Didn't think tracking germination and initial week was worth the pics. Got a healthy start. The auto seeds took a while to pop but they broke ground 4/4 and 4/6

Main branches grew 2-3 inches within a week form the first topping. Was concerned I stunted growth by topping first week of veg, 3 weeks from breaking ground 3/27.

Significant growth this week. Settling into the 15 gallon smart pots well. Topped a couple for the second time but left the others alone. Think I'll forego training the autos since this is my first time growing them. Also doing them outdoors not too worried about light.

Fed the plants with Fox Farm veg nutes once this week. Still a bit early to sex them but only really concerned about the two that are growing the fastest. Hopefully be able to tell in a couple weeks. The plants that were topped for the second time are recovering well and echo new site has grown sets of leaves One of the autos started flowering and the second should start in the next 2-3 days. Did slight LST to the flowering auto to get more sun to the bud sites on the bottom.

Another week of major growth. Probably due to getting another hour of sunshine compared to a month ago? Started smelling a bit too but not strong at all. Gave them heavier waterings and fed veg nutrients once this week. Biggest photo plant grew about a foot this week. The light green plants are getting darker and healthier. The one that was struggling the most bounced back strong this week and grew 2-3x. Still not 100% on sex for all of them though. Thinking that I should've seen males by now so hopefully that's a good sign? Autos are coming along well. More buds sites on one but the other is a few days younger so we'll see. Fed bloom nutes just once this week. Still not too sure what I'm doing so don't want to fry them. Open to hearing some suggestions.

one of them plants is male. Its the larges lankiest one I think but it is very hard to tell by the pictures so I could be wrong but I would stick him somewhere away from your females anyway just incase :)

Just added a couple more pics of the same plant. Think it's still pretty early but are those the hairs I'm looking for?

Correct, female primordia/pre-flowers with white pistils/hairs. No sign of male flowers formation at all, the other respondee I think has confused them with the stipules growing on the stem, the pointy bladey looking things, which are normal and these stipules have no bearing on flower/plant gender, just a cannabis plants ordinary feature, a bit like a persons eyebrows. Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

Saw some more really good growth this week. Each plant is about 4-8 inches taller than last week and more shoots are coming off the main stalks. Added additional support to the tomato cages to help the plants spread out. Need to figure out how to properly space them out. Still no signs of males but keeping a close eye on them everyday, especially the tallest one and the one in the big pinkish pot which is pretty gangly. Autos are doing well but one seems to be lagging a bit behind the other. The most advanced one has most of the buds stacking up on the main stalks while the other has more spread out bud sites. Same gorilla glue auto seeds so not sure what's going on. Watering every other day and fed them Wednesday. Slight increase in the amount of water. Still staying light in the nutrients but will see how they react when I feed them twice next week. Still afraid of frying them.

Posting Tuesday instead of Saturday because I'm heading out of town for the rest of the week. Luckily have some good help with watering but I'm going to feed them before I take off tomorrow. Bottle cap/gallon of veg nutrients for the photoperiods and same amount of bloom nutrients for the auto flowers. Still no signs of males and THINK there are female preflowers on two of the photos. The tallest plant is still worrying me. Wouldn't be surprised if that's male but the others are looking good so far. The gangly one in the pink pot and the only one I didn't top (germinated Ina beer can) are the ones that look like they are showing female preflowers. Using bamboo sticks and gardening tape to support some branches but also using the additional support to spread some of the branches. The light green one (germinated in a beer can as well) is the bushiest out of all them and seems to be liking the ScrOG. Will add more bamboo to the top of the tomato cages like the other plants in the next week or so. Autos are in the beginning of week 8 and about their third week of flowering. They've only been outdoors and started them April 6th so is there a possibility they could take longer than 12 weeks? This is my first auto grow so curious to see my yield. Been light on the nutrients since I'm a novice grower and afraid of frying them.

Another massive week of growth. Classic San Diego May Gray/June Gloom so the plants haven't needed to be watered that much. Soil has been moist all week so haven't fed them and just sprayed with water twice this week to remove some aphids. Autos are doing really well. Think I'll harvest one a week before the other.

Last week's overcast weather kind of threw off my waterings and feedings but warmed up yesterday so was a bit alarmed how bad the plants were drooping. They all need more water than previously so adding about a 1/4-1/2 gallon of water each watering. They perked up within a couple hours but wanted to document the "droopage". Tallest plant is about 66 inches tall. Most are around 48-54 inches. The only one I didn't top seems a bit nute burned so just going to stick with pure water this week and see how it reacts. Autos are doing really well. The most mature one's main bud is the size of a tall boy. The other's buds will be smaller but expecting similar yields. Stoked!

As expected, had to pull the tallest one from the crop. Luckily a buddy took it to breed so not a complete waste. Still worried about two others but they're still looking fine for now. The one I pulled had pretty developed pollen sacks so I think I'm in the clear but still keeping a close eye on all of them Growth slowed down quite a bit so think they're getting close to flowering in a few weeks. Considering how the male plant looked, I'm assuming they're pretty close. The autos are week 11 and getting close to being chopped. The short one will hopefully come down next week. The other has yellow/purple leaves but the buds are still full of white hairs and fluffy. That one will need 2-4 more weeks.

Still feeding the photoperiod plants veg nutes every other watering but noticing some are getting burnt tips. Growth has also slowed down. Should I start feeding bloom nutrients? Using all fox farm...

That could mean your feed is a bit heavy. Make sure you water sometimes and not every time with nutrients, this is important to move excess salts through the medium.

Photoperiods' growth has slowed down a lot. Preflowers are starting to show more and more. End of June now but flowering should be right around the corner. Took off most of the lower leaves and branches to focus growth up top. Slowly introducing bloom nutrients but very small amounts. Autos are close to the finish line. The trichomes are still pretty clear but seeing a good portion turning milky. Probably harvest in the next week or two.

The photo plants are still growing a bit but think flower is a week or two out. Preflowers starting show but had to chop one more male. Increased bloom nutrients this week but still going light. Reacted well to the defoliation of the lower branches last week. Wish I had bigger pots. The 15 gallon smart pots are maxed out. The plant in the pink pot is about 6'4" now and still growing the most. Chopped shorter auto Sunday. Did a wet trim but still plenty to trim later. Chopped half of the other auto Tuesday but the lower buds still have 3-4 days to go. Excited to see the yield from both plants.

Still waiting for all the plants to flower but a couple have started this week. Increased the bloom nutrients but still going pretty light. Trimmed a good amount of dying fan leaves from the bottom. One of the plants had a caterpillar kill a top of major branch but caught it before any other damage. Trimmed the first auto and got about 2.25 ounces. Pretty stoked on the yield but probably chopped her 3-4 days too early. Chopped the other auto in two phases. Trimmed the first half got about 1.75 but still have a substantial amount to trim next week.

Only the short bushy one is really flowering but the buds are stacking nicely. The five others are close. Feeding full dose of bloom nutrients. Temps have been increasing so needing to water everyday instead of every other. Plants all seem to droop by 11 am if I don't water.

Last week of July and still very early stages of flowering. The buds on the short one are stacking up nicely. Hoping for similar results for the other five plants.

9/5-9/10 Missed posting for a few weeks. The plants are getting raped by caterpillars and not looking good. Tried some pesticide but didn't do shit. Just need to pluck every one individually. Might have to harvest early. Fuck!
