Bronzecwx A good return with all 9 seeds coming through soil. As an attic grower in Northern Europe I am dealing with some temperature swings. I have a tube heater beneath a table heating the plants from below to maintain a good ambient temperature and keep the roots toasty. Seeds are in light mix with a touch of mycorrizher fungi from TNC. I am watering with water and Biobizz root juice for the first week.

Bronzecwx Due to hear i swapped the radiator for a tube heater and the table for a pallet so tonewduxe temps but keep the roots warm. Unfortunately temps got too high one day and burned the exodus cheese which has since died despite attempts to salvage it. Down to 7 photos and one auto hut it's all good. I have started watering in a tiny bit of humic acid to help the plant use the nutes in the soil.

Bronzecwx Transplanted into 8l pots this week into the super soil I have been cooking for the past 3 weeks. Added some tricoderma in the form of TNC Mycorr around the roots on the way into the new pots. I am using Dr Forest 4-4-4 organic dry amendments which were added to the super soil along with microbes to cook so I will only be watering with declorinated, ph balanced 6.5-6.8 water and amending the soil every 4 weeks. I am also doing a foliar spray once a week before lights out with 1ml per litre each of Bio Bizz Fish Mix and Algae mix. The latter contains cold pressed Norwegian sea kelp which helps the girls manage some of the heat stress that inevitably comes with attic growing at this time of year. The plants will move into the 5x5 tent once I finish my previous run next week.

Bronzecwx The 5x5 loft grow tent came free as I moved my last flowering plant into the 2x2 so I moved the girls into there. I've been continuing to feed with just ph balanced water and water soluble humic acid. I'm also foliar feeding at lights out once per week. I've enjoyed explosive growth since the transplant into the 8l pots. They will be moving into their final pots within the next two weeks getting ready to flip to 12/12. All plants were topped for a second time at the end of this week. I gave them a foliar spray with algae that night to relieve stress. Temps haven't been too bad in the veg tent and I'm keeping my humidity in check with the inkbird (45-55 RH). The plants are drinking every other day which is a great sign. I am really pleased with how things are going. This is the best my plants have looked at this stage although this is only my second photoperiod grow. Microbes, humic acid and organic amendments are a cheat code when it comes to growing herbs. They make it difficult to over water, the plants more resistance to underwatering and help buffer ph although I am balancing my water prior anyways. All good vibes thus far.

@Grandad_Mac, hi mate sorry haven't been on in a few weeks. Where I am the water is pretty good, low PPM but I do leave it out for 24 hours to declorinate just in case. I'm growing in an attic so the yellowing at the bottom has been from heat stress although I havent suffered that in a couple of weeks now. Bottled water could be a shout. I used it in a previous grown because its ph at source was 6.8 so it saved me using ph down. I saw your grow but and things seem to be going OK. Hope it continues for you.

All 7 photos have been topped this week and are ready for transplanting into 8 litre pots of living soil I made which has been cooking for the past two weeks. For the living soil I used BioBizz light mix mixed with biobizz worm castings (25%) with Dr Forest 444 dry amendments and some TNC Mycorrizher and Bactorr. I will also add tricoderma to the roots during transplanting.

@Bronzecwx, I've been using water filtered a couple of times and have had noticeable difference in growth. Right on with the microbes mate. 👍

@Bronzecwx, Nice combo. Do you check water quality online? Where I live the quality is terrible (high EC, sodium and chloride), combined with powerful LED lighting, I believe is causing no end of calmag issues, regardless of soil quality. May have to switch to bottled water to get the most out of the soil? Not telling you how to do your thing, just something to be aware of mate, as its fucked me up a bit previously.
