She's growing steadily, and showing some nice sets of leaves. Last week has been particularly cloudy, which might have hampered her growth. I will keep her on the windowsill for now, as she is still too fragile to face the elements.

This week has been the first sunny week in months, so I decided to move her outside. The full sun is doing her good, she is growing nicely! As the night temperatures are high enough, I can leave her outside at night too.

This was not a good week for my Gelato.. I moved her outside, and the full sun and high temperatures might have been a bit too much. She has not shown much growth in both leave size and length, and shows some light stress. I hope next week she will start growing again. Do you have any tips?

Last week was terrible as the full sun was a bit too much for my Gelato and stunted her growth. This week was only slightly better. She continued growing and developed some new sets of leaves near the end of the week. I hope next week she will grow more!

This was a good week! She has recovered from the heat/sun stress and is looking healthy again. I gave her some seaweed extract NPK fertilizer to give her a little boost. Let's see what next week will bring us.

Moved her to a big pot. Barney's Farm says Blue Gelato 41 grows to be taller than 1.5m, so I decided to give her a big pot, to grow plenty. I don't think she will grow as big as they say due to the late start, but we will see. When I moved her, the roots looked healthy and white.

Another good week of vegetative growth, not much to say about it. I am thinking about topping her soon, but not sure if this is a good idea?

I topped her at the start of the week and now two tops are growing. She looks like she is handling the stress alright. The weather was very rainy last week.

She is not growing very rapidly after topping her a while ago. This is not a problem, as one of the reasons for topping was to reduce height. 1 top is making place for 2 new ones!

Last week was very rainy and little sunlight. She had some nitrogen deficiency, so I gave her half a tablet of RQS Easy Grow. Hopefully, she will look better next week.

Very uneventful week, lots of rain so can't really feed her the nutes she needs. Still looks nitrogen deficient. Next week the weather will clear up and we get some sunshine again!

To be honest, this was another disappointing week. Nitrogen deficiency is still not solved, and because it kept raining last week I could not feed her nutrients. She looks overwatered even after poking holes and waiting a few days. Next week should be dry, so I hope the soil dries up and I can feed her more nutrients.

It looks like growth has completely stopped now... no difference from two weeks ago. I don't know how I can fix this. More nutrients? Leave the soil to completely dry out? Advice is welcome :)

What should I do to fix my plant? She has hanging leaves and yellowing for weeks. The summer has been pretty wet here, and the soil has been satiated a couple of times. It's getting dry now. Should I wait for the soil to completely dry or try feeding nutrients?

If the top inch or so is dry, it is time to water. Water deeply to run off. Going by your pictures, your plant needs feeding too. Never feed on dry soil, always lightly water first, about half the amount of water you usually give, an hour or so before feeding. This will help prevent burning and aid in the absorption of the fertilizer into the soil. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Finally a good week for my Gelato! After having wet soil for weeks and showing strong signs of nutrient deficiencies, I finally decided to feed her nutrients regardless of how wet the soil was. And it seems this was a good decision! She is finally turning a healthy green again and is starting to show the first signs of flowering.

She is looking really good! RQS nutrients doing their job. Summer has definitely come to an end here in the Netherlands, so I hope she gets enough sunlight to produce some nice buds.

Start of autumn in the Netherlands. This might have been the last good week with plenty of sunshine and no rain. The buds are growing nicely and her leaves are turning very nice purple colors! Today I bought a small greenhouse/tent to shelter from the rain, as I want to minimize the risk of bud rot in the last period of the growing season. Some leaves are showing weird spots, not sure what they are from, but will probably start spraying an organic all-round insecticide on the leaves. Do you think she looks good or am I missing nutrient deficiencies?

She is looking very pretty if I say so myself. I have to say I am not sure whether the colours are good or a sign of nutrient deficiency/excess. Please comment if you know whether this is good or not.

Are the colors of the leaves a sign of healthy development in the flowering stage, or a sign of nutrient deficiency/excess? After struggling a lot with the nutrition of this plant, I am not sure anymore whether I'm doing it right. Some of the leaves become yellow and fall off.

Looks like a combination of phosphorus deficiency, end of life with a bid of nitrogen deficiency and cold nights. Starting with phosphorus. Your 3rd picture of week 19 you can see the serrated edges curing up on the leaves. This is the first sign of a lack of phosphorus ( also a first sign of high heat or low humidity but your heat is normal and humidity is high so you can rule that out). The next sign is leaves start to go purple ( this is also genetics and will happen based on pigmentation and not a deficiency with some strains when they hit end of life or low night temperatures.). The spots and purple leaves going brown is the next phase. Nitrogen deficiency- this is seen with the bottom leaves going yellow/red( strain pigmentation I mentioned above ). Nitrogen is mobile so the plant will take the nitrogen from the lower less productive leaves as it needs it. This is normal for end of life and actually a good sign you did not over feed her. To much can cause a harsh smoke and bad taste or take longer to cure the bud after it has dried. As for what you can do I would say keep her happy with water until harvest. With your location you only have so long before it gets to cold. She can handle a short frost but Its best to harvest before that.

We had a nice week of sunny autumn weather. I can see the buds fattening up by the day! They are already coated in crystals. The RH is very high past few weeks, so I am checking for any signs of bud rot on a daily basis. I don't give her any nutrients, only water for the last weeks.

The weather has been surprisingly good for autumn in the Netherlands. However, it is getting cold. With night temperatures dropping to 4 degrees celsius. There is still quite some sunlight. The buds are very dense, but taking quite long to get big. I guess about 40% of the pistils are brown on the main buds. The trichomes are mostly clear and some cloudy. The harvest date will depend more on the weather though, as I don't want to risk bud rot. I gave her a last little bit of Bloom fertilizer.

Last week! I spotted some botrytis, so I will have to chop her down, especially since the weather is not getting any better here in the Netherlands. Ideally, she would need two more weeks, but the buds are looking quite nice anyways.

I harvested it as soon as I found botrytis. I had to throw away a small bit, but as a checked every day for signs, it didn't get much time to spread. After a short trimming session, I hang them in a cardboard box with holes in the sides, with strings and clothespins. After a little more than a week, the thin stems snapped instead of bent. So it was time to start curing them!
