well..another week in the greenhousse,,all still ok..went down to 0c again last night,,,lol,,,sure glad I have a heater in there to get those extra weeks in the fall..lol...stay tuned,,be coming off soon... put a couple pictures of my WSE Chiquita Banana I have in the greenhouse with the Purple Haze...to show how they are doing also...ll
today will be sterilizing the soil in oven at 350 degrees, getting ready for when my babies pop...some may think over kill,,but I do what I can to keep bugs out of my tent grows..30 minutes baking soil for the starting cups or days/weeks fighting bugs etc ????.will post a pic later today of the soil bake...lol
@Vincent_Van_Grogh, some may think I'm doing a little over kill, but it wont hurt, will kill eggs/larva etc. if any from bugs, same reason I use Diatomaceous Earth before any signs of bugs..both are free or cheap and cant hurt and can help save alot of frustration, is it all totally perfect,,no..but better than not doing preventative measures..in my humble opinion..good luck..
πWell, I bit the bullet and put my Babies out in the greenhouse (may 18),, 2 WSE Purple Haze,,, 1 WSE Chiquita Banana and a mystery seed I cant remember what but a WSE seed.. Maybe a contest to guess the strain down the road of the mystery seed....lol.,the odd chilly night still, so a tarp in there to pull up to hold heat at night from a heater if needed, and again in fall to extend grow period for sativas to mid to late October, and used if to hot in summer to shade at times, can reach in the 90's in greenhouse at times in mid summer. fan installed in door for air and cooling etc.. they all had a good root base, not a tangled mess, nice and full, vertical, and loose enough to not be bound..now as any good father, when his babies grow and move out,,we worry,,do our best to take care of them and pray for their success and happiness...lol
Getting greenhouse ready for the season now,,will till in seasoned manure from local farm and ready to go soon...will grow plants for awhile in tent then to the greenhouse to spread their wings...for an natural organic grow with mother nature...
The past week been doing some training,,,,one purple haze will be grown vertical as usual,,one grown horizontal,, this week the pictures were posted of training since last weeks pics......stay tuned...
