Just leave it, she needs every leaf she has to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and best flowers.
If she did not need those leaves, she would not have grown them in the first place!
Some light, well considered lollipopping wouldn't harm though and stop the plant wasting itself growing shitty little inner buds.
Plants can not channel/send energy anywhere, all energy is used equally wherever growth is occurring.
Plants channelling energy to bud sites is one of the most misunderstood principles in plant biology, it can not and does not occur. To be able to channel energy to a specific site would indicate the plant has a brain and is able to make decisions about energy distribution. Which it clearly can't.
Removing leaves to channel energy into bud growth is the next biggest misunderstood principle. This energy has to come from somewhere, it does not magically appear from thin air. All energy is made in the leaves. Removing leaves means there is less energy being made. So even if a plant could channel energy, with less leaves, there would be less energy to channel anyhow, again resulting in less growth due to less leaves and less energy being produced. So, it would be a self defeating outcome, even if plants could channel energy, which they can not.
Just remember -
Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth.
It is that simple.
Only yellow leaves should be removed, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose.
Hope this helps,.........
