I won’t recommend any pesticides. You can add basil with others natural insects barriers like mint, lavender. The grasshopper will go for the basil before your plants, and the lavender keeps fly away... keep it organic 😉
I would not worry about a regular pesticide hurting the plant. Marry Jane is a pretty tough bird. I would only be concerned about residual pesticides left on my bud. I would really look for a more natural and safe method of insect control.
I would also be concerned that you are having an insect problem now. How will you handle it in a month or two? Will you spray chemical pesticides on your bud? We are exposed to so many toxins in the environment that it is almost a religious thing for me that my bud is clean and pure. I won't even consider black market bud because there are so many reports of the growers using pesticides and herbicides.
Hi mate, i would but be very careful, maybe even water it down a little. I'd definitely do a test on one leaf. (Spray one leaf and wait 24 hours) if shes fine you know it's safe. If not you've only got an issue on one leaf.
Hope this helps 🙂
