Welcome to my Greenhouse Forbidden Dream grow.
I started this little lady inside a couple weeks ago and she made her way into the greenhouse this week as the weather is finally nice enough. I may have to run a heater at night to keep her happy but that’s expected for this time of year.
I am really looking forward to this plant. I wasn’t going to run her outdoor as she is likely gonna be a mid Oct harvest but I think I can keep her happy with the protection of the greenhouse. I am a little worried that this plant can double once flower starts so I will really have to control her growth!
I plan on main-lining this lady to keep her growth under control as I have height restrictions in my greenhouse. I was originally going to grow her out indoor but I have too much going on in my tent so I had to make room so here we are now.
This is going to be an all organic grow as I enjoy creating a nice healthy soil web and just adding water for most of the grow. I will top dress from time to time and I will also use teas. I have some tea recipes I have worked on over the past few years so I will be sure to share them.
Stay tuned folks. It’s going to be a long journey but it will surely be rewarding in the end. 😎

So this fine little lady is chugging along nicely. There have been some cold days and nights so the heater has had to keep things nice and cozy but she hasn’t minded.
She is growing quite quick considering the low temperatures and I expect I will have to start main-lining her witching a couple days to slow her down a bit.
Keep enjoying the progress peeps
Also, I must give a nod to Humboldt for these fine genetics. She is growing very vigorously considering the low temps she dealing with. I’ve had a few days we’re it’s only around 58 degrees Fahrenheit during the day with the heater going. Resistant genetics are always welcome in my neck of the woods.
Next time I post she should look a lot different 😏

Welcome to week 5
So I main-lined her this week. It was a bit of a shame to cut her up but it will help me manage her size and growth pattern in my limited space. This is my first time attempting this so hopefully I don’t mess it up lol.
And on the bright side I got 5 clones off her in the process 😅
Other then that it was a standard week. It has been rather cold in my neck of the woods this week so the heater has had to work a little over time to keep things warm and cozy for her.
Stay tuned. 😎🍿

Well this Forbidden Dream is chugging along nicely. The main-lining is coming along great for my first time with it.
The weather looks like it will be warming up in the coming week so I expect to see some nice growth as again there was some cool nights this week that kept my greenhouse heater working OT 😬 and likely slowed her growth a bit.
Bring on the Sun!!

I am loving this plant! She just keeps taking the training I throw at her 🔥.
I will likely remove some more fan leaves in the coming week and do a little more training.
I am super excited for this grow!!!

This Forbidden Dream is coming along nicely. The main-lining is working out well thus far.
The weather in my neck of the woods is finally turning the corner and the forecast looks great 😎. This should give the heater a much needed break 😅
I really cleaned up some fan leaves this week and she didn’t mind much 😏
The coming week should see lots of new growth.

Well week 9 was fun 😏.
I moved this fine lady into a 10 gallon pot. She will likely stay in it until sometime in July. It’s my custom organic Super Soil mix. It should keep her happy in a 10 gallon pot for a while!
I will be cleaning up more growth in the coming week. I topped her a couple of days ago so she is at the point where I have 8 tops now, well once I clean up the lower growth. I am aiming for 32 at this point in the game. I hope this enables me to slow her down a bit and control her growth as she can double when she goes into flower.
I have been making sure to treat her with Method 1 PPS (plant prevention spray) once a week. This keeps Andy would be moulds and pests the F off my girls!
Onward.....

I just love this plant. She is just taking whatever I throw at her.
I am at 8 tops now so need her to grow her out again and I will top again hopefully this week to be at 16 tops.
For my first main-ling experience things couldn’t go much better IMO.
Stay tuned for more tops

Another week with lots of growth! I had to trim off more growth this week and I started tying down the 8 tops. I will likely be topping in the next couple days to get to 16 😎.
This plant is just awesome. Super excited to see her keep growing.

This plant is pure gold. It’s incredibly healthy and while my other plants are starting to get attacked by thrips a bit this plant seems unaffected 😎.
I am up to 16 tops at this point so I have one more round of topping to get to the desired (32) amount of tops. After that it will just be maintenance and watching her in all her glory. I hope I can keep this lady wishing the limits of my greenhouse 😅.
Humboldt nailed it with this genetic mix!

