I'm doing 15 times that. For this 1st strain. I have about 18 strains but this was the most abundant allowing more room for error since I skipped 2020 growing season. Very excited for the challenge ahead. Few plants that are taller than others, most are around the same height with a few shorties. Support needed on several plants that aren't standing straight on their own. I may have had them in the starter pods 1-2 days too long. Live, Love, Learn.

Youngicons I'm noticing that some of the plans are growing at different rates and so the ones who are growing slower probably experience more trauma during transplant is my only guess. I've been reading more about the temperature of the water so I am focusing on that but the thermometer I got doesn't read the best so I'm going to get a new one here soon. For now I'm trying to stick between cool and lukewarm water to the touch.

Youngicons After the 3rd week and noticed about 15 plants weren't growing so I got rid of them. There are still a few that aren't nearly as big as the majority so I'll give them another week or 2 and if no improvement I'll get rid of them and only the strongest will survive!

Youngicons Transporting tomorrow to final pot of 2 gl. Going to use happy frog. However I think I need some nitrogen cause I'm noticing some leaving starting to yellow. Also I am throwing out another 8 plants that haven't grown since last week's post.

Youngicons I did final transport into 2 gl fabric pots with happy frog soil. I've increased the watering to 2 cups every 48-72 hours with a nice spray to get the leaves and the top soil. I also bought this grey container that you add water to and it feeds your plants CO2 for 2 weeks. There are some plants that are 9 in but majority is about 6 3/4-7 1/4 in tall. They seem like they will be bushy. And lastly some of the leaves on 2 or 3 plants are curling inward so I'm curious to understand what's going on. I haven't gotten nutrients cause the soil has enough for 30 days and by that time it will be 4 weeks left in grow and switching to flower so I may use some the 1st 2-3 weeks after veg and flush the last 1-2 weeks.

Youngicons This week I topped 6 plants, pinched 9, & left 5 alone. I still know some will be male so I'm looking closely every day to see the 1st signs. I moved the 12-14 inch plants away from. The middle light and I noticed 1 of the 14 inch plants has started to root through the fabric 2 gallon.

Youngicons After this upcoming week of veg I'm switching to flower. Although I like the idea of having so many plants I am considering following through with my survival of the fittest and only keeping the plants I can tell are hungry and growing. I have noticed that some aren't growing as fast anymore and I have a lot of strains to plant after this.

Youngicons Switching them into flower after 8 weeks of veg. Going to get some nutrients this week as well. I decided to downsize and keep the biggest strongest plants and adopting out the rest.

Youngicons Week 1 of flower complete I got rid of 4 males this week. Down to my final 6 females whom I will be harvesting this season. Started with 45 seeds this round. I bought some flower fuel 1-34-32 I'm going to be using starting week 2 of flower to help these girls produce. I'm having trouble controlling the humidity so I'm getting a new dehumidifier this week. Also wondering if I should get a bigger tent for these 6. It's only a 2wx4lx5t

Youngicons Week 2 of flower and they have grown fast. Incorporated flower fuel and calimagic into their watering. Definitely getting a bigger tent. They are about to explode I can tell. I had one grow too tall and started to burn from the light so I'm trying to learn more about scrog and hst to help this grow flourish. I also removed a few fan leaves that were dying and some others to allow more light to the bottom.

Youngicons I ordered a new bigger setup as you can see. Switched from LED to HPS. Although it has a significant heat output diff, I can tell the plants love it. I also noticed I developed some fungus nats in the soil of the smaller plants. I finally got a soil meter to help me know more exactly when go water which should rid the fungus nats if I'm not over watering. Lastly, I'm going to scrog this week. I know I'm doing it rather late but it's a learning experience and I'll start sooner next time. Will be a lot of weaving. And I'm still deciding if I should cut everything else below the screen.

Youngicons Got my screen of green out of this week. And I am loving how well the plants are responding to it. It wasn't quite as tedious as I thought it might have been having to leave the plants. I'm still debating on cutting off a few of those lower limbs although they do have some bud spots on them it's probably going to be some smaller popcorn buds. Also I believe they drank more water last week than they have so far which I guess is congruent with their growth. I'm noticing on one of the plants some of the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow, I'm using calimagic, but I'm unsure if there are still some nutrient deficiencies. Also I still see the fungus gnats so I'm going to buy some stuff this week the soil just doesn't get dry enough before I need to water it again for them to be gone.

Youngicons I've taken all I'm going to take from below the scrog. Buds are producing nicely. Haven't gotten what I need for the fungus gnats yet. This batch looks like it will produce a higher quality flower than my last batch.

Youngicons No nutrients this last watering I did today. Flushing for 2 weeks then harvest time! I've done the last of my defoliating and looking forward to starting a new batch in a few short weeks.

Youngicons 1st week of flushing has made some of the the plants have purple appear on the stalk, leaves, and even the tips of some parts of the flower. Been looking more into good drying and curing technology to ensure a fine finished product. 1 more week of flushing then harvest.

Youngicons Last week of flower complete. This grow was a good learning experience. I'm ready to start my next batch of seeds later this week. Also I will be harvesting this plant today and when it dries I will make one final update to showcase the flowers. Thanks for joining me, see you next grow!
