Seedsman Seed germinated successfully on first attempt about 24-48 hours in a wet paper towel, inside a plastic bag. Transferred cracked seed into the Idoo sponge, tap root down. Pictures are of 3/31, start of germination in paper towel was 3/27.
Doing nothing but let the fan and water pump run 30 min on and 30 off automatically. Light is about 8-10 inches away, and on about 20 hrs a day. I used aero garden nutrients instead of the bottle shown in picture, just using that for a little scale.
Bottom shoots really making their way up to the top, only thing I do is situate the leaves around so the newer growth gets more light. Seems to be doing well! - additional comment - I went out of town for a couple of days and it shot up so tall it was hitting the light at the top, so I had to switch to the 100 w over head light and put the 20w off to the side for more room.
I’m not 100 percent sure what happened to be honest. The leaves started to get pretty droopy on me.. I’m not sure if it was either the new light being too hot, not enough oxygen in the root zone(pretty cheap pump in the hydro system), or if it’s just a genetic thing that started when flowering started. Idk. But it’s still living, and starting to shoot pistols off all the established shoots. So I wouldn’t say it’s going perfect, but we are still moving forward. I’ve only removed a couple of yellowing leaves at the bottom, other than that no training to the rest of the plant.
Definitely found out what the problem was, and it was too many nutrients. Same thing happened again when I added nutes again so maybe I was adding too many. Either way, still growing and flowering pretty nice now. Starting to look pretty nice, even though some leaves are a little yellowed.
