Edit: The seeds were planted on the 9th, and by the 12th, they germinated and the heads broke the soil. The same day, the seedlings grew over an inch. I'm not sure this is cause for worry. In any case, I asked a question to the community.
Starting second 2021 grow. Germinating directly in Coco Loco this time to avoid stressing plants with moving to larger containers. I am using a smaller container to help fill with roots. I have plenty of extra seeds in case there's trouble germinating.
Conditions have been improving rapidly. To begin with, I noticed a significant increase in the germination rate using a more powerful light. During my first grow, I started with a smaller light, which germinated my seeds, but keep them small until I added a much more effective light. This go round, I planted directly into Coco Loco by Fox Farm, and had great success. The young plants are already outside hardening nicely in the rapidly improving weather we are having in Los Angeles. Yay!
I am not sure; this could be week 4 but I am having a hard time keeping track. Not much to say. The weather has warmed up, so the plants are spending more time outdoors. Tonight will be their first night outdoors. A heatwave is on the way. I plan on re-potting them in their 10 gallon pots after the weekend, so long as the temperature isn't extreme.
Maui Waui smells dank. This plant is true to form when it comes to being a nice sativa. It's short and bushy. The other plants vegged out, and I began mainlining to help them push energy and nutrients to the main nodes.