This plants a queen. So healthy and she just loves the training. I can’t believe how nice this plant looks and how well it responds to anything I throw at her.
I will be taking some foliage off soon and topping one more time to get to 32 tops which has been my goal from the start 🔥🔥

This plant is gonna be a beast. She is up to the desired 32 tops so it’s just maintenance here on out.
I am thinking about moving her into her bigger pot but I might wait another two weeks perhaps 🤷. The final pot will probably be a 20 gallon pot filled with my custom super soil and I might add a couple spikes at transplant.
I haven’t had to feed any teas so my super soil has been keeping her happy which is nice. I have done a little top dressing but only a couple tbsp of Gaia Green all purpose and a couple tbsp of Kelp meal. That’s been enough to keep her super happy.

Another week has brought more new growth. She is drinking 4 gallons of water every 2-3 days now.
I think I will likely transplant her into a 20 gallon pot this upcoming week. I can’t wait for this plant to start to flower. Although I am mildly worried about her stretch. I have grown this strain before and it can double in size when flowering starts 😬. But I can always do another round of lst to spread her out and keep her low.
I will also be taking off a bunch of foliage in the coming days.
Stay tuned

It was a fairly busy week for this fine lady. No one likes their lady too bushy, right, 😉 so I have been cleaning up lower growth every 2-3 days as of late.
I also put her in a 20 gallon pot this week and that was a bigger challenge then I anticipated 😅😅. First I had to get her untied. Then I didn’t quite get her tied down as well as I had her in the 10 gallon pot but she is still nicely laid out IMO.
I may have to adjust how she is tied down in the weeks to come as these genetics can really stretch out!!
Stay tuned

I may have to tie her down some more but we will see how the stretch plays out.

This fine lady has entered into flowering with a bang. She is stretching out like a champ!! She is drinking 7 gallons every 2-3 days now. I will likely increase watering to 10 gallons soon enough. I have been spraying with OMRI fungicides every 3-4 days and I haven’t see any issues yet 😎
I may throw a little top dressing down (my own little flowering mix). We will see as the week goes.
I can’t wait to see more growth from this sexy lady.

This plant is a Queen!! She is super healthy and has stretched like a champ. It seems like the stretch is slowing down which is good. She is the perfect size for my greenhouse at this point. I can still work around her easy enough at this point.
The pistils are flying out now and she is likely to start developing the frost that we all love and admire 😀.
I am watering with 7-10 gallons of water every 2-3 days at this point. I didn’t get around to top dressing her this week but I will this weekend for sure to make sure she stays happy.

This plant is just gorgeous! She is really starting to develop nice bud sites. My super soil mix is keeping her super healthy and happy!!
I keep making sure to stay on top of her as far as treating her with OMRI fungicides. I made the tough decision to chop down my Mango Sapphire this week as she had a lot of powdery mildew starting. It was too close to this lady and decided the risk was too great.
I can’t wait to see what another week brings!!

Another week has brought more bud development and some nice blue/black/purple hues to the buds.
I did some top dressing again and also added some super soil and ewc to the top dress as well. She is a hungry plant.
I also watered with some Fish Emulsion this week. It stinks but the ladies love it!!

Finally getting around to adding the last few pictures before I took the Forbidden Dream down. I ended up taking it down a little early due to crappy weather!!
She was a pleasure to grow although I did get quite a bit of bud rot towards the end but the sticky weather in my neck of the woods did not help.
One takeaway from this grow was that mainlining is a fantastic way to train a plant and manage growth in a small space.
I didn’t get any pictures day of harvest which is unfortunate. She looked a lot fuller and ripe than in the pictures.

These genetics are best grown indoor from my experience. In my area the humidity proved to be too much and I lost multiple tops to bud rot. I usually don’t have that issue with the protection of the greenhouse.
As for the bud … it is very sweet and has some nice purple hues. The high is nice, it’s both uplifting and relaxing.
I would recommend this strain be grown indoors as it doesn’t like late season humidity. I have grown it indoor and it was much better!!
I didn’t get any cured up bud pictures. Just too busy these days lol. You guys get the idea though 😉
