First time, casual grow - Not expecting anything amazing - Just doing this for abit of fun! Anything extra is a bonus! After germinating 2 seeds successfully, I planted these two babies into some spare houseplant soil that was left over (Westland Houseplant Compost - 65% Peat (Is that bad?)). They have been growing well so far as you can see from the pics. Sunlight on the window has been off and on the past few days due to bad weather. Going to track their growth as best I can from now onwards. I haven't been measuring PH or adding any nutrients, trying to keep it as hands off as possible, not sure if this is essential. PS Had some problems with stretching early on - I guess because of light. I filled the pots up with more soil and buried the stems a little more as you can see from the pics. Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

Week 3 - doing very well! Moved the plants to an attic room in my house and positioned them under a sky light - seem to be thriving now. I taped some tinfoil around the plants to maximise sunlight. Vegetation looks healthy and I have been watering sporadically when needed. No signs of any problems or stress, fingers crossed! Thinking about repotting them into their final, larger containers soon. Nothing added in terms of nutrients or anything like that! So far, so good. Let's hope they stay on track.

Week 4! - Still on track! So far so good. I repotted both plants into their final pots and filled them up with canna coco. Since the weather has been warm and sunny they have grown exponentially and have no signs of slowing down. Watering has been more frequent this week as it's been warmer but I have the feeling that I will need to water slightly less now that they have been repotted in the Canna Coco - this soil seems to hold the moisture alot more. I inserted some small bamboo sticks for support which seem to be doing the trick nicely, no problems. Any tips or advice going forward would be appreciated. Still pretty hands off and no feed/nutrients have been added - just good ol water.

Week 5 looking good! Easy going so far. No problems at all and still growing strong. Put on another few inches of height and signs of flowering have burst through. Starting to get a lovely sweet smell now

Week 6 has been eventful for plant growth. As you can see from the pics the buds are starting to form and the plant is in full flower now. The leaves are starting to build with trichones and the overall health of the plants is really good. Still only Water and Sunlight with no added nutrients or feed. Really impressed with how they have been growing and can't wait to see more progress as we go into the final weeks
