20hours in peroxyde 1%. Rinced in spring water. Seeded in a rapid rooter. At the end of the week I put it in a 1 gallon smartpot with my coco mix, 5gr promix myco, watered at center of pot with 500ml bottled spring water, 0.25ml Microbial mass pro, 0.5ml Magnifical. Coco was pre buffered with veg week1 Remo solution. Early veg is under A 36W Sansi grow light.
Transplant to 10 gallons smartpot (added 10 gr pro mix myco + Microbial mass inoculent). Topped ! Feeded some sugar (Nature Candy) for the microbes (Microbial Mass pro in the coco mix).
Topped a second time (one was a FIM I made on purpose to try it).
Still together with her cousin from my other first medical grow diary in the big tent under a dimmed SF-4000. Later on Og Kush will move alone in the 3X3 tent.
I was initially intending to give her another week but an electrical problem caused the light to stay off for a few hours so I decided to send her with the others in their transition week. Actually, they are on the same timer but Og kush is alone in a 3x3 tent under an SF-2000 light. I gradually reduced light exposition from 19h to 12h per day.
Bad luck ! I splitted the poor thing in half. I was not even intending to LST when it happened. I topped a good cm above node but still, it splitted. I sent a bunch of Remo rooting gel in the middle of that trunk and closed the gap, fastening that horror with thick LST wire.
Trunk got super wide after healing. Some mostly lateral but still minimal stretch. she's slowed down by that accident. Too bad it didn't happen a few days earlier in veg.
She got wider and almost fill the 3x3 tent. Many many bud sites. I added 2 36W Sansi grow light for a total of 272 Watt of broadband LEDs. The thick trunk is awesome, she stands very well on her own. I may repeat the procedure on purpose, in veg next time I grow a big one.
How many grams of dried bud do you think I'll harvest ?
This was a fabulous first grow! Out of 10 seeds of various strains, she was the winner. I dryed the whole plant slowly (14 days) between 17 and 19 C. After a month of curing, I can say this is AAAA material. Awesome.
Months later, I now know from her clones she’s a bit sensitive to powdery mildew and spider mites loves her. She’s worth the trouble.
