Going fully organic this time using Dr Greenthumbs Turbodirt Water Only Soil as growing medium. I had problems when transplanting auto seeds before so I'm germinating directly in the final pot (7 gallon smartpot).
First time I germinate directly on substrate and it went all sweet. This baby broke soil in around 3 days and it's growing quickly since. Started to feed with Dr Greenthumbs Root Roids once a week as recommended and the intention is to keep like that until flush. It is as easy as it goes so far. She is in the growing tent now but I had to keep the humidifier on as the humidity is pretty low rn.
She is growing fast and really strong. I don't know if it's the strain genetics or if it's the soil and root roids but this plant is clearly healthier than on my first grow. Applied the first round of lst training with no topping. Maybe in a future grow but this one is just about learning lst and improving harvest on auto flowers.
First week of flowering for this girl. I'm just tired up all the branches to make them more even but I may not do anymore training to not stress it more. I might do if things get out of control.
I'm wondering if I should cut off some of the lower fan leaves as they are looking kinda useless down there. What do you think? Suggestions are welcomed.
She looks a bit sad to me. I don't know if it's the cold or if it ran too long dry. I'll be keeping an eye on substrate along the week as I'm just watering once a week and it may not being enough. The flowers are popping up everywhere and growing quickly. I had to cut down some fan leaves that were on the way of the buds. So far so good.
Growing steady and easy. The smell is grassy and starting to get stronger. Just feeding with the root Roids once a week but I'm planning on getting the fruit Roids... Maybe I'll grow this one with root Roids only and the Fire OG with both to compare results. I'm getting some pretty decent gnat issue. The yellow stickers are not enough anymore. I'll get a organic spray next week.
I can say without doubt that this was my easiest grow so far. Using this soil and supplements made the grow easy as it comes (no need to mix anything), the plant was healthy and strong since germinating direct on soil and it's my biggest yeld out of the 3 (first two ones were a mix of potting mix and other chemical stuff for fertilization) even with the strong cold weather we're having here (climate change is a hoax, is it?). This plant got the top flowers mature in week 8 (which I harvested) but the whole tree came down on week 9. Pretty fast comparing to what I had before but still very standart for autos. Anyway I'm really glad the outcome will cover me at least some good 6 weeks and maybe my next harvest will be ready by then. From now on I'm just growing using this Dr. Greenthumbs stuff to grow my plants and can't recommend them more if it's available in your country.
