Gorilla Girl Fast Version

Welcome to my Gorilla Girl Fast Version grow. I have started this little lady in my greenhouse but she will be going outside when she put on some size. I am really looking forward to these genetics and the speed mixed in. I am thinking I will mainline this little lady. This will be an organic super soil grow. Sit back and enjoy. 😎🍿

Week two has seen plenty of new growth for this little lady. She has stretched a bit more then I would like but I have her supported so she should be fine. It’s been pretty cold and lots of overcast so I think that played a role. I upped her pot size this week as I found she was drying out too quickly in the tiny pot. Well ....stay tuned for more growth. 😎🍿

Another week has passed and this little Gorilla Girl keeps growing more and more. The weather has really turned for the better and she sure is loving the warmer temps and more sunlight. 😎🍿

Week 4 saw some pretty explosive growth. The weather was beautiful and it shows with all the new growth. This plant is so perky! I love when fan leaves stand up to track the sun. Sweet Seeds’s ladies always seem to be very perky and super happy!! Kudos sweet seeds breeders😎😎 Looking forward to week 5. I may top in the coming week and take off some lower growth. 😎🍿

This week has brought loads of new growth!! I moved her into a ten gallon pot mid week. I expect she will really take off now!! I topped her as well mid week and she has responded well and is starting to branch out a bit instead of getting taller. I also took some lower growth and took a couple clones off her as well. I am looking forward to how she responds to her new pot. I will likely give her another week or two in the greenhouse and then she will move outside. 😎🍿🍻

This week has seen some more explosive growth due to the sizzling temps the last few days. This plant is gonna be a beast!! 🔥🔥🤪 Sweet seeds deserves props for putting these genetics together. She is such a vigorous plant!! She is coping well with the heat and humidity. This fine lady will likely be going outside soon enough and I will start doing some lst and what not once I have her outside. Onward!!! 😎🍿🍻

Well a lot had happened in the last week! I have topped a couple times now and I have started LST. I also pulled off some fan leaves to open her up a bit. She has really grow this week!! I don’t think she is a huge fan of the transition to the good old outdoors but she will adjust. 😎🍿🍻

Another week of great grow! I have done more topping and LST to this fine lady. I have been impressed with how much this plant grows every week!! I have had to clean up lower growth a few times now. I may transplant this week if I find the time to do it. I can’t wait to see this grill after another weeks worth of growth. Although the extended forecast looks like a ton of rain 😬. It I have no doubts she will get through it just fine. I have been treating for pest and mould every 3-4 pays as a preventative. All organic solutions of course. I topped dressed early in the week to make sure she stays happy. 😎🍿🍻

So the past week has been terrible weather wise. High humidity and crushing rains have been constant. I think I started to see some signs of powdery mildew 😬 so I have isolated this plant away from the rest of the ladies I have going as there aren’t any signs of it on the other ladies. I am not 100% sure it was PM but I am not taking any chances so she was moved and I will up treatment on her with various OMRI products. I thought about putting her in a bigger pot but if the PM start to really get out of control I may have to cull her which would be a shame. So I will wait a week or two before she goes into a 30 gallon pot. So 🤞 it wasn’t PM and was just some runoff of the OMRI fungicides I use. Other then that issue the plant looks fantastic! She is very perky and a nice healthy green on all the fan leaves. I took off a lot of foliage to help create nice air movement through her. 😎🍿🍻

This Gorilla Girl is really starting to stretch out. I have been cleaning up the lower/inner growth and spraying for mildew/pest every 3 days now since I thought I saw some signs of powdery mildew (haven’t seen it since). We are having very sticky weather in my neck of the woods these days. 😬😬 I had top dressed with kelp meal and Gaia Green all purpose last week and it proved a bit hot for her even though I went on the low side. Some fan leaves have some burnt tips and a few even have burnt tips all along the serrated edge but it hasn’t gotten any worse in the last three days so I think the worst is over. I find some of the quick variety plants are a bit picky like autos but not quite as bad. I am happy with the growth rate of this plant especially since it has some autoflower genetics in the mix. I may have to step up the pot size soon as I am at the point where I have to water her with 3 gallons everyday!! I think I will only put her in a 20 gallon pot though. Originally I was thinking 30 but I want to save on dirt and seeing how she is suppose to be a fast flowering plant I might not need the extra dirt. Onward 😎🍿🍻

This sweet seeds lady is really starting to get tall! I think I will up her pot size this week as she will likely need more space for her roots to spread out in. I have been cleaning up the lower and inner growth and she doesn’t seem to mind that at all. I am really looking forward to seeing this lady in flower!!! Onward!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

This Gorilla Girl is really getting tall! I have been cleaning up the lower and inner growth to keep any would be mild/pest issues at bay. I put her in a 20 gallon pot this week and she is loving the extra space!! I am starting to see a lot of pistils so flowering is right around the corner now 🔥🔥 😎🍿🍻🌱

This plant is a beast. She is really starting to stretch like a champ!! I can’t wait for her to start packing on buds. Pistils are really starting to pop now so flowering is just about here. 🔥🔥🔥 😎🍿🍻🌱

This lady is huge. She has stretched like made going into flower. I really cleaned out a lot of growth so I don’t get a ton of popcorn nugs. She is drinking a lot, anywhere from 7-10 gallons every two days. 😎🍿🍻🌱

I can’t believe how big this plant is!! She is really bursting into flowering. There are already trichomes showing at the little bud sites which is incredible. Sweet seeds genetics always seem to bring the frost!! I can’t recommend these genetics enough! She’s the biggest Fast Photoperiod I’ve ever grown!! I bet she will push over the 1lb mark! She’s super resistant to mould/mildew and bugs. She can take the heat like a champ and down pours don’t affect her at all!! I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicide which I’m sure has helped. Like I always say, a little prevention goes a long way! Although I also believe strong stable genetics help!! I can’t wait to see what another week brings!! BEAST has done well this week. She is really starting to stack up the buds and the frost is already coming on strong and she already smells quite potent. I am watering with 10 gallons every 2-3 days. She is a thirsty beast!! I am willing to bet this plant will put what sweet seeds says it yields to the test!! Onward!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

This plant is a beast. She is really stacking up now! She is yellowing out a bit now. It’s a bit hard to keep a plant this big happy in a 20 gallon pot!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

All I can say is that this thing is a beast. She likely only has a week or two left so I did one last small top dress with dry amendments as well as some ewc and super soil to top it off. Cant wait to watch this girl really fatten up. She’s already having trouble holding up the colas. 😎🍿🍻🌱

This plant was a BEAST!! She loaded up on frost as much as one could want. She smells super pungent!! The weight of the buds are becoming too much for the branches. This plant was pure gold for a fast photoperiod!! 😎🌱

This plant was pure gold!! She handled the humid weather like a champ. I highly recommend these genetics for two reasons, speed and resistance to diseases!! It is a must for any outdoor grower. One thing I did find is she didn’t like heavy feedings which was a bit surprising since she was such a huge plant and her growth was aggressive! If you’re an outdoor grower you have to try these Sweet seed genetics. I am willing to bet that you won’t be disappointed. She yielded just under a pound of good size buds. I gave away all the smaller stuff to my trimming helpers so with that she would have been over 1 pound for sure!!
