Germination started on Friday 5/28 in a water glass. I planted in soil on Sunday. The first plant appeared on Tuesday, the second one today Wednesday. So far so good.
Day 8: Yesterday I noticed that plant 1 showed signs of not getting enough light. So I adjusted the lights up 5 cm and switched to full spectrum. As of now everybody seems to be happy.
Day 9: I watered with PlantaPlus Root. The run-off water measures a pH of 6.2. I am trying to raise it to ~6.8 during the next couple of watering's.
Day 12: Watering switching to BioBizz. Plant 2 is taking over Plant 1, I switched them in the Growtent to even out the growth. They are both very healthy and thriving.
We reached week 3 of the grow and the plants look amazing. This week I will re-pot them into their final containers.
Day 15 - 6/16 : Watering with BioBizz Bio-Grow, Fish-Mix and Bio-Heaven with pH 6.7
Day 17 - 6/18 - I re-potted the plants into 16 l felt pots. I am sticking with Gold Label Light mix as the growing medium. The new pots are the final home for the plants.
Day 18 - Both plants look healthy and are growing nicely. We are ~2 days before topping
Day 19 - First pruning to 3rd node. I left the fan leaves of node 2 until the plants have recovered. I watered the plants to run-off after topping. I decided on following nugbuckets mainlining approach and will be topping 3 times.
Day 20 - One day after topping. Plant 1 was ready for LST, it seems Plant 2 will be ready tomorrow. I am probably removing the rest of the fan leaves on plant 1 tomorrow. Everything looks healthy and active.
Day 21 - I defoliated plant 1. It is growing vigorously and the new tops are coming along spectacular. Plant 2 is a little bit behind. I could LST today and I will most likely defoliate in 2 days. The plant is healthy, just a little bit slower.
Day 22 - I defoliated plant 2 today as well. The big fan leaves there blocking light access of the new tops. It was a little bit earlier than I originally planned, but I think it will help the final growth.
Day 23 - Both are growing vigorously once again and I probably can top once again tomorrow.
Day 24 - I watered the plants until run-off. I am holding off with topping until tomorrow.
Day 25 - I topped both plants to the first nodes, following nugbuckets. I left the fan leaves on and I wait for LST until I see vigorous growth.
Day 28 - I performed LST to both plants after topping and after they recovered. I let them grow 4 nodes before I top once again to the 3rd node for the final time. Both plants look very healthy, but still plant 2 stays significantly more compact.
Day 30 - I removed the lower fan leaves of plant 1 and adjusted the LST constraints for plant 2. Both are building the 3rd node on the new colas. I am waiting until they have 5-6 nodes before I am topping once again. Both are performing very nice and look very healthy without any blemishes.
Remark: I think I should have waited for the second topping as well and topped to the 3 node to spread out the canopy more. Something to consider for the next grow.
Day 32 - I finally decided to remove the lower fan leaves of plant 2. It is still very compact and growing slower than plant 1, but it looks healthy
Day 34 - I watered the plants to run-off
Day 35 - Plant 1 has an anomaly on one of its branches. The second node developed 3 fan leaves and two colas. It seems I will en up with one cola more than originally planned. (see picture 2)
Day 36 - I adjusted the restraints for both plants. They are almost ready for the last topping. Plant 2 had a significant growth spurt overnight and is now almost overtaking plant 1 in size.
Day 40 - Final topping of the two plants. Plant 1 is growing very unconventionally, on side develops additional fan leaves and colas from node two. I topped so that I hopefully will end up with two additional colas.
Day 41 - I watered the plants with the same nutrition level until run off
Day 42 - Start of week 6 in veg. Not a lot to add today. The plants are recouping fine after the last topping. Plant 1 is growing uneven and I am holding off another couple of days to figure out how I want to top the last two branches.
Day 43 - I topped the last two branches of plant 1 to the 3rd node and will receive 9 colas instead of 8.
Day 45 - Just a quick update. Not a lot to do anymore. Just water them once in a while and wait until they are big enough to switch to flower.
Day 48 - I watered the plants to run-off with the standard solution and pH of 6.6 and adjusted the bondage.
Day 49 - Nice progress everywhere. I am expecting to switch to flower within two weeks.
Day 52 - Only a photo update. Everything is progressing as expected.
Day 54 - Time to water again tomorrow. I will be switching to a more flower based watering schedule. I probably can train the plants to the tomato rings tomorrow as well. They are growing spectacular.
Day 55 - I watered the plants and switched to the flowering regiment for the nutrition. I will train the plants to the tomato rings tomorrow, cleanup the lower growth and then switch to flower. The plants are doing amazing, I can detect no blemishes and they are growing fantastic.
Day 56 - I cleaned up some of the lower growth and fan leaves that are growing to the inside. I performed some HST and trained the plants to the tomato rings. The plants are ready to switch to flower within the next week.
Day 57 - Only a photo update. I am switching the plants to flower tomorrow.
Day 58 - The plants are switched to flower. So far so good.
Day 61 - I watered the plants with the flowering mixture from BioBizz. There has been quit some stretch over the last couple of days and I removed the restraints.
Day 63 - First couple of days in flower and both plants are stretching like crazy. I am somewhat worried that they will not fit into my grow space after everything is said and done.
Day 64 - I performed some Super-cropping to even out the canopies and I removed some of the lower inward growing fan leaves and some of the lower small bud sites.
Day 67 - I watered until run-off. The plants are growing like crazy and they are getting thirstier.
Day 68 - Not a lot to add. Thy are healthy and are growing like crazy.
Day 70 - Second week of flowering. Not a lot to do besides watering once in a while and removing some of the unproductive lower growth periodically. The are growing spectacular without a single blemish.
Day 71 - I watered the plants and increased nutritation according to schedule.
Day 77 - 3rd week of flowering. Not a lot to add. They are growing. I watered with the recommended solution yesterday.
Day 79 - I removed some of the lowe bud sites and leaves that are not contributing and are not getting any light.
Day 84 - Everything is progressing nicely. I watered yesterday using the standard nutrition schedule. Both plants are very healthy. I included a picture of trichomes developing.
Day 89 - I watered the plants until runoff
Day 90 - Another week in the bank. The plants are growing and the buds are getting fatter. I had to tie up a couple of them, because they are getting to heavy for the stems. This will be a significant harvest.
Day 97 - I watered the plants. The buds are growing and require more and more support because of the weight.
Day 98 - Another week in the bank. Not a lot to add. The plants are growing and progressing. Some of the colas are getting heavy enough that they require support.
Day 103 - I watered the plants according to schedule using the standard nutrition.
Day 105 - Week 15 has arrived. We are getting close to harvest. So far everything looks spectacular and the colas are getting fatter. I will provide full nutrition for another week and then start flushing.
Day 112 - The colas are getting bigger and fatter every day. This will be a plentiful harvest. I am reevaluating during this week whether to switch to water only and be ready to harvest in 2 1/2 weeks.
