GrowCNanswered grow question 4 years ago That's really small for 7 weeks. Normally I would have started training already. One wire around the main stem down low to keep the bottom 3-5 cm mostly vertical and another wire to pull the upper part horizontally to the side of the pot. My plants are much younger when I do it and the main stem is rather flexible. At 7 weeks the main stem should be more stiff so you will have to go by feel so you don't break it. You don't have to do it all in one session. You can bend it a bit more each day.
Before you start training get some tape handy. I use black electrical tape but almost anything will work. When training gently hold the plant. If the stem snaps be careful to not snap it completely apart. If you still have some fibers connecting it together tightly wrap the area with tape to seal form a splint. Usually the plant will grow back together. Then after 2-3 weeks you can remove the tape so it doesn't choke the plant.
