This is my first time ever trying to grow and was given this clone of Oregon Lumberjack to try out after purchasing a couple of GG # 4's. I had an idea that I was going to top and try to manifold some of my clones, but just realized clone clusters aren't evenly spaced. Will have to investigate what my next move is, but will probably LST.
Cups are filled with what looks like your typical starting soil and has 3 holes drilled at the bottom for drainage. Grower had clones under a light in a basement, so these need to be introduced slowly to outside light. Currently have them in a hoophouse (not as harsh as direct sunlight) and will gradually introduce them outside with no cover.
She started to outgrow her cup, so I decided to transplant up to her next stage. Roots were just starting to circle the bottom of the cut, so it was a good time to transplant up. Wanted to start LST as soon as possible, but she doesn't seem ready just yet. Will give her a few more days to grow and then see if I can start her training.
Water about 6 cups of water every other day and have been leaving outside during the day and moving into a hoophouse at night.
She's been growing like a beast this week after being transplanted and getting some of these crazy high temp days (85 Deg) during this time in early June.
Started to LST a bit, but I can honestly say I'm not sure how all the stems and branches actually grow. This will be a very educational process for myself.
Watering about once every 2-3 days. Moving them outside during the day and back into a hoophousee at night as of right now.
I seem to be having the same trouble with all my plants right now (GG #4, Super Silver and this one) I'm getting yellowing from new growth and I'm currently thinking its either lockout from the high temps we've been getting so early in the season or my potting soil (Happy Frog) is running out of Nutrients. I mixed up a 0-0-13 spray I use on my farm and decided to give it a foliar spray to see if the lack of phosphorus could be the problem. If it helps or I don't see any change I may give it a shot of Tiger Bloom and Grow Big. This is puzzling me because even the plants I transplanted 2 weeks after these are showing the same signs. Can't be lack of nutrients?????
I've been watering from the faucet which has a iron remover and softener and have been lowering the PH to 6.5. May try lower the PH a bit more just to see if that helps.......
LST seems to be going alright so far. Need to trim this one up a bit nd tie down a few more branches to make sure everything is getting enough light.
She looks like she's been doing well so far. Decided to pot her up as she started to dry out every day with this heat. Continues to LST as seen in the pictures above. Looks like I'm getting the idea of how they grow as well as which ones probably wont have a good chance is doing so. Added 3 bamboo sticks across the new 30 gallon pot. Allows me to train the stem along the middle and pull the other branches to the side.
