thebiologist After 60 hours in wet paper towel the seeds had grown a shoot of approx 150mm length. They were then moved with tweezers into Root Riot propagation cubes which had been soaked in water pH 5.8 and hydroton clay pebbels I kept the humidity around 65-70% and lightly sprayed small amounts of water onto the surface of the basket nets daily. After the first bladed leaves were growing I used a syringe to top feed 20ml of weak nutrient solution (0.3EC/150ppm) to top feed each seedling. I did this twice this week with 48 hours between each. The baskets are in a tray filled 2cm deep with weak nutrient solution pH 5.8. When there are a healthy amount of roots coming through the basket and that are long enough to all reach a resevoir, then I will move them into a resevoir. Until then I will continue to top feed for the rest of the week to make sure a big root network has grown through the basket net. Please note the 660w LED is dimmed to 25% which is approx 350umols per second.

thebiologist Top watering around egde of basket daily Checking root growth out of the basket is going well, adjusting water level if needed. I have only top watered them for the first 2 weeks while suspending them far above the water resevoir (a full 10cm or more). I wanted to see if this would encourage multiple roots to grow out the basket in search of water and it did. The pictures show the difference it has made for the plants. Four of them are bigger and healthier looking than the one with only a couple of roots reaching out. Low nutrient strength currently (0.6 EC, tap water - 0.1) Leaves have an unusual shape. Not sure if its just this strain or if they are a bit off whack. Planning to keep all 5 plants in the oxypot veg 6 until fully 3 weeks old maybe a little longer if they are still small.

thebiologist In week 3 the growth whilst in the oxypot v6 continued to be ok but when I topped it up with nutrients issues started. Brown spots between the leaves, dying leaves and "squished" growth of the stalks. Obviously what I should have done and will do in the future with the veg6 pot is give them a fresh nutrient solution when I transfer all the plants to their own pots. This was a bit of an experiment to see how long I could grow plants for in the oxypot veg 6 before needing to move them into their own buckets (the answer appears to be between 2 and 2.5 weeks). Day 1 pictures a number of issues can be seen I am hoping that after a few days in their fresh nutrient solution they are alright. Having serious difficulty with humidity and night temperatures at the moment - Im running two humidifiers but the humidity struggles to get over 50% and I don't understand why. I have tried adjusting the extraction fan to be higher or lower but it does not seem to make much difference. Keeping the room temperature at night above 18 and below 22 is difficult. I'm adjusting the house thermostat and radiator valve constantly to try find the sweet spot. TECHNIQUES Topped above the 5th node and trimmed lower, dead /dying leaves.

@viriato0811, added more. They are only 14 days old at the moment. They might be a bit slow because pH and humidity wasnt always optimal

Good luck with your grow bro! I am really looking forward to the photoperiodic variety of this strain. My autos did wonders using the autopot system and your hydroponic setup looks great! 👏
