I germinated the seed in a wet paper towel inside of a plastic baggy. Good tap root after 24 hours. Planted into about 2 cups of coco coir in the middle of a 5 gal cloth pot otherwise filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest +20% Perlite. Initially saturated entire pot, which sat while the seed germinated. First picture is about 24 hours after planting. I have a Logitech webcam hooked up to a raspberry pi which takes snapshots every 20 seconds and streams to a webserver so i can check on it regularly without needing to go into the basement. Intending to make a time-lapse video if all goes well which will be added to the diary.

So far it seems to be going extremely well. It is crazy to see how much it grows each day. On my first water i went a little heavy at the base of the plant, and it fell over. I very gently stood her up and compacted the soil some around the stem. Oops.. She didnt seem to care. Started LST on day 15 using pipe cleaners

Training is more involved than i realized. It doesn't help how bushy this thing is. Still growing like a weed. Maybe im overdoing it with the lst, kind of want her to get a little taller, challenging to water at the moment She doesnt seem to mind the rough handling, which is nice because i was a bit nervous at first. On Day 20 added half recommended dose of cal/Mag & Grow big. I dont know if she needed it, so i kept the dosage low. at this point I am watering with about 2/3 gal of filtered tap water every 3 days

The leaves on the main shoot (i dont know the term for this) have developed dark green blue coloration. I'm hoping it is not a problem. I think it looks pretty cool. Otherwise she is still growing strong. The difference is quality between the webcam and my phone camera is ridiculous. I am going to try and start taking some more pictures with my phone moving forward. day 26: Well, I think i am done with the lst on this one. tried to bring the main stem down just a bit more and... Snap! Tried duct tape as i had a roll next to me at the moment. It has only been 30 minutes, but its looking pretty sad already. Hoping she pulls through :( Did not seem to like my tape job, and i didnt want the attempted repair to hold back the rest of the plant, so i removed it and tried planting it in another container. Doubt it will take root, but time will tell.

Is this dark bluish tint to the leaves an issue? It is only on the the main stalk, She otherwise seems very happy.

I would say to add a little more cal-mag and keep your grow at the same rate or slightly less than previous feed. The coco unless buffered with cal-mag will battle the plant for it resulting in the upper yellowing. The extreme darkening of the leaf almost blue looking is a nitrogen excess. happy growing!

She seems to have recovered from the accidental topping, and is starting to stretch. The accidental clone is still kind of alive, no browning just still pretty limp. Day 33. Introduced bloom nutes yesterday, After Raising my lights the inner growth has started to take off. The branches on the outer edge of the plant have started really shooting up. Im raising my lights several times a day, really hoping it doesnt outgrow my tent. The little clone is still alive, standing on its own, but no real growth. Maybe ill get a little bud out of it eventually :) Day 35. Added some nice pictures. My accidental clone is still alive a week later, It is looking better, but not sure whether it will produce anything of value. Overall the main plant is looking really good, although despite having a fairly even canopy when i stopped training it has definitely favored on side. Ive started rotating the plant, hoping its an environmental effect that i can control.

Some light yellowing on the leaves, more on the smaller nodes towards the middle. Could this be related to my accidental topping, or possibly due to uneven watering? It was very bushy when i tried to water it last, so i am not sure how evenly the soil was saturated.

You look to be suffering from a little to much light intensity to fast. I would raise the light back up to where it was last week. The plant is still want to grow while it’s starting to transition into flower. So if you haven’t increased your Cal-Mag I would go ahead and bump it up a tad. The plant will yellow slightly on the tops as well during its transition naturally. It tries its best to grow leafs fast feeling the pressure to flower. Just another way to tell you she’s getting hungry and eating what your giving lol. Happy Growing!

Is there anything i can do about the uneven growth? I stopped training after I broke off the main stem, but at the time it was relatively even. Im at 35 days right now, how much bigger will this thing get?

Flowers are really starting to come in. My accidental clone is still mocking me. Alive enough that i wont kill it, but just barely. Moved it up closer to the light to see how it responds.

This is the final stretch. Leaves are yellowing early, probably due to flushes trying to correct a PH Imbalance. Added nutes to water on day 57 to try and correct. Will likely Flush on next water and try to ride it out to the end of week 9 before chop. about 50% cloudy trichomes at the moment. Really hoping she makes it. Although the leaves are looking pretty sad, the buds themselves seem happy, hoping they bulk up a little more though. Day 60: Performed final flush on day 59, will be cutting the lights at day 61 and plan to chop on day 63 - yellowing is spreading to some of the sugar leaves, but i think the timing will be near perfect. Trichomes at 80%+ milky

Buds turned out very light and airy, but there were a lot of them. 90 Grams is more that I was expecting, and that does not include the tons of tiny popcorn buds that went into the trim bag. Planning to do two plants on the next grow, I definitely learned some things this time around.
