Grow Questions

The leaves are starting to get slightly discolored on the edges, what could be causing this? Could it be the white flies? Or could it be too many nutrients? I am giving the plant a bit of Canna A and B, although it's meant for hydroponic, it's all I have at the moment.

Ahh yes using hydropoinic feeds in soil usually means you have over fed. Hydroponic nutrients are very potent now you can use them with soil plants but I advise only using half stregth because soil already has alot of goodies in it. doesent look to bad though give her a flush for a few days and you should be fine :)

I have stopped giving it nutrients since I was seeing potential nutrient burn. However, I am still seeing some yellowing in leaves, some leaves also have yellow spots. What could be causing this? There might be some white flies in the tent.

Nutrient burn creeps up slowly to the point of no return, and just reducing nutrients for a few days will not solve the problem, it takes just as long to go away as it did to build up in the first place. The odd spot or blemish is normal, no plant will ever have 100% perfect leaves, 100% of the time. Going to half strength nutrients and adopting a water/water/feed/water/water/feed schedule will help prevent any burning in the future. Deep watering to run off is also important, this will help prevent toxic salts from the nutrients building up in the substrate. Yellow sticky traps will help with catching any flying insects. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

I am trying to get my plants to flower. I have switched to a 12/12 schedule, but this does not seem to be changing anything. Should I perhaps give it 24 hours of darkness first?

Once you changed from 16/8 to 12/12 to trigger flowering, this can take 2-3 weeks before anything happens, one week is not long enough and your plant must firstly change her hormones from grow phase to flower phase and this occurs slowly and gradually. Hang in there, it will happen, but it won't happen overnight. Do not try giving total darkness, this will just mess with everything your plant is going through. And yeah, normal pictures in normal light are far, far superior. Hope this helps,.......... Organoman.

Is it okay for me to move the plants outside to my balcony during the day, and then I put them in the tent in the evening? I don't just leave them outside because I'm afraid it might get too cold at night.

Perfectly fine and a good way to grow autos. This way they can get their 18 hours a day of light, that they need to grow properly. By the way, as long as it does not go below 12-15 degrees Celsius at night, your plants will be fine.

Hello! I have found that a lot of my leaves have white dots. First it was on only one of the plants, so I divided them. But now it seems to be on all of them. Is this what I think it is (botrytis)? Is there any way to save the plant or harvest at this point? Thank you!

Look up a spray called Moonshine Bio it may just save them before I too late, its better than using harsh chemicals. Looks to me like the mites and if it is pull them out and bleach the area, mites are tough to rid keep applying the remedy until you can fully sanatize the area

Could be a calmag deficiency. Look up pictures of calmag deficiency and it looks like that abit. 🤜🤛 advanced nutrients sensi calmag is good. Has some nitrogen in it too
