Hi everyone, first grow here so gonna keep it simple, going indoor, in soil & all organic. Going to use Terra Aquatica ( GHE ) organic line of nutrients + Mammoth P on BioCanna Terra Plus Soil and that's it. The plan is to make 2 huge plants, going to use OG Spring to achieve that ( hopefully ) as it seems a simple way to try LST. I germinated the seeds ( one of each strain ) in Root Riot cubes, both sprouted about 24 hours later.

Everything went well this week except that room was more dry and hot than expected, added some air humidifier and some stronger air extraction. Started easy with the first nutrients ( 10% less than manufacturer's chart ) and alternated with clear water until day 4. Being more careful now with temperature and humidity, and plants like it for sure, as you'll see next week ;-)

Second week of my first grow ! I struggled a bit with temperature and humidity during first week, so i upgraded the grow room and plants feel much better. Can't seem to find Terra Aquatica ( former GHE ) nutrients in the website database, but I'm using their full organic range ( Root Booster, Humic, Seaweed & Urtimax ) following their feeding chart, except that I don't use Base Growth Nutrient for now as BioCanna Terra Plus soil is lightly amended already. I also use Mammoth P Microbes, starting with 8 drops / liter. I moved the plants in 10 liters Smart Pots on day 12 and they seem to enjoy their new space !

Week 3, everything went quite well until day 21 : after watering both plants with nutrients, Choco started to show yellow tips. I did not know so much what do, @Randyr's advice pointed me towards Cal/Mag deficiency, but my growshop was closed for holidays and I realised same time that my tapwater's PH was much higher than what I thought. I decided to give both plant a watering without nutrients but with the right PH before I can go buy some calmag, but Choco's leaves continued to yellow at an alarming rate, while Mango started to show signs of deficiency too, but much less alarming though...

As you can see, many leaves on the Choco turn yellow day after day, even Mango shows sign of deficiency, but I started giving them BioBizz CalMag, which seemed to help a lot. Even though everything doesn't look perfect on Choco yet, it looks like she's getting better. Mango is turning very bushy and sturdy, she drinks a lot of water and nutrients, soon gonna be time for a bigger pot !

Growing nice and easy, fixing deficiencies the best I can, Mango seems very happy and grows very bushy, Choco is more on the sativa side so it's more tall & thin. On day 35 I moved Mango to 20L pot and on the next day made my first attempt at LST, did not go too much crazy fo a start but she seemed to enjoy it ! I keep on following Terra Aquatica chart of nutrients, with some extra Cal Mag and some Mammoth P as usual.

These 2 babies start to be huge, Mango grew even more big after moving her to a bigger pot. Choco is getting better but still not at her best, transferred her to a 20L pot too on day 40. I guess I'll give them an extra week of growth and put them in flowering after this.

Last week before I turn them to 12/12 !!! They are huge now, Chocolopez is more on the tall side, not much defoliation to do, when Mango is crazy bushy and needed some more leaf cutting. I could have waited one more week to turn them into flowerng, but roots start show out of the smart pot, and as I'm a beginner I was a bit afraid that they get too much big for my space after stretch.

Put my plants on 12/12 light schedule, and switched to pre-flowering nutrients chart, which is a mix of grow & bloom nutrients. They start stretching like crazy, still on the bushy side for the Mango, while Choco is more on the tall side. After a few days, both started showing some small hair, which means both are girls ( not a big surprise though, both were fem seeds ). I still take out some leaves from the Mango daily to giver her some space and air; Choco is not so bushy so I just took out some yellow / burnt leaves from the bottom of the plant.

Second week of flowering here, bud sites are appearing more clearly ! Both plants grow very good, as always Mango is strong and sturdy and enjoys every nutrients she gets ! Choco still show some yellowing leaves but nothing too worrying, as I defoliate her much much less than Mango. I'm a total beginner at defoliating, but I feel like it's giving good results, even though I try to be cautious and not take too much leaves at same time. One more week of flowering and I'll go for another defoliating session ! For nutrients, I just finished the pre-flowering schedule which is supposed to last for 2 first weeks of flowering, so I guess I'll switch to full Flowering nutrients from next watering !

Everything is going well for this 3rd week of flowering ! I switched to full flowering nutrients, both plants drink water fast and make more and more flowers everyday. I still defoliate a bit and make some LST, but mostly I let them grow by themselves

Hey ! 4th week of flowering here, everything is running smooth, buds pop up more and more; I still take away a few leaves making shadow to bud sites from time to time, and I tried to keep on LST'ing in order to expose more bud sites to direct light, using ropes for Mango, and sticks and ropes for Choco. Still following TA growing nutrients schedule, and adding Mammoth P every 2 watering.

Hey guys As you can see on this week's pics, this 5th week of flowering was quite frightening : for no reason, after a regular watering with nutrients, some leaves quickly showed some brown burns at the tips, but also in the middle for some of them. Both plants showed symptoms, and I was quite surprised as I did not feel like anything changed in the growth environment. Still my wife gave birth this week and I was bit tired, so mistake on my side is not to exclude ( but I water each pot with 4 x 1 liter bottle, so important dosing mistake shouldn't have happened ). I decided to give them a next watering without nutrients, but leaf burn and yellowing kept spreading, and still spreads slowly. I don't know so much what to do, buds still looking like they swell, but I'm a bit afraid this keeps on spreading, so I'm open to suggestions !

Hey, as you can see, this week ( flowering week 5 ) was a lot of tip burning and yellowing leaves, which is a bit frightening. I don't think I over dosed the nutrients, and I gave them regular treatment as every previous week. Any idea where it can be coming from ?

Looks like a potassium deficiency.

Hi there,I am not very sure but have to agree with gmslave. It looks like potassium deficiency. But before you take any corrective action, make sure your water pH, ppm(EC) and run off are in corrected range. If you are growing in soil, keep your pH around 6.0~6.5 for both of your water and run off.Check run off ppm and compare how much different between in and out.Good luck and Happy Growing... ✌️

As you can see on the pics, things are not going well for Mango... More and more leaves are burning everyday, and I cannot seem to figure out how to stop it, although I guess I have made mistakes with the PH of my water which might have been around 7 lately. Still quite surprised as Choco, which seemed weaker in the beginning, now looks more strong and resistant.

As you can see things are not going better for Mango, most of the upper leaves turned brown now. I decided to get rid of the most dry ones, which was maybe not the best idea as the burn kept on spreading to other leaves. I don't really know what to do, I tried to be more accurate with PH, I gave them a flush of water without nutrients but did not change much at the situation... I hope Mango is still gonna be able to give me some flowers, I'm around 3 weeks close to the end of flowering...
