May 19: cold last nit at 0 C but plants were covered and seem okay. Foliar spray at 11 am.
She’s pretty yellow and I tried growing a LSD last year that I culled because it was so yellow. Maybe it needs more N than other strains or something else is wrong. We’ll see and no need to panic just yet.
She made some good progress this week. This one and many of my plants were hit with five cold days in mid-May with overnight lows at or below zero (worst was -3 C one night). Plants survived unscathed, unlike the tomato plants, but were slow to recover in size. She’s made up some ground though and is looking pretty good.
June 20 and 22: full foliar at dusk.
Plant seems to be hitting her stride. 😎
June 23: 3 inches in 2 days. I hope that’s okay and not the plant getting too stretched.
June 25: first use of FFJ made from watermelon, strawberries and bananas. Smelled great. Six days fermentation and made lots so it should last a while.
Very hot.
June 30: historic heat wave. Hit 36 C yesterday, today and likely tomorrow.
July 1: was 37 C here today. Full foliar at dusk and starting to cut back on N from the fish fertilizer.
July 7: full foliar at dusk.
July 8: foliar at dusk with no FFJ or banana peel tea.
July 10: full foliar at dusk.
This plant, and several others the same age, aren’t as tall as they should be due to the cold weather in mid-May. This plant should be about 3 feet tall but it is only 22 inches and has stopped growing taller.
July 19: Fish dose increased back up to 4 mL/L as most of the plants are too yellow. This one turned all purple quite quickly in the last few days. Beautiful plant.
This plant was outside during five days of frost weather in mid-May when they were about three weeks old. They were covered and looked good afterward but the plant growth was badly stunted. Plant could have been much bigger without the cold weather. She did fine during the later heat waves. Considering we went from an over night low of -3 C to three days of 37C in five weeks the plant did okay. It’s also a very pretty plant that could be easily camouflaged in an regular flower bed.
Nice indica type smoke.
Wow, what a color, it is amazing!

Hey mate aphids don't lay eggs, they give birth to live young, which by the way are female and they already maybe pregnant, eggs underneath leaves are more than likely to be caterpillars
@Gorillagardener, huh. I thought these were aphids when I saw them last year. I have seen one or two caterpillars this year but not for several weeks. Either way it doesn’t seem like much of a problem as there weren’t many and the plant will be harvested soon. Thanks for the info.
