I’ve found that going straight into soil is best for me and my girls.
Prepare your tub with soil, put your bean in a fingernail size hole and level over. 500ml corrected water over her, then I use a clear plastic solo cup with a hole cut in the bottom ~ 10mm, upturn it and bury the top in the soil with bean in the middle.
They tend to take roughly 2-3 days until she breaks surface and shows her day 1 leaves 😉 using this method with autos especially I’ve had 100% success (touch wood). I believe (although I cannot prove), that less handling of the bean the better... personally speaking it scares the hell out of me that I used to pick it up from the tissue and place it in soil, just because of how fragile they are. In fact I don’t even touch the bean. Just straight from packet to soil 🤣
Much love fam
First week, never much to say really. Except that she has started life just like 100% of the prior sweet seeds I’ve run... such a joy and comfort to know that the seed you’re planting is actually going to grow 😉
Amazing, just an explosion of life. Always tends to happen now that I plant straight into the soil and planter she will spend her entire life - first week not much on the surface, but it’s all going on under the soil! Then week two,💥 from every leaf sprouts a new branch. This girl and her cuz, will be the first whom I start using a little extra organic help - I’m truly excited to see what these girls do!
Stay safe, stay medicated, stay groovy
Much love 💚
We have lots of growth - not in height, but just growth from every junction, superb! 😍
Since this is my first time growing this strain I’m super excited to she what she does and if I need to tweak anything.
Just some very light defoliation, literally 4 leaves taken in total to enable light to reach as much of her as possible because I don’t have long with her… and of course, with the nipping, comes the tucking which I consider LST at this stage as they’re so young still.
Onwards and upwards for next week 😁💪🔥
This week is stretching and going into preflower. She is such a different lady to the red gorilla girl I started at the same time. Not as much stretch but an explosion of growth from everywhere. I want to say she’s growing in an indica way but she is naturally more 50/50. So maybe an indica pheno… don’t I think I’m going to start a couple of her next run and see what happens.
Just about to give this lady a little help, I like to wait until they are in preflower as I’ve found anything before this tends to heavily affect yields. Once they are in position and able to lean on something I don’t move her anymore. Just one training week and other than a little defoliation along the way she is just given good natural food, love and light.
Until next week, stay frosty
Wow! She may only be small but my word there is growth on growth on growth! As she is still a little flexible, I have trained some of her branch’s out, to allow light to hit more bud sites. I’ve taken some leaves to promote light penetration through the canopy, as I don’t lollipop autos - I see it the same way I view topping, she just doesn’t have the time or resources to spend on repairs, I would rather her put her efforts into the flowers than repairing where they used to be 😂
Onwards and upwards, catch you on the next update
Stay shiny people
Amazing lady! Development wise I’d say she’s about a week or two behind her Red Gorilla Girl sister I planted at the same time however she seems to be growing with a heavy lean towards a full indica which is wonderful as most all the ladies I’ve grown, they’ve all been with quite sativa or noticeably hybridised.
Again as with all my autos currently, I’ve found less messing with the girls the better, they kinda want to be left to it. So I try to tease out the branches to allow more light to penetrate and encourage side branches to grow as tall as the central stem - pulling the main stem over so all tops are the same height once we’re into flowering.
Until next week, stay safe out there
This girl is definitely a little pocket rocket! Just wow! I’m getting more and more impressed with this young lady.
We did the training last week so this week has been tweaking this before she started to stiffen. No more training for this girl from now, I will add support as and when she needs it, and only take leaves when I absolutely have to. Other than that it’s just giving her great food and love
Stay safe
She’s a beauty! Buds now fattening and by the looks of her, she’s nowhere near finished!
Just like her sisters she’s enjoying the godlight outside and looks stunning with her pure white pistils against her dark green leaves, she is absolutely amazing.
One thing I have noticed with this lady and her two sister started a few weeks after, is that they live life on their own terms and at their own pace - this is tending to be roughly 1 week slower than other strains I’ve grow. In my eyes that means another week for her to fatten those buds 😉
No further training, just nipping and tucking the odd leaf, depending on size, age, and location. All natural feed and lots of love!
Until next week, stay safe out there
Oh my word, I’m still amazed, to think where she started from just 9 weeks ago - just a bean with a lot of potential. I’ve thinned out the top canopy to encourage more light to the lower buds and help them mature with the tops. She’s not quite at flush just yet so we just keep on chugging 😉
Stay frosty
We’ll the flush went as expected. Just plain (corrected), water in the form of ice for the last two days, I’m checking trichs daily and I believe by our next update she will be ready for her next evolution. No issues, natural signs of deficiency’s showing in her leaves and her flowers getting fatter. Exciting!!
Stay human
A beauty to have in my garden. I will fill this in once she’s dry and cured 💚Right from the off she was on her own timescale and doing her own thing. No issues at all and I think the next round will be that much better.
Definitely a girl to grow, I can’t recommend her enough!
Edit: This girl was on her own timescale all the way through. 11 weeks from seed is all she took and I could not be happier - solid nugs all the way and there will be a nice amount of small nugs and trim from me to turn into concentrate of some description
I trained during weeks 4&5 but other than a light defoliate I’ve basically just left her to it - she’s so strong smelling, and just covered in shining white resin, of a density I’ve only seen in elite cuts.
No issues of any sort at all throughout the grow other than worrying about too much growth 🤣 not a bad worry 😉
I would highly recommend this strain for newbies and grand masters alike. Just don’t try the usual photoperiod methods as these girls don’t live long enough to recover, and grow at the same time. I’ve used very minimal techniques and she has still gone over by a few weeks. I think I will be growing 4 of these next time as a single strain grow and see how I get on as she may end up being a regular in my med cupboard 💪💚we’ll didn’t know there was a time limit on putting the dry weight in?!!
So dry weight is 80g!
Thanks @SegaYGriega, - I will post some better pictures as these don’t really do her justice as I took them just after I had flushed her… she’s gotten fatter 👊
