So first of all, hello to everyone! I'm not an expert by any means but I have had a few successful grows and a few downright failures 😆 The successes I have had have been thanks to everyone who shares their knowledge and love on sites like this, so thank you! This is my first try using a "water only" soil method, Dosidos clone put in my 5g fabric pot on 4/2/21, Spider Farmer SF-1000D tent kit with a little desk fan in the tent. I'm using Nature's Living Soil concentrate, "super soil" method (reservoir of concentrate+soil on bottom 3rd of pot) bottom 3rd is mixed with Ocean Forest, middle 3rd is OF, top 3rd is 1/2 Ocean Forest 1/2 Happy Frog. All soil is with 30% (roughly) perlite mixed in. So I planted her soon as I got home, gave her a little water (spring water), and let her do her thing for a couple days. Heard of Recharge while I was waiting to see new growth, figured it would help the roots get comfortable, so I fed some at 1/4 tsp-1qt water. I also lightly tied down the sides at this point, on lunch on 4/5/21. As soon as I separate the pics I'll post the difference a day, and then 2 days, made! Awesome stuff. Over the last couple nights I've noticed growth taking off, the pics I posted are most recent. I did a little more aggressive of an lst job this evening, if I have them looking recovered in the morning I'll probably take a branch off the bottom. No plans to top or FIM anything, this will be my first attempt at a clone, 1st soil that I'm not feeding nutes, 2nd soil grow overall, 3 successful hydro grows, 4 failures (3 my fault, 1 cat disaster)

Can anyone tell me how much I should expect this strain to stretch when I flip it?

Do-Si-Dos will flower in 7 to 9 weeks and produce a moderate amount of product. This plant is generally of average height, but may stretch during flowering cycles, so indoor growers will want to give it plenty of room to grow. Buds are small, but quite dense and heavy. From what I know she will stretch a little more than cookies. Gl with your grow.

Getting good growth! Nice even canopy, was a little worried because stem was kind of stuff when I bought it, but its going pretty good so far! No major hiccups, recharge applied at 1/4 strength once a week so far, these pics were taken over the span of 4/10-4/16 (night of the 15th to be exact, dark period ends after I go to work). Thanks for the tips on stretch btw, I think I'll flip soon honestly, maybe 4/20....

Well, flipped the lights as planned! Bad news first: my clumsy ass broke my 2nd biggest branch directly off the stalk 2 days after flipping. Like a damn fool. That being said, this girl took off! She grew 4 inches since the holiday (4/20), and I've never seen so many pistils so fast in my life. I know I lost a good bit of nugs by breaking it, but I'm pretty optimistic about this grow so far, no signs of any trouble with this NLS concentrate as feed so far, I've fed bottled spring water and recharge (twice so far) only, and foliar spray with neem mixture (homemade) preventatively every 4-5 days.

So its been a hell of a week, you guys know butchered a big branch last week, well this week my a/c went out, my home ac. So I have a window unit that I was going to put in my room specifically to try and turn her purple, now its being used to keep my family cool, and my room is farthest from it, so I've had a couple crazy temps going on in this tent that would fell a lesser plant. 32c all day while I was at work the day it broke, 27ish in the middle of the day usually. With the exception of the 32, I think this plant is enjoying it!?! What the actual heck is going on lmao, I have a few (3 or 4) leaves that took a bit of damage from being hot, but I've noticed she's happier on days she spent most of the day between 27-28 and the night around 22, if my ac were working I would never let it get that hot, but she's a champ that apparently enjoys warmth!

Soooo. The extra warmth, humidity, etc, caused some pm early this week. Remediated with defoliation and neem oil, never defoliated in flower before but it seems to be doing ok, I took a few branches along with affected leaves, but the first swell seems to have begun! I have trichs! I have smell! As faint as it is, the smell is seductive lol, I got my first impatience of this grow when I smelled her for the 1st time 😂 I also got a new window unit so I wonder if its too late to activate some colors? I guess we will see! Until next week, happy growing!

So, things seem to be going decent, the powdery devil is ALMOST under control, but I feel lucky because it very well could have ruined my grow. So I've taken to removing anything that looks suspect, which has resulted in some unwanted defoliation. Aside from that, these buds are stankin with a capital STANK! I'm loving the swell, but worried that the amount of foliage I've removed may hinder her a bit. I guess we'll see. I did take an hour of light away from her, now 11/13 in an attempt to rush things along so I don't get screwed by the PM, fingers crossed!

This week has seen some fantastic growth... and some more powdery effin mildew. I'm highly (pun intended) debating harvesting this weekend, she probably has a couple more weeks, but I saw powder on my sugar, uncomfortably close to the calyx, and the branch in the picture with a lighter next to it is now hanging in my closet ( 7.23 grams wet, dense and sticky). Thrichs are about 50%cloudy/clear, so I'd like some more time. I sprayed with baking soda/neem mixture, if I dont see any tomorrow I won't chop her down lol. I DO have some blue dream auto seeds I've been itching to plant as well lol. BTW any advice is certainly welcome! I'm taking another hour of light away from her today for sure

I wrote all this in the wrong place because I've been smoking that early shit I picked 🤣🤣 (edit) smoking a j that I unjarred and set above my pc fan screen lol, flavors are already starting to come thru the taste of chlorophyll (which is still there of course), this bud is strong! My what could've been. When you're smoking it you're thinking, "hmmmm, thats not too bad", then you put it out and start doing something and a few minutes later you realize you're baked 🤣 the early (earlier I guess, as it was all early) pick was the same way but not as much behind it. This stuff will kick your butt! Nice head high at onset, super happy vibes, after around an hour the head effect levels and the indica side shows thru, no sluggishness so far. I like it lol
