I'm growing lots of weed in my backyard every year, but this year I'm being a bit more careful and will settle for a single plant.
Traditionally I have focused on indica strains, not because I like them better, but because the plants are shorter.
This year, I'll go for the sativa and top the plant instead.
The plant is growing fast and more dense than I would have thought. It's probably the 24 hour light schedule.
I'll repot the seedling this week and add my own organic soil mix.
It's May and the weather is still bad, so I'll keep the girl indoors until June. That will give me plenty of time to prepare her for life outside.
I've repotted in a mix of cactus soil, organic compost, coco coir and clay pebbles.
Plan is to top her when she has some more nodes and keep her low and stealthy.
I had 9 plants last year and my wife was furious. She'll forgive me for one 😂
I repotted again this week to (maybe) to he final pot. She has been responding well to her new room.
I have not decided where to place her outside yet and I need to be descreet.
I'm topping her this coming week - to keep her low.
I topped the girl this week and she made a fast recovery. I'm happy that the weather is still shit, so I can focus on my indoor preparation - and not feel that I'm missing out on sun hours.
She's growing up and will soon move out of my house.
However, my wife bugs me. We are in the process of selling our house, so it will be hard to conceil a cannabis plant in the back yard.
I have decided to try my luck with a true guerilla growth and place it somewhere where I will potentially loose the plant to animals or people passing by.
I have another guerilla diary online right now and have already found a piece of land where I might stand a chance actually getting something out of my efforts.
I expect to move the plant outside in about a week.
I'm blessed by the higher cannabis gods.
I did not need to give away my beloved girls to random circumstances.
She was adopted by a good friend of my wife and me - and in the true nature of the cannabis gods, we will share the spoils at harvest.
I'm so happy 😁🙏
I repotted the girl last week with some good soil and she is responding well.
She's currently 160km/100 miles away from my house (which has too many visitors at the moment) at a friend's place, but looks like she is in good hands.
When I come by next time, I will attach some bamboo sticks and strap+spread out the branches more.
It's week 8, but I don't expect to harvest until week 26-28, so she will get ver large ❤️
I had a chance to visit my plant this week and she looks good. At least 12 nice colas to be.
She was dry (planned) when I took the photos and then watered plenty. I like to dry them out during vegetation 😈
She's flowering nicely. I'm excited to see the progress for period to come.
I (regrettably) smoked some harsh hashish yesterday and I'm longing for that good, sweet smoke that you only get when it's homegrown ❤️
October is almost gone and she has quite a few weeks to go, so she has been moved inside a shed with a transparent roof.
Temperatures are 15 Celsius daytome and about 10 at night.
We will attempt to get a heater, so we can keep her blooming throughout November into December🤞
The whole grow took 34 weeks from start to finish, but GD didn't allow me to put in more than 30 weeks.
I harvested 20 grams and the smoke was better than I expected.
This plant is unfortunately slowly dying with no access to proper light.
It's week 31, the longest I have ever waited for a plant to mature.
It's a sour experience waiting this long for a minimum amount of weak cannabis, but that's the game when lacking the right facilities.
