canna_coll Fed 1/2tbs of Stonington blend plant food this morning, scratched into top soil and then lightly watered and sprayed with water/silica mix. Definitely stunted all my plants this grow by transplanting, but they are looking quite healthy still.
These are planted in Coast of Maine organic potting soil. I opted not to use the stonington platinum mix because I thought the nutrients would be too strong for the little autos. Pleased with my decision so far.
canna_coll 5/30/21: Bummed out because this weekend from Fri-Sun it’s been raining, and it’s going to rain tomorrow as well. No sun this weekend so I might rig up one of my old grow lights for the remainder of the weekend. The plants have finally started to smell! You gonna bend down and take a whiff, but oh boy do they smell good.
The other day, I fed my two Blue Cheese autos (not yet pictured) with a half tbs of COM Stonington blend plant food. Those, and my Tangerine Dream autos, are still fairly small and scrawny from transplanting. Depending on how the next week goes, I might cull a few of my plants and then plant the germinated seeds directly into the 5 gal pots.
6/3/21: Fed the two BDs another 1/2tbs of COM stonington blend. BD #1 is flourishing, BD #2 is still a little behind. Started germinating 2 seeds last night, Sour Diesel auto and another BD auto, to replace a Tangerine Dream and Blue Cheese that aren’t really growing that much.
canna_coll On Saturday, 6/5, I made an organic pest control spray to apply preventatively. I saw a few small green aphids so I whipped together: 1tbs neem oil, emulsified with 1 tbs powdered silica/water blend, and a little more than half a gallon in my sprayer. I doused the plants at around 9:30-10pm.
This morning, 6/7, I noticed the hole in BD #1. I checked all the leaves for pests but didn’t see anything, so I’m going to keep my eye on it. When watering I gave her a good blast with the water so hopefully anything invisible to my eye was washed away!
6/8: Fed everyone 1tbs of COM Stonington plant food and also did some very light defoliating at the bottom nodes. The leaves down here were yellowing a little, figured it was time to shift some of the attention to the tops of these babies. BD #1 is looking fantastic, BD #2 is still much smaller.
canna_coll These babies have exploded in growth over the past week. All pictured are preflowering, excited to see the buds start to form!
On 6/17 I fed everyone with 1tbs of COM fish bone meal and half a tbs of the COM stonington blend food. Next week I’ll flip over to more of the fish bone meal for flowering.
