Koekie90 A bit slower than the others, but it's all good🌱 Update Day 8: Watering well daily + growing on coconut, so started with minimal nutrients (grow + root stimulator). Pre-growing with 16 hours a day under the lamp (22 degrees) + 8 hours dark (15 degrees). I'm doing this to prepare them for the outdoor temperatures.

Koekie90 The root system is still developing in Jiffy, so I'm giving it a bit more time before repotting. Nutrients increased to 1ml root stimulator and 1ml growth nutrients. This is for all the plants together. (I'm taking it slow since they are still small) The leaves are lightly misted with a spray bottle. Update 13/04: The dog has nibbled on a few seedlings. Luckily, OG is still around! 🀞 She's been repotted into her new home in week 2. There's new leaf growth on the way, but she's taking it easy due to the not-so-optimal temperature outside. Starting Saturday, it’s only going to get warmer, so we’re looking forward to it! β˜€οΈ Nutrients have been slightly increased (1 liter + 3ml growth nutrients + 2ml root stimulator), still divided among all the plants. Soon, I’ll also add a drop of Supervit.

Koekie90 OG has been outside in the greenhouse for 2 days now, making the temperature much more pleasant for the seedlings, allowing them to start growing and rooting well. The nutrients remain the same, and I've also added a drop of Supervit once. She's staying nice and compact, and new leaf growth is on the way🌱 Every now and then, I put her outside the greenhouse so she can feel some fresh air, which can strengthen her stemπŸ‘Š

Koekie90 OG is doing well, she's spreading out and the leaf growth is nice and even. I will probably train her once she’s a bit bigger, then I’ll update my diary about it. 🌱 She enjoys the sun daily, it's warm days here. 🌞

Koekie90 Had some issues with the pH level, which probably caused incorrect nutrient uptake. My plants were getting lighter in color and some leaves even turned clearly yellow between the veins. πŸ˜• I'm assuming this was the problem since I gave them tap water for calcium and magnesium, but it didn't lower the pH. Today I tested the pH of the tap water with my new pH meter and it came out at 7.2, not good for coco. I immediately switched back to rainwater, which came out nicely at pH 5.8 with nutrients. πŸ€™ Hoping they recover, will update. Luckily, the growth is going well! πŸ’š Update May 11: 2 plants showed magnesium deficiency due to previous pH issues with a broken meter. You can still see this in the photos between the veins. In the meantime, I supplemented the coco with kieserite (magnesium) and no Epsom salt because I find that a band-aid solution and prefer to work long-term. After having flushed the pH and substrate issues, I'm now also building up nutrients again. πŸ‘Š The plants were outside in a greenhouse, but I couldn't control the humidity (it stayed above 80). They have now moved to their new home, my shed where I always grew. The outdoor greenhouse was a test, but it's not a good option. πŸ˜’ In the photos and video, you can see that they are now living much better. 🌱 Update 14/05: First letting them recover from magnesium deficiency. Started fimming + LST. I like to lay my plants flat. πŸ’š

Koekie90 It's been a while since I posted an update, I've been a bit busy. But this is turning into a crazy plant! πŸ”₯ So far, she's responded really well to the fim and low stress training!! I'm really curious to see how she'll end up in September 🀞

Koekie90 Babe is going smoothly, low stress training continues. Every now and then some trimming, so she doesn't develop extreme leaf growth. Once flowering starts in August, I'll let her grow completely on her own.

i think u F the fim. u cut too high.
Koekie90
Koekie90 commented5y ago
@Protector, Fimmen has gone really well, it has recovered nicely too. If I were to cut lower, I would just top them. I've done this before: upside_down_face:
Koekie90
Koekie90 commented5y ago
@Protector, She has recovered perfectly and there are 5 branches formed on the main top. I fim more often, so I know how to do this pretty well. If I had cut lower, I would just top them, that's not the intention.
