Rap_a_cap Hey Friends, nice to be with you again. This year I've choosed to try some fast version strains from Sweet Seed hoping to finish the runs before October. Stay safe.

Rap_a_cap Adaption week. I'm still alternating artificial and sunlight, Little Skunk & Sisters began to taste, well protected, some hours of wind and night cold, the natural conditions that they'll find along the way. For now plant is responding to these constant variations by growing super fast and well without any stress. Good genetics. Sweet Skunk is the fastest of the batch.
10 days to transplant.
Just the days I need to finish her new permanent wooden greenhouse and to mature my homemade earthworm humus.

Rap_a_cap During this week Skunky has been stressed, due both to weather changes (now is turning hot and windy) and to my own mistake (overwatering).
She will be transplanted definitely in a few days.

Rap_a_cap Skunky suffered in her small pot, I was able to restore a balance of soil moisture but still moderate chlorosis started. Really these strains have a high metabolism. Great response to transplant now she's regaining her correct shape.
The Soil
This year I changed the composition of the soil a bit. In addition to the usual organically enriched soil, I added ProMix Soil, perlite and 6 kilos of humus made by earthworms farmed in volcanic gravel (souvenir of a trip to Vesuvius).
The Garden
Last year I often had to chase the weather changes, now I will play in advance. I built a wooden greenhouse with an ultra clear PVC roof, say goodbye to rain!
The Setup
All plants will be grown horizontally again for 1 meter because last year's no-topping choice is back in terms of bud weight and quality. Let's see how she will reacts to brand new home.
Ten days of hot sun over the horizon.

Rap_a_cap Perfectly adapted to soil now Skunky not only has it recovered from previous stress but is now accelerating even though the weather is not too sunny. Horizontal LTS starts today.

Rap_a_cap All is going fine, super hot week. Skunky doubled her size in two days. Alternate grow has started, this is a good sign for a fast flowering strain.
No issues, great LTS response, great heat resistance, strong genetics.

Skunky doubled again her size in few days. Lateral branches will be trained in few days.
My first impressions about Sweet Seeds strains is extremely positive, a good genetic research is clear here looking to how these strains rise up, no leaves deformations, an omogeneous grow pattern despite being three strains and three unique phenotypes. Also if u consider that temperatures are above 100 °F since ten day and no one of my three strains show the minimum sign of heat stress.

Rap_a_cap Sweet Seed is keeping its promise for now.
Hi Friends, this year's run and related diaries are poorer than last year's for the simple reason that the plants are practically growing by themselves, I just give them so much water, the sun makes the rest.
Sunlight: 14.59 hours of light
Highest temperature: 100°F
Humidity: 75%
Water volume: 2.4 galls a day
Skunky is growing well and she's in pre-flowering stage, in full stretching phase. No heat stress or other issues. Great plant. No need 4 feed.

Rap_a_cap Skunky is in flowering, first stigma is appeared. Sweet Seed kept the promise of early flowering. All my three girls share the same grow profile with an exceptionally early flowering.
Today exactly 14.41 hours of light.
Average week temperatures 80°F
High humidity, some stormy days. New heat wave is coming.
All is going well but this plant has absolutely no smell, until now. Starting to defoliate the bottom canopy.
No issues, no pests, no need 4 feed.

Rap_a_cap Skunky is doing well and fast. I love this short and bushy plant. Branches are thick and well formed but the smell is still weak.
If this continues and the weather will be good this plant will be ready before the end of August, as promised by Sweet Seeds.

Rap_a_cap I give her water and she grows gorgeously, this is the only interaction with this plant. If all plants grew like my skunky, without any issues or particular needs, GD diaries would be much poorer as this plant really grows by herself.
Less than a month to crop. Clearly classic and sweet skunk smell.

Rap_a_cap Completely insensitive to heat, Skunky is running towards the end showing superb genetics. Maybe she will be the smallest of the three. Strong skunk/chewing gum smell. No issues or particular needs to report. I'm plucking away not more than 3/5 leaves a day because is still hot and her metabolism is still accelerated.
Rap_a_cap Skunky gonna be a masterpiece, in quality and quantity. It remains only to say that I'm just irrigating it with osmosis water and that she smells like candies and bubblegum. 2 weeks to harvest.
I'm in full paranoid now, smell is strong so to mask partially the smell I'm burning mosquitos repellent all day. I'm not having fun anymore, wanna finish ASAP.

Rap_a_cap This is a strain that every grower should try at least once. No issues, no pests, not a single bug. It seems to stay in a candy store. Just few days to crop.

Rap_a_cap Mild and perfect weather.
Here we go!
It's a sin to cut down this wonderful beauty but she's almost ripen. See you ASAP for harvest update. I'm more than satisfied. Expected yeld 15/20 oz
ADVICE
THIS CULTIVATION HAS BEEN BLESSED
BY THE LORD OF WEATHER
.......... but now fuck off and let it rain........
Sweet Skunk is a very easy to grow strain and my expectations , in a perfect environment for growing cannabis like my garden, have been satisfied. According to the breeder this plant has finished its cycle as suggested by technical sheet, right before the bad weather.
I only regret not having waited another week, but frankly she smelled too much ....
SUMMARY
Total dry weight 303 grams
Sprouted April 27
Flowering on July 21
Harvested September 17
Flowering days 56
Start to flower by 14.32 hours of light
Total 130 days of outdoor cultivation
She has never shown any deficiency or particular need, never attacked by pests.
The last days I've found one stem-rot spot and another one on a top bud, no drama.
PROS
Early flowering
Extra short flowering time
Short and bushy
Typical skunky-like bud's shape
Good yeld
Solid genetics, heat and stress resistant
Smell & Taste
No need for curing
CONS
Smell
Don't grow if smell is a problem to you, this strain is insanely stinky, too much.

Rap_a_cap .
Sweet Skunk is an excellent choice for outdoor growing thanks to the very short and early flowering time. This plant is a little bit smaller than the standard feminized but, if well farmed, the harvests can be comparable, a load of premium Skunk
Thank You Sweet Seed, you kept your promise
Good luck Growmigos
Que maravilha ✌️
Boa sorte no cultivo e aproveita o desenvolvimento 👍
E no final que tenhas uma grande colheita 🌱🌱

Those ladies are absolutely perfect looking plants my last run I grew a sweet skunk auto indoors I got 4 ounces can't wait to see the harvest good luck
@Cannabis_King, thanks Mate. I've been growing cannabis for almost 30 years but this is probably the most beautiful plant ever. Never seen denser and more resinous buds. She needs another week
@Rap_a_cap,purio fra peró diciamo fra la sicilia e la valle d'Aosta c'é una bella differenza , io sto nel lazio ma provando la critical de royalqueen me finisce tardo ottobre quindi con la pioggia é un problema
@Rap_a_cap,i know that's right it is relaxing at first and then after a couple of hours your hands are cramping back hurts from sitting but at the end of the day it is still the rewarding
@Cannabis_King, yep King, really magnificient. The weather couldn't have been better and I couldn't be happier. The only drawback is that I had to buy an ounce of fresh and soft Issaguen hashish to withstand the stress of trim all this stuff
Looking good man! We have similar styles! I try to only give my plants what they need. You said it best when you said outdoor is a whole different planet. I think many indoor growers don't understand this. Happy growing my friend
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 8 out of 10!! 👏😍❤️
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!
