Skipped a week of pictures, b/c bad habits. Should be taking pictures out of the grow light, but I did not realize that this was standard at first. My apologies to the community. Plant is growing beautifully. Was not stretching for light, was growing wide, healthy full leaves. Started to implement light LST and introduced Tribus Original. Set to receive one microbial treatment per week.
I topped it right after last entry, it healed perfectly. Growing strong still. Upped the amount of water I am giving it. It is sucking water up quite fast, and loving life. Cut some low hanging leave on bottom to avoid any rot. Applied some wooden skewers into the edges of the pot to pull some of the fan leaves out more.
Plant starting the explode, did some more light defoliation on the bottom of the plant to the lower hanging leaves that weren't getting much light. I introduced 5 ml of Fish Sh!t/ gal of water this week as well.
Switched to Bloom. My light has a bloom setting so I am just using that. Sorry for my noobish ways. The plant has many bud sites starting to form, and because of my limited space, I was forced to switch it over. Faster than expected. From my research it says that 60+day flowering time is to be expected so we shall see what comes of this! Light defoliation of bottom leaves before lollipopping next week.
Lollipopped the plant this week. As you can see, I am now in trouble with space. I'm in for the long haul so we just have to see what happens, but I have started pulling the light up higher than its maximum height to try to allow more growing space. Plant still looking healthy as flowers start to form and smell starts to come around.
Plant is getting closer and closer to the light. I am sure I will experience some bleaching, but I hope my 600w light will hopefully take it easy. I can have high hopes right? I have propped the light up even more. I have practically used all space in the tent at this point, cannot wait to see where this plant takes me.
Implemented some more light defoliation to keep the energy going to the right places. Plant is sucking up almost a full gallon of water per day. She is looking to be strong, even with the lights getting close.
Only got a couple pictures this week, will be taking more next week. Now that I am learned on taking pictures not in the grow light, I hope to bring better pictures to you all! How am I doing? Does the plant look bead for being so close to my lamp? Any comments and advice is appreciated.
Buds are continuing to form at a nice rate. Flowering sites up and down main shoots are looking fat and frosty. Trichome heads still clear. Wonderful, fruity smell almost reminiscent of Zkittlez fills the air when I open my tent :)
Plant is growing well still. Had to prop up the smaller stem and bud with ties because the bud was getting to heavy for the stem. All is well, trichome production and development still looks good. Still mostly clear trichome heads. The plant's fruity smell is only intensifying, as it develops. Cannot wait to taste. Hoping to harvest sometime in the next few weeks. Did some light defoliation, and took care of some buds that were forming lower on the plant. I have stopped adding any additional nutrients at this point.
Been a good week. Still smells great. Monitoring the trichomes, and they are appearing to get cloudier by the day. Harvest time shall be upon us soon! Unfortunately, I have to move during this process so this shall be a mission. Will definitely be keeping everyone updated with the plant, and how she handles the move.
Plant is growing so healthy. I have determined the plant still needs a few weeks of trichome development. I am starting to have trouble circulating air, and am getting worried about mildew. I have a fan in their constantly running. Anyone with no exhaust fans have experience with this and know how to help cope?
Had to move the plant into the new place today. Was a lot more work than I anticipated. I hurt myself today... I accidentally knocked off some of the lower buds. Halfsquat is hanging and drying, a little sad that I had to do it, but I guess it is the process of learning. I will make adjustments, and my next grow will come out stronger. Been heavily monitoring the plant and its environment as to not stress it out anymore. The trichomes are starting to get cloudy. Hoping to chop in next week or two.
Great smoke for anytime of the day in my humble opinion. It has a nice, cerebrally invigorating, effect. I wish I knew the yield would be as small as it was, however, I am still pleased as it is my first grow!
I was so happy to harvest my first grow. I was absolutely obsessed with the smell and could not wait to try it. I let it hang dry for 7 days. I trimmed it up, it weighed just over an ounce. I smoked after about a week and a half cure in jar. I imagine since it was a sativa dom, and since I had a small tent that is one reason my yield was so low. However, I am in bigger space now, and cannot wait to see what happens with my two new babies :) 😍
