4th Grow - Organic Autos Again

The start of my 4th grow and I couldn’t be more excited. Determined to correct the errors of grow 2 and 3. Biggest of which was getting complacent after my moderately successful 2nd grow. On the 3rd grow I didn’t bother keeping notes or having a written plan. And it showed, although not all harvested grow 3 well underperformed vs grow 2. So plan written down and in place, notes being kept, not getting cocky. I plan to run 3 strawberry pie & 2 gorilla cookies autos. Love both of these strains. - The blue cheese auto was a free seed which I am going to experiment on just for shits & giggles. I may even try grow her outside, we’ll see. Every seed popped up ok and seem to be going ok for the first week. 1 of the gorilla cookies struggled to get out the seed casing but is away ok now. Once they’re a little bigger (in a week or so) they’ll go into their final 20l pots with soil / castings / dry amendment mix. So all good in the hood. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

So second week done and just waiting on these little beauties to dry out a little before reporting to final 20l fabric pots. New soil mix made up ready to go in the next few days. Not a lot else to say, not messing with them, not overwatering them just letting go. No expert yet but they all look happy & healthy so far. All going to plan so far. Weed from grow 3 is very nice. 1st 4 days of this week was away for a long weekend. Despite going a little paranoid worrying about them they were absolutely fine (probably enjoyed the time with me not fussing over them) Even managed not to water them the second I got back but rather waited until they actually lightened up. Which I think they’ll actually be ready to be watered tmw. Really happy with the way they’re all going so far. Interesting observations are, GC2 seems to be a bit of weird one. Looks like a ducksfoot pheno. I have got one or 2 of these from Fastbuds not a huge fan. (That being said it’s entirely possible I mixed up seeds and this is actually the freebie seed. Will find out later I guess). And SP2 is just a little sluggish / droopier / less reactive to light compared to the others. Not overworrying will see what happens. All are pre-flowering just starting to flower. So all good so far, Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

So week 6 over and looking strong (for me) All but SP2 looking healthy praying to the light. Stretching nicely and starting to get some decent frost on GC1. It’s normally at this point I start to struggle. Last time was top dressing too late and they all yellowed up. But top dress in wk5 followed by another this week & a compost tea. That’s it still smoking my homegrown delicious weed from grow 3 with zero cash and time spent on wankstain kiddy dealers shitty weed. - definition of happiness. So week 7 down and this is the longest they’ve stayed looking this healthy. Finally avoiding under / over feeding them once they’ve used up all the nutes in the soil around week 5/6. This last week just a top dress with a locally sourced 2/8/4 organic amendment. And not overwatering of course, I’m giving them 3/4L every 4/5 days when the pots are properly light. Seems to have done the trick so far. Pretty stress free. Only issue is SP2. Not sure if it’s just a weird plant or I messed it up somehow. (I’m going with plant error as the others are fine). Anyway it just didn’t stretch, at all. Basically no side branches and all it’s pistils are shrivelled up already, looks about a week away from harvest with these puny little buds. Weird little thing. Only keeping it going for shits & giggles as there’s still space for it in the grow. This next week more of the same. Have put swapped the 600w bulb in for the 400w bulb as I try and gradually increase the light. Still in plenty of weed from last grows. Still no money spent on wankstain kids selling me crappy weed. Bank balance transformed. Big smiles in this household. Thanks for reading, have a great week 😊

So all good this week, All are still looking healthy & happy apart from the weirdo SP2. There’s amber trichomes so it’s coming down on the weekend. Such weird thing so small & weird but matured really quickly. Gonna dry & then attempt to smoke it - damn straight. Who knows might be chronic right. Also just starting to see some yellowing on bottom leaves of SP3. Was planning a top dress this week anyway but may have left it a few days late. Still this is the longest I’ve kept them looking this healthy and I’ll know for next time so I’m still happy. The big drama this week was a giant fucken Hornet got in the tent while I had it open watering the girls. It was MASSIVE like bigger than my thumb. I wasn’t brave enough to deal with head on but gave it smack with 3 ft bamboo cane and ran out the room and shut the door behind me. I think it’s flew out the window and is gone. But that was 2 days ago and I’m still shitting myself everytime I open the tent in case it’s in there waiting to get me. Running out of the better we’d from last grow so starting to count days to harvest lol. All good though. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Week 9 down and all looking good. Highlight is the 2nd Stawberry Pie. Huge flippin purple & orange buds covered in frost. Very excited about her. Chopped the weird wonky strawberry pie which actually looked ready even more weirdly on D60. Nice dense purple buds, very small amount maybe ounce and half dried. Just had a sample earlier and get it made me pretty stoned so winner. All are now starting to fade which is good. Nothing but water when dry from here on in. Maybe a couple of weeks. New phone so struggling with labelling pictures. All good on the grow harvested 1 gorilla cookies on D66 and just took down the 1st strawberry pie easier on D71. This SP is highlight of this grow big chuck stinky bright purple buds. Delighted. Sampled the gorilla cookies and its dank hooray. Plan is to continue staggered harvest. And have already started the next run all on day4. Only issue this week is the rise in the number of fungus gnats. Convinced its due to higher temps in the tent due to it warming up outside. Thus demonstrating the need to upgrade to leds cut the heat out. Difficult to do at the moment with funds tied up in other projects. That's it. Thanks for reading, have a great week 😊
