Edenganj These girls are 5 days old under 16 w cfl. The one wrapped is only 2 days old in soil. The medium is a mix of mostly coco and some sohum soil. (Seeds are photoperiod)
The T5 17w lights have definitely changed their behavior, theyโre not shooting upwards in length no more. What do you guys think?
This is my first grow, I will be switching these girls to t5 tomorrow. Should I be concerned by their height? They will also be going outside into a greenhouse after 2 weeks inside.
You'll get stretch with cfls unless there within a couple inches of the plant. Useful light range with t5 is a little better but they can still be pulled in pretty close unless it's a pretty hot 12 bulb setup.
Edenganj Iโve started giving them some silica blast. They seem to be reacting pretty well to it.
What do yโall think?

Edenganj These girls seem to be doing well so far. How much water should I be giving them now? What nutrients should I be adding now? (I am using sohum super soil as the medium)
I have no clue what hardening is but for a plant of that size i would not exceed an nutrient level of around 0.8 so anywhere below that and you should be okay :) I would advise transplanting these into there forever pots as soon as you can quick you get that stress out the way the better. the more time the plant has to really fill its media :)
Edenganj What do you guys suggest I give them for nutrients, I have only been giving them silica blast in their sohum medium.

Edenganj I fed them again today. They havenโt been properly fed, this will be their first full feed. Hopefully they react well. Had some trouble with figuring out the nutes concentrations. Thanks to everyone whoโs aided me with this grow. Big up to yโall.

Edenganj They seem to be doing well. The past weekend has been cold and wet temperatures dropped as low as 7C. Thereโs a heater running in the green house at 28C.

Edenganj Theyโre loving the heat, even if I am not. Theyโve grown substantially within a week. I have been rotating the stem around the stem clockwise to train its strength. Anything else you guys suggest I should consider? Please shoot your advice my way.

Edenganj Starting to see some cal yes on both plants. Does this mean that I am entering my flowering stages? It was rainy today hence the wet leaves.
I am not sure what the spots are, can someone tell me why I have these brown spots on my leaves?

Edenganj The weather here has been very inconsistent so I decided to give the plants just some water to flush out some of the nutrients. They seem to be behaving well, however on the bottom leaves Iโve noticed some discoloration and bruising. Why does this happen, is it the lack of sunlight? My fans are getting pretty mighty.
Edenganj I have spider mites hopefully these lacewings will do the job well.

Edenganj Some significant yellowing a day apart from feeding. Did I give it a nutrition burn by changing the ratios of nutes? I probably shouldโve done a flush before feeding.
Your plant looks mostly fine. After transplanting/changing conditions they might take a little while to recover. It's fairly normal. You have nutrient issues though, I'm not sure what. And when I'm not sure what, I tend to neutrality. So I dunno the levels of your nutrients, but calcium is pretty much the main "buffer".
Often when transplanting, btw, the roots need some extra moisture for a day or two because they were disturbed/need to reestablish.
Iโve stopped giving these girls nutrition for 4 days, they seem to be responding a little better. Iโll wait for them to adapt to their pots and get back to feeding them. Iโve only been giving them some water. They both seem perky and healthy other than the discoloration. Thanks to the people helping, any advice is good advice.
An advice, once you are getting those night temps, add some wood base or plastic. The concrete can absorve a lot of heat and freeze the roots shocking the plant
