Howdy again all, we're now day 1 of week 9 of veg for these plants. Immediate first thought is hot damn!, spectacular pacing these past couple weeks in terms of height growth and stalk rigidity for all the plants. Mother nature has really opened up now for the area and these girls are loving it. The two autoflower LC plants are going full speed trying to bulk up its flower areas, I was thinking I was going to be harvesting very soon or already at this point, but no, these plants have another couple weeks at least before they are ready, I'm not complaining. Don't stop the train until it's done right? Anyways, the trellis mesh will be coming in the late week so I'll be able to set that up sometime soon to help steady the plants across the board. Mulching has done wonders in helping with moisture retention in this heat. I've also set up bamboo markers for the 5 Banana punch plants to help differentiate them from everything else. The very corner F1 plant that was damaged a while back, I have turned it into a experimental plant and chopped way down the stalk and its putting a suprising amount of energy towards further growth on the existing branches. We'll see how it does down the line. Tallest F1 is at 53 inches and tallest Banana punch at 51inches. Side note, I squeezed in a lavender companion plant in the plot, not that the huge foliage wall isn't helping enough as is haha. Will update in the next couple weeks. Peace and good growth to all yah gardens!
Gl dude, just wanna warn you so long. Unless those are very small strains, that spacing is nowhere near enough.
Like even in winter I have to give plants around 2m space between them (unless using restrictions, or pots).
Btw, I'd recommend you use some kelp if you can (while they're young). It can boost growth and resistance a fair bit, good shit for the soil activity too.
@TokeGoat,
Well hey, if it works for you, super.
But I gotta leave like 3-4m space between plants (for spring-summer-autumn), unless they're small stubby indica things, they grow massive (with zero hst, lst, scrogging, topping, fimming, too). Might just be conditions here causing them to go a bit wider, that sort of thing, coz we do get some fucked up weather at times.
@sir_isO, I understand the spacing concern, but the spacing, (roughly 3 feet/1m), I've used before with enough success with a bit fewer plant numbers. The sunlight with x minor defoliage and whatnot is able to cover the plants well enough. I typically cut out at least a few plants from the number I have from the start/early. Yes I'll use that with some fish meal soon here.
Vos plantes ont l'air en très bonne santé. L'air frais et le soleil naturel les feront prospérer. Meilleurs voeux pour le reste de votre récolte et profitez des récompenses de la récolte et faites attention à ces éxtraterrestres embêtants. 😎👌
