kvanzz I used a bamboo paper towel. I chose this method because of the water retention. Unfortunately, the taproot got stuck in the fibrous paper. I cut around it very carefully and placed it in the organic seed starting soil. I chose Espoma because they were out of the Fox Farm.

If anyone can share links to their favorite types of natural fiber grow bags with handles I would greatly appreciate it! Or anything else you think I might benefit from.

I’m using these 5-gallon bags; I was skeptical because they didn’t have many buyers/reviews, but I wanted a bit deeper than standard 5-gal dimensions for deeper roots. So far, they are great, just wish they came in white (it gets hot here). kvanzz things are really moving along. It has been hot and humid. I will set a calendar on my phone to remind me to do the weekly updates. I'm sure I will have questions. I am so thrilled and amazed to look at this beautiful plant. Natures miracle for sure!

kvanzz This plant exceeded my expectations for my first grow!. I am beyond thrilled to see actual buds growing and the plant is healthy and strong. Totally manageable and not too high.

kvanzz I think it's done. Not sure if I should harvest before a heavy rain or wait till everything dries up over the weekend.

Gorilla skittles started May 19. I planted it outside and it took a while to start vegging probably about a month. should I give it some more time? Heavy rain is expected Thursday night but it's looking like a splendid weekend. Dry and sunny

looks like she has a couple weeks to go yet. As some others have said, you can either make a frame with some 2x4s and tarp to keep the rain off her or take her in throughout the rain if that's possible.

I say some weeks to wait. Still lots of white pistils happening and the rest of the foliage doesn't look like it's at that 'ripe' using up the leave nutrients stage,

my advice is to get a 60x lens to see the trichomes, only then you will be sure of when to cut
